I have been watching quite a few videos for the past couple of days, I have to say - yours is on the top of my list. Very insightful. Covered all i needed on this topic.
Thanks Brock 📝Tips is that I need to niche down and be specific about what you're going to be talking about to make it easier for the algorithm to recommend your content. 🔑The key to growing on Instagram is to have 12 to 15 posts that are all related to your niche and address a problem or educate your audience. 📸The vast majority of your feed posts on Instagram should be related to your Niche at all times, even if you have no followers. Sharing personal stories and creating a sense of community can lead to viral content and exponential growth on social media.📸Posting reals, carousels, and photos are all equally important for growth on Instagram in 2024, as they all perform differently for different audiences within the algorithm.
When you say "Pick Your Niche" and you can change it, does this mean you can randomly choose who you want to attract? Can you pick more than one niche?
Thanks so much for the clear and concise suggestions. I started a new Instagram page dedicated to Travel Photography and Videography the same day I saw this video, and I'm using your tips.
Great content and extremely useful, I am right on square one and this for me is just what I needed to hear, posting of 12-15 stories/ reels to create a store makes sense now I have heard it, I have been trying to perfect all my posts from post 1 and be super polished and then not getting any engagement was starting to grind on me - I have subscribed and will be diving into some of your other videos to learn more - thank you :)
what if i want to do lifestyle, health, wellness, life, travel and photography, food, art and design? I also have one for stuffed toys collection... is that too big of a niche to do lifestyle? right now i have like 6 different instagram accounts all not really active. I don't know if i should combine travel food and photography together... because it seems slightly different style of reels and videos, like informative vs aesthetic. Or combine photography and design, art illustration? and wellness and health falls under lifestyle... and lifestyle covers everything... i like to talk about these topics.. like life stuff or travel explore. for design and art I need to grow it for my career because I am looking for a job in that as a fresh grad.. however I don't really talk about it in my daily life tbh
Hi Brock! I just started posting on a new account 3 reels a day, stories and posts, it’s been only 5 days, but the views are under 20 if that in all of them. The content is similar to what people are posting on my niche ( not copied) is that normal? Thank you for your amazing tips 💗
Awesome content - your pace is perfect, energy is great. Running your business, just curious if you do your own editing? Is this part of your workflow or do you outsource this? Looking to grow, I have the skills and I am wondering if you could give me some advice here.
the last part about the 4 types of shareworthy posts was very interesting. specifically how there was no mention of educational content. any tips on brainstorming ideas for content that fit into those categories?
I would love to see this work for art accounts. I'm an above average artist, People who see my art, love it. I know my niche within the art landscape because my niche is the themes I work with. I feel instagram doesn't like these btw, horror to be specific. I'm quite succesful at live events and also, with less than 1k followers I have gotten publishing deals and commissions from my account. I see accounts that are far worse than mine with 40k and up! and then there's the enigma of female artists... Spikerz scores my account 13/100 yet, I still pick up followers. Trying the new account thing, but still have my old one running. I would like to see these things work for an art account.
How far down do you have to focus? Sure, the more the better as its laser-focused but thats not always possible. Is "self-published books" ok or does it have to be "self-published kids drawing books" (or another niche) ?
First video for me and I’m only a couple minutes in. I’ll finish this but I have to admit, so far I think you’re wrong. I hope you change my mind but as far as I’ve been able to tell, the only people really growing are the people selling selling YT/IG growth. There are exceptions, of course, but it’s rare to see someone grow a hobby site or something like that. We’ll see!
Excellent tutorial. One questions about Instagram "Story". I can't post them from my laptop. And from my phone app, it only allows videos or photos, no "Text posts" as you mention at 23m in to your tutoriial. How do I create a text post? Also if I add a video, I can't edit it or add captions..strange..would be great to know how to do this..thx a million!
27:07 "Educational" is spelled incorrectly. A tip to new Instagram-ers: "Proof content before sharing or posting." You never know who's going to see your post or watch your reel. Bad spelling and poor grammar can cost you a job or a client.
This is the first video I have watched and it is great! I have something to tell you because I would hope somebody would tell me if I had a typo. At 27:06 educational is misspelled.
My Instagram very old and no followers I make it for my work I post my work but I don't get followers neither likes or comment nothing , 😞 I want to grow my page for my work
I'm two minutes in and you haven't even started the subject. All you've done is talk about how successful you are. That is why I am not going to watch your video any further.
I got lost at stories. You failed to mention what those are and the highlights? You should've let a noob watch the vid before you posted it. You suffer from the curse of expertise.
I get confused about stories too. I don't know how to put separate ones up there at once. They all seem to just attach together into one story. I can at least then create separate highlights from each separate part of the overall story, but...yeah. I'm confused.
Skip to 3:00 to start. Use 1:5 speed trust me.
Best advice ❤ thanks 👍
Thanx
I would even say from 14:00 😅
Lol yes
Thanks
Finally, a breakdown for 2024. I’ll post my results and tag you in it.
What's the update G
@@xx-rt2hs hahah
@kevprimeinla soo?
Update?
How’s it going?
This was incredibly helpful for those of us who are newbies starting over this year!! Thank you !
I just wish that the title was more accurate. This video talks more about the setup of the Instagram account rather than how to grow.
welcome to youtube

Same thing is happening to me. I just started on Monday doing a reel a day. So it’s early. Did yours ever pickup?

If only we could eliminate the algorithms and just let social media be social media and let things happen naturally

Hi Fatmata
Bro you talk to much please keep it short talk less.
So generic
+
I literally got nothing out of that. This is stuff that EVERYONE knows
Thank you for the info!
