@@ChristyGior8 You are so right. Black mothers need to learn this as well. Black mothers on UA-cam seem to have such a hard time doing their daughters' hair and they have the same texture as their girls. So it is amazing what you are doing. A lot of black moms can learn from you as well. Thanks for the positive energy. Your children are beautiful. And this shows that black girls with natural black hair can rock the same beautiful style as girls from other races and girls who are mixed race.

I have personally known white families who adopted African American children and made such a big (and negative) deal out of doing their hair which just made the girls feel less than. You are a great example of how your love for your kids inspired you to learn about the different types of African American hair and techniques that work. I love seeing you and all your kids interact. Your family seems to be very happy.

Yaaass!!! her hair is so long, thick, and beautiful. You've been watering her crown since she was baby and it shows. The shrinkage is real. She'll never struggle to do her own hair when she gets older. I wish my mom embraced my natural hair instead of relaxing it since I was like 6. Now I love my natural hair but my hair styles are limited lol

I need you to do my hair! 😂 I loved when you said y'all bond over hair. I remember my mom doing my hair 50 yrs ago. We didn't go to the hairdressers. It takes love when a parent sits down and does your hair. It shows a child that their hair isn't too much for them to do. So many young parents send their kids to the hairdressers. Because they don't have time or want to do it. I love your comment. I was very inspired.

Hey Christy I thoroughly enjoyed your live segment this morning except for those 2 horrible trolls. I just love all that unconditional love you have for your children..you are a great Mama..my kids are grown now and moved out and my husband and I are retired so following your channel is great for me. It's truly refreshing to see how you care and love your family.

I was the only white girl braiding all the sistas hair while locked up back in the day. And in the neighborhood before that. I 💜💜💜seeing this!!!!

Thank you for always sharing, teaching and expressing the importance of combing black hair. It is important and needed.... Practice makes perfect. I always comb my daughter's hair in sections, that is a necessity. keeping our hair moisturized and hydrated is important. Peace and blessings and congrats on the baby....

Your older son is so cute!!!!! Kissing baby and hugging sister. My oldest son is 5 and always kissing our newborn and you are making me feel super convicted because he breastfeeds and I didn't want him that close to my bare breast but you made me see that he is super affectionate and that is a great thing. Bless you!
