If you are building a brand and business around your music you should definitely have your Instagram account set up as a business account (easy switch in your settings). So, I just committed to an Instagram strategy tonight - created a simple checklist to make an Instagram post once per day - picture content includes songwriting, "in the studio" pics, my instruments, etc. I spent 15 minutes to make my first Instagram post tonight, hashtagged hell out of it, and already gaining new followers - it was fun and I'm excited to see how far I can take it!

Hi Adam, we just thought of an Idea for a future video, maybe you could talk about how to engage and manage your fanbase when you are either just starting out or you have very low numbers maybe even only a handful of fans/supporters? our logic being that if you can engage and manage a small number of fans then you should be able to apply that to a larger audience! great videos as always and please keep up the great work, its much appreciated :-)

Muffle is a good word. I use governor, like the governor on an engine that maintains consistent RPM while preventing damage from over speed. There are so many jokes available about musicians in need of a governor 🤣
I looked up Pro organization because if you want to make royalties off your songs they say you have to be registered they collect the royalties for you. However it stated on Google they don't just accept anyone and its best to have created content for approval. Its a 100$ to apply each time and I don't want to just throw money away. Was hoping you could share your thoughts and opinions
I typically post on IG and right away make a story promoting it. Now I'm going to try to wait till later and then do it when the natural flow of engagement is gone. I also posted the entire video on IG, but that's stupid. I'm thinking I will post a snippet on IG and my story, another longer snippet on IGTV and then the full video on UA-cam. This may be too many steps though, maybe ill just do ig post and youtube.

But my followers went down I was at almost 2000 profile visits now I’m at 1400 something :/ will this work to increase my profile visits ?
