Thanks for the scoot around , worked there many moons ago . Try out bay view holiday park near Bolton le sands and can be found from the coastline path from st Nicolas lane. Had a little ride out this morning canal from the bye pass bay gateway then off canal onto aldclife road drop down to the estuary path a right then onto the quay ~ millennium bridge then cycle track home

We held our wedding reception at Regent Bay in their Hollywood room. Family that had travelled up stayed on site. The caravans were very clean and tidy, and even allowed dogs.
Wonderful site if you are planning a stay in the area.
