    Thank you Christy for all the great inspiration and advice! I have naturally straight to wavy hair but I babysit 2 girls who are mixed race one girl has 4c hair while the other has 4a-4b hair, so now every time I babysit I comb their hair with wooden combs with some leave in, and then style their hair afterwards. Now the moment I come over to their house the younger girl asks me if I can do her hair and I agree that it has become a soothing very enjoyable bonding experience! The experience has really inspired me to want to foster myself one day when I have my own place so I can have girls of my own, and there's so many children who need a loving home ❤️ I hope that one day when I foster I will be able to have such a loving relationship that you and your girls have!

    This is a lady who has done her homework about curly/coily hair. I love that!! I also love how she says"style"🥰😊
    Oh also, Christy.. on days that I go to the pool, I take that same exact spray bottle you have, mix some water and conditioner and spray that on your girls' hair before they go swimming or use a leave in conditioner. It provides a layer of protection until their next wash day. Just wanted to share.🥰😊

    • @lovebug8482
      @lovebug8482 3 роки тому +3

      Do you also add leave-in conditioner right after or do a wash day shortly after? Thank you

    • @jmangum307
      @jmangum307 3 роки тому +3

      @@lovebug8482 I would apply the leave in conditioner after shampooing and conditioning to seal in the moisture and sometimes use it in between wash days. As for pool days, it will help against over drying while you are swimming so yes you can apply leave in right after if you are not going to wash right away. You can always do the spray bottle mixture as another option. I hope this helps😊

    Great to hear how you care for your girls’ beautiful hair. A question, not hair related, I would love to see a video on how you ensure all your kids get attention and affection, that special time with you, especially the older kids? Your eldest and middle daughters have such gentle and easy energy, the eldest one in particular always seems so loving of her younger siblings. Love your videos!

Some may never say anything some are jealous but just your knowledge love and compassion for your children and your girls and their hair to go that far as to want to be make sure that they are cared for and not put in into a one box where they have to wear their hair straight. You're such an awesome mom, I love your organization skills I am 66 years old and don't have half of the organization skills that you have you're just awesome please continue and carry on, just continue to do you, all I can say is wow!

    Thanks so much for this video. I'm a teen and I don't know how to do my hair but your video helped. I'm not adopted or anything, I have a African mom and she doesn't know how to do natural hair as much other than braiding and she always permed my hair when I was little and I hated it. Now that I'm natural for a year now, this video helped me on how I should wash and get ready to style so Im happy to try that out when I take my braids out soon. :)

      Hey,
      I am curious, exactly what do you mean by “not a bad grade of hair”? There is no such thing as “a bad grade of hair”. That term has such a negative connotation. It’s better to describe hair type as coily, curly and straight. Thank you very much!

    • @sbrown7671
      @sbrown7671 3 роки тому

      @@tinahill6617 some people know what I mean and you obviously don't. I didn't like frizzy so I relaxed it. At the time it wasn't a product I was willing to try to control her friz. I can do anything style except it will never be curly/coily to straight with the use of the Rev.
