1320 there’s a truck race that happens in Newport Arkansas Named the Tailgate Throwdown… it’s a really good event put on by great people, I think y’all should come out and watch it for sure. It’s on March 28-29 at Newport Raceway in Newport, Arkansas!
Transgo is a transmission parts company. They only really do shift kits. So whoever owns the truck put that company's logo there, not the shop. Buy Transgo stuff, its good I promise!
Ditto. Trans go known for shift kits. Just a set of valves, springs and check balls for some transmissions. $60. Looks like it was a driveshaft failure anyway.
“The 364ss” trucks name is Django. The owner assembled the engine in my dimly lit garage under a bunch of lamps my mom gave me before we got the new led lights up. I cannot express how proud I am to have a part in that thing. Way to go Ben!
Just folks putting together what they have, can get, etc, and going fast and having fun. This is awesome. I'm just a few folks in but all these folks seem awesome so far. Just doing racetruck stuff.
From a guy that has lived in Nebraska his whole life to living in Alabama this past year, the respect younger people give me is just awesome. Sir and mam go a long way
They don't announce if there going somewhere they wanna get the actual feel for the track on a regular weekend not something that they promoted you get what I dig 1320 can only do so much for video and advertising but if I'm them let the tracks blow up for atmosphere and the vibe they give off but I maybe be wrong the way im thinking
Yo Kyle @1320 if you want to come to the baddest all truck race you need to come to The Tailgate Throwdown Newport Raceway in Newport AR March 28th -29th !
I'm from Giles County TN. I'm an hour and 10 minutes from this drawstring & will now be coming to this track to race & spectate. Thank you for bringing this to us! I'm so excited to attend.
It’s awesome that they have something for the full size trucks. Most places just have tailgate class where you’ll get a lot lighter trucks going down bs the big heavy boys. But this is really cool to see.
Man it's great to hear that 14 new tracks have opened . Out here in Houston it does seem like drag racing has been attacked on a massive scale. I imagine other places feel the same in the last five years with all the tracks that have closed. Been looking forward to watching these monster trucks get down! Thanks!
The white Whipple F150 is one of my buddies here in Arkansas. I've got tons of races on my channel with his truck in it. That thing is stupid fast, especially on radials!
Jake’s drag strip has came a long way in the past ten years or so. New owners have really been trying to keep it going. Best part of the racing is getting to stand beside the starting line. My kids like going and tailgating also.
Yooo I was here !!!! I've been waiting to watch this video. I live around 2 hrs from this track and go every chance I can. Great coverage 1320 and it was nice meeting y'all 🤙🏾
Fred! My daughter noticed you were wearing a hat different in this video and said you look different. She’s 7 and loves watching your guys videos with me. Keep it up guys! Yall are helping me raise a house of young gear heads!
Those coyote f150s are gonna be a nightmare in tailgate class everywhere. Like when the small block s10s started to hook way back. Gonna be hard to beat
Super cool event, built trucks are awesome especially the ones that are still driven daily and used as work etc trucks! Can't beat the sound of the turbo diesels and the f150s with the coyote motors are extremely capable of going ridiculously fast. Have seen em on other tracks/events and the streets going absolutely insanely fast and laying down crazy times for a full size truck with full interior still
Love the video, awesome track. The Fred high pitch giggle always follows up a turbo LS 4wd truck. Cool seeing lots of new tracks. I hope at some point in my life I can take a couple months off work grab the dog and some clothes and drive around the country going to random tracks. Even if it’s just Test and Tune during the week. Just to see the old Mom and Pop tracks and support them.
I love a fast diesel as much as any other guy but man i hate how i can't see what they are doing cause they smoke up the whole track. Hard to judge how quick they are lol thanks for being at the finish line so we can watch the action in both ends!
I absolutely love your raw videos you guys are the best we appreciate you so much oh my melanta. Keep on keeping up you men have good camera action what else can I say?
@@bradleyward285 He was running in hard tire the slowest class there. I guess when 80% of fox bodies are Chevy powered Ford guys need to get whatever they can and call it a win

I think once they've crossed a threshold where they develop issues like that, most of these guys use nitrous to spool in a case like that. Or at least that's my understanding of what they get up to.
@@goosenotmaverick1156 really depends on air temps and altitude. The higher the altitude the more you will struggle to light a big single turbo, therefore guys that deal with altitude are more likely to run a compound system where a smaller turbo feeds the big turbo. This event has to have some of the coolest people I’ve ever seen on the channel. Everyone just seemed like they were having fun and happy to be there.
Welcome to the south
I have to say... these were some cool af guys and I'm really surprised with all of the fast trucks too.
That's Bama folks for ya allways down to have a good time and do a little racing 🏁
@zacvaidic3715 that's just how we all are. This is my home track and it's always a good time, everytime.

@ thanks for the advice. Definitely will do, we would love to see them come out.
Dude in the black truck throwing on another belt at the line, spinning then coming thru on the top end like that was so badass🥵
It was a badass race! Being there was awesome.
looks like a party
Nice to see guys just racing and having fun, no dummies arguing and cussing.
Also no idiots standing on the starting line throwing money around and just making things unsafe and chaotic.
"Just the good ol boys..." 🎶
Agreed
I love how hype these 1320 guys are. Asking questions and talking the guys up. No egos, no comments. Just all love and interest.
Us slow truck guys are like Ricky Bobby.. we don't know what to do with our hands 😂
Fred zooming straight in on the logo of the shop that built the shattered transmission was pretty funny
