Hi Jess, such a good way to store paper.
Amazing tips , thank for sharing your great ideas.
Great tip and organizing Jess ❤️ thanks for sharing and happy crafting Hugs xx
Love your videos and great tips. Thanks Jess
Thank you!
Very helpful video, Jess. This is how I store my cardstock also. Thanks for sharing these helpful tips with us.
Thanks it was very helpful to me.
Great tips! Thank you so much for sharing 💖 This was very helpful!
Thank you! Glad it was helpful!
Very helpful.
I did this several months ago. It makes it easier to know what I have
It was such a time consuming process, but so helpful and saves me time now, so I'm very glad I did it.
Good tips! And I LOVE your fingernails!
I need to change the way I’m storing my papers (currently in a rolling cart, where the papers lie flat on multiple shelves). But I want to store all sizes (up to 12x22) together. I finally found a plastic container big enough; since it’s going to be HEAVY, I need to find a convenient location for the box. I think the Ziploc bags will work for me.
Hey Jess! I store my cardstock the same way. I use the heavy duty. I found them in a bulk at a garage sale.
What a great find! If I saw a great price at a thrift store or something I'd definitely go for it.
hello Jess, great tips, thank you so much for sharing. I have the same label maker, I use the non generic brand of refill tapes and the work just as good. Actually there is no difference. I buy mine from amazon. You save a bundle. I just match the modal numbers, I believe. I still have not gone through the pack I bought over 3 years. I don't label as much as I thought I might. But is is wonderful to have. I do however need the adapter, which did not come with my label maker. So I will be purchasing that. thanks again.
Thanks for the feedback about the generic refills. If I find myself labeling more often I'll definitely have to give it a try. I got burned on some generic tape recently so I've definitely hesitated on other generic refills.
Jess you just don't know how much your videos help me in all areas of my card making. Watching you has given me so many helpful tips and tricks for my crafty Journey. I thank you and appreciate your immensely! Please keep up the great content love and blessings to you and all you desire. Bevie 💕
Thank you for your sweet comment Bevie! It means so much to hear that my videos have a positive impact on others.
Jess you are super organized! Yet you are also reasonable in other ideas for those who are not. I’m trying to organize my paper crafts, it can be daunting for me.
I understand. Organization can be helpful but also time consuming. Usually it saves me time in the end because I'm more likely to need to know what I used than the average crafter. Btw I tried to respond to your email but it returned undeliverable. I don't know if any sources for that die but would consider emailing Waffle Flower as they will likely be the first to get it back in stock.
@@JessCrafts thank you! I found another company in the UK that was a little less expensive in shipping. Waffle Flower told me they were not making anymore of these dies. Just waiting on that, I now have the stamp. Planning on using a mixed media craft for a present to my acupuncturist. Sorry about my email, the same thing happened when “ Crafty Al” Alicia tried to respond to me. Wonder if it a UA-cam issue? Thanks again.
I use the 2.5 gallon bags from $tree for the 12x12 paper 🙂
Great idea! I have some of my 12x12 stored similarly.
❤️❤️❤️
Jess your videos are the first ones I look for when trying to find card ideas and organizing my supplies. I am currently switching over to the job ticket storage for paper. I am stumbling though when it comes to the mixed hues of colors on a good way to sort them. My brain is just swirling with ideas. I didn’t know if you happen to come across this stumbling block? Would it be best to separate the paper pack? Keep the color together even if it is from different makers - but put a sticky note on one sheet to divide the makers? Help! Lol.
I gave each shade its own ticket holder if I knew where it was from. So if a pack came with 4 different purples I gave each shade its own holder and label. If I had only one sheet, I just put all the purple singles together. Hope that helps.
@@JessCrafts thank you Jess! I was thinking that was the route to go. My mom got me hooked on card making when she showed me your card video making like 60-70 cards with one pack of the recollections paper. (The purple and yellow ones) and I was hooked! She has been card making for years and I am just recently starting, but now it’s something else we can do together. ❤️
If you purchase a paper pack, i.e Parklane Memory Florals, how do you labels the “consumable “ portion so you may continue to use the ticket holder? Do you still apply the Scotch Tape over the theme name and simply peel it up once you’ve used the pack? Thanks for all you great tips!
If I empty one and am not repurchasing then the labels come off pretty easily. The scotch tape is generally harder to get off than the printed label.
My dymo didnt come with charger. Where would I get one? Mine looks different from your
Mine didn't come with a charger either. I had to do research to find one compatible with my model. A good place to start is finding the model number of your label maker and doing a Google search or checking the Dymo site.
Jess I purchased a big pack of mixed pastel recollections Cardstock , I guess I didn’t read the label but it has white core. A little disappointed but I am using it anyway.
The Park Lane cardstock I have also has a white core. It's not my preference but I hardly notice it in the finished product on most cards.
@@JessCrafts I guess the white core is good if you use it to tear it for a card. 🤷♀️
I accidentally got some white core. No way I will use it. Gave it to a friend who will.
The white edges can be inked if they bother you.
@@deloresangus7117 thanks for the tip!
Nice organization tip! Are you still a teacher?
Thank you! I'm not currently teaching in the classroom.
Summary of storage for those who don't have time to watch: she uses job ticket holder.
