One thing I’ve learnt over the years from NH videos is the our hair loves being wet. This seems to be the common thread in all the braid outs, twist outs, wash n gos etc. So I guess one can use anything that agrees with their hair as long as something ‘water-based’ is used in combination.
i have wavy/curly hair and i use only old school products on my hair. and my hair is now passed bra length when straight. i will be 3yrs post big chop in december. my hair loves old school products and is thriving.
@@SashieETV pink lotion, bb moisturizer, blue magic grease, s curl etc. i also do an aphogee 2 step protein treatment every six weeks. always use heat with my deep conditioner and alternate each wash with a moisture deep conditioner and a protein deep conditioner. and i use a sulfate shampoo to really clean my hair. that my goal when curly so when straight its much longer. just recently bleached my ends blonde.

Yes people dont know scurl curl activator is to be used underneath the pink oil which really is like liquid grease...the moisture was from scurl and foam..the pink lotion only sealed it in

Hi, Queen. My edges are on the thinner side so I don’t necessarily need a scarf but if you have thick edges, I would suggest to use a scarf after you apply the jam. 💜
