I just bought this Elastin product because I have faith in you🎉 of course wasn’t enough for the free gift so I spent another $200 on body lotion that will make me look like a teenager again 😅
Thank you for the product analysis- I so look forward to your educational product videos. I just re-purchased a large-size Alto, but I plan to definitely try the Alastin Antioxidant Serum when the Alto runs out!
Thank you so much for the video ❤❤❤. I have been using the Alastin body cream for about two months to address creepy arm skin and I do see a difference. I have been looking for a vitamin c cream with correct packaging and delivery system so I'll give this a try too. 😊
Do you recommend using the Alsatian C with the Aladdin Luminate ( I also have discoloration and spots).? Or do you recommend just the vit. C serum . Using both can be a bit pricey.
I agree but on the other hand there are companies that do provide the percentage and it's far from the optimal amount. And people tend to think more is more so that can be bad too. In addition, look at all the vitamin C formulations that DO give a percentage but not the pH and when you test them, they're garbage. I'd judge more by how solid a company is rather than a number on the bottle. Especially if they publish results in a medical journal.
Thank you for this video! I use this product but recently started using Arazlo as my first ever retinol and find my skin to be more sensitive now. Do you prefer AlphaRet products from skinbetter science, or what are your thoughts on Arazlo as a prescription retinol? I'm not sure if I should switch and use AlphaRet instead, Also, do you prefer the Alastin vitamin C or the Alto?
I love your explanation. Alastin is a great brand, the question is whether the quality Vit C with clear percentages by a reputable company like Timeless, could be effectively replaced by Alastin Vit C plus antioxidants. As to the elastin effect, I use Alastin, however with the cost of over $170 I am bound to try the new product from Maelove which also promotes elastin and costs 4 times less. Additionally, I have tried Image Max cell rejuvenator and am very impressed with the product, and again the same issue of balancing more layers ( Vit C, antioxidants, ceramides, etc) vs much higher price and less layering.
I’ve tried this product for two months (from samples given to me by my aesthetician) and quite honestly, it’s an okay product but definitely not game changing. I’ve had several dermatologists and aesthetician I’ve visited pushed hard on this product and so gave it a try but it’s just meh. It’s equivalent to using a drugstore brand so based on the price, I would not recommend.
What product would you say contributes most to your glow? It appeared more visible when you first mentioned this product in an earlier video, but you would know best so I figured I’d ask
Natural glow will come from regular chemical exfoliation with Alpha hydroxy acids and regular use of retinoids. ex. Alpharet products, ZO enzymatic peel and exfoliation accelerator Added glow from products: ZO AOX illuminate, Colorscience glow sunscreen xo
I use DRMTLGY’s l-ascorbic acid serum in the morning. Would it be too much or pointless to use Alastin’s serum at night? Would this degrade my copper peptides? Thanks!

I LOVE the Alastin body cream!
Crepey arms are creepy😂

I think you'll really like it ❤️

Can you please do a, What’s in my bag video. I find them so fun.
how fun! ok
Use it daily now for over a year.
It sounds intriguing but I do wish they would provide the percentage of actives. Thanks for the info!
I do too. Skinbetter doesn't either and I don't know why.
thanks!@@theocbeautymd
You don't trust they know what they are doing?
People with sensitive skin need a lower percentage. Not everybody needs the same strength, in my opinion.@@J.E.C.
@@J.E.C. no
It's alomst 2024 and they don't say how much vitamin c in it ! I don't like using blindly an active ingredient without knowing the precentage

They are an investment for sure! I'm so glad you are finding more affordable options that work for your skin!
How does this fit into the line of ski better line of products? Ania, please respond. i never get likes or replies from you
Super video
I have dry skin so maybe Alto Advance in Winter and Alastin Vitamin C in Summer or alternate, Alastin for day and Alto for night
yes! exactly!
I thought C E ferrulic by Skin Ceauticals was one of the best vitamin C . I’ve been using it for years.

Very helpful info! How long does the bottle last using once per day? Trying to determine my subscription frequency.
just under 150 pumps. So if you use a pump twice a day, it would last about 73 days

❤super interesting video
Glad you think so!
Thank you for the review. Is this type of vitamin C better than tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate? Is it less irritating?
this serum is not irritating but neither is tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate
Neither is irritating. THD and sodium ascorbate are not irritating and do not require a low pH, (which can be irritating).
I use DRMTLGY’s l-ascorbic acid serum in the morning. Would it be too much or pointless to use Alastin’s serum at night? Would this degrade my copper peptides? Thanks!
No it wouldn't degrade peptides. Yes I think adding this would be extremely beneficial if you use ascorbic acid because you will protect your elastin.
Omg. Her products are expensive!
$178
I like this serum a lot but it is not a light gel, the second ingredient in this serum is fat, it is quite greasy, wont work for oily skin.
Sometimes judging ingredients alone without taking formulation into account can be misleading.
Absolutely not true!!! I have oily skin, also im taking antidepresant wich makes my skin really oily and this serum is very good for oily skin!
