Hey everyone! Hope you enjoy the video, it's our biggest to date. With 2022 almost here, we wanted to show you everything we'll be doing to get into the best shape we can. Hope you can either follow along or hope there's something in here to inspire you. Let us know your goals for 2022!
My goal for 2022 is to get back into the best shape and weight I've ever been. I was so close at the beginning of 2020 and fell off the fitness wagon hard and have gained almost 30 pounds of the 87 I lost from 2018-2019. It's time to get disciplined.
Don't worry man! Youre not alone in this path! I lost like 60 pounds from 270 to 210. But went back up to 240 granted I lost a lot of muscle and put on muscle but def gained fat. I want to get down to 210 again and even lower.
I went trough the entire video just to hear the best phrase "a competition against myself". And that's what I'm doing right now after 38 years of lazyness. Thanks Dudes for everithing you do. Best regards from Italy
Hey guys! I got introduced to you as my first fitness/bodybuilding channel in 2017, and I bought your programs and followed along for a while. I switched over to Olympic lifting at the beginning of 2020, but I still come back to enjoy your videos because it has a charm that no other channel has. Keep up the great work and take care!!
This is an absolute beast of a gym routine, I'd struggle to achieve all that at the intensity you guys do. I've been training 4 days a week for just over 7 months, for me manageability is key I personally couldn't do six days and stick to it for months. Respect to you guys for having the motivation to do that
Agreed. One thing to do multiple days in a row but so many compounds, day after day, is crazy stuff and intense as all heck. Seems hard to sustain for months on end.
Since march 2020 my fitness regiment just died but I just got back into it and started a bulkin program at my uni gym. I really needed this rn guys thanks.
What is so wild is that is when I started really hitting the gym on a regular basis, granted I was lucky and using a gym we had on our drillship.. And I had something of a garage gym, so I was able to keep going that way..
This is by far my favorite video you guys have done. I keep coming back to it time and time again whenever I need motivation. Been a long time fan and you guys are by far the best fitness youtubers out there end of story. Keep doing what you are doing, and STAY BUFF
This is like a feature film! This is my second time watching it to get even more info out of it. Thanks for all the work you put into this one. Stay Buff
This is one of my top 3 videos from you guys! Love when you give a full view of the journey! Personally love the grocery shopping, meal prep ideas, and info about safe and strong lifting 🤙🏼
I was just telling a friend the other day, the grocery shopping is somehow a really great part of it all haha. maybe because you really get a feel of the ENTIRE journey? --- set goals- work out - shop - cook - meal prep - eat - workout ---
Just finally started tracking my calories and macros two weeks ago and picked My Fitness Pal for the job specifically because you guys talk so highly of it. It’s great and making this process a lot easier than I thought it would be. I’d put off tracking this stuff because it seemed like a pain, but realized I needed to if I was going to be able to set and accomplish specific fitness and aesthetic goals. So far My Fitness Pal is making it super easy. I’m learning so much more about what I’m eating. It’s really eye-opening. 💪😀
I sweat to god, 44minutes of free education + fun is just incredible. I am actually super impressed that you guys are able to keep up that quality content for over 10 years?! Greetings from germany and thanks for making my life and many others much better...
Your channel and your workouts have been such an additional motivation to my own. Love your channel! I don’t go a day without training! I didn’t come this far and train for the last two years when the world decided to take the gyms away to quit now! I am a BUFF Girl 💪
I have to admit, I got teared up watching the intro. I lost all the gains due to covid. Had trouble getting back into the saddle, and 10 mins after watching this it got me back to the gym! 🥳🥳
Love watching you guys, my goal is to get back in shape. I have yo-yo dieted for years. I have gotten in great shape but then fell off the horse. Co-vid had taken my health to an uncomfortable level. Keep up the great videos, love watching them as I get the day started and motivating me to my end goal. Weight pushing 220+ afraid to get on the scale To An eventually 165-175 lean physique. Ready to kick ass in 2022!! Happy New Year!! Yeah!!!!
It's crazy how far you guys have come. I remember you guys doing the backyard workouts, like dumbbells only, jumping in the water trough, using an old school split two piece squat rack, or just not even having matching plates.
Thank you!!! This video came with the perfect timing. Gyms are closed because we have lockdown again, and I have only a few barbells, dumbells and a bench at home. Now I know what to do without the fancy machines 💪.
I had a backpacking accident in 2010, and I ballooned up to 280 lbs. I did 23 hour IF for 8 months and dropped to 205. Once I started eating normally again, I shot back up to 250. I'm now 240 and on phase 1 of the 12 week program. This year I will learn how to properly eat, exercise, and maintain a healthy weight. I will be able to play with my kiddos on the floor and not get winded. Thank you for all of your videos - they're literally saving my life.
You guys have been a huge inspiration and motivating force for me the past month. I found your channel about 6 months ago, and you have ignited a fire inside of me. I'll never be able to thank you enough. And the myfitnesspal has been a life saver for me.
Great video with lots of awesome tips and such. Those workouts, especially being 6 days a week, are intense with all the compounds especially two days in a row and even the 4 plus in one workout as well. Much love and respect from Canada 🇨🇦
I feel like a life of fitness and health has so many different variables. Im always learning something new everyday and really appreciate the Buff Dudes channel because your helping me repair my relationship with food. Its good seeing you guys cook and shop. Thanks Buff Dudes!
Thank you for this video. It got me fired up. I’m the past I’ve chased health, at one point losing 100 pounds! Now I feel as fit as I’ve ever been and I’m ready to chase some aesthetics. Gonna follow along with y’all and chase that peak physique. Bought the superhero guide to show some support. Here’s to 2022! 💪🏼
This is hands down the best youtube fitness channel. They break everything down for you and explain what is beneficial for your body. No other fitness channel does that in the amount of detail that buff dudes do.
Another cool alternative to the afternoon/before bed snack is eating Skyr (Icelandic yogurt), and in that way you don’t need the protein powder because Skyr is very rich in protein. Nice vid, guys! Thank you so much for all the amazing content that you guys have been putting out! Very informative!
@@TylerDurden-td2yg cool info! How much of protein is there? I know that Skyr has 20 g. of Protein per portion. Depending on the producer, some Skyr Yogurts have more than 20 g of protein alone. I think that it is pretty high but I can be wrong
@@guilhermelonskispacheco7644 Depends on what you define what a portion is. I know low fat quark has got 12g of protein per 100g. Almost zero fat and 4g of sugar per 100g. I eat 250g of low fat quark with a scoop of protein powder 2 to 3 hours before bed. That's about 55g of protein with 2g fat and 11g sugar with a total amount of nearly 300 calories
@@TylerDurden-td2yg Going by the labels on the ones in my fridge, per 100g: Quark 59kcal, .5 fat, 4.4 carbs, 9 protein vs Skyr 64kcal, .2 fat, 4 carbs and 11 protein. Quark is half the price and a bit less thick, which can be good or bad. Both have higher protein / kcal than fat-free greek yogurt, low-fat yogurt. As you can probably tell, I prefer Skyr but I keep Quark for when it's an ingredient in something.
Buff Dudes, thank you for going through this workout for all of us. I've been working through it over the last few weeks and I want to thank you for the gift...the gift of DOMS. Have a Happy New Year!
Thanks for theses videos guys. Managed to maintain a decent gym cycle in 2021, but this video was definitely a motivator to stop bs-ing and really set some goals.
I love the videos guys! I've been watching for a while now as a help for some fresh ideas and better understanding of some of the finer details of fitness. I must say the one thing I'm very envious of is your eating habits! I stay on track most of the time, but man, you guys have it dialed in. keep up the good work!
Great video guys, your channel gives me so much positive energy and inspiration, even when I’m having a bad day or going through a rough patch. Keep up the great content and wish you all the best for 2022
Hey buff dudes, I will be following along with you for the rest of 2022, I absolutely love the superhero workout, it really pushes me to my limits and I love the sense of accomplishment after every workout, I will send you my results by the end of 2022 and I have a feeling you will be impressed 😁, I hope my goal is to impress my self first of all, I wanna get into the best shape that I have ever been and I will do so using your superhero workout, consistency, and daily calories and macro tracking, you guys thought me every about working out and bodybuilding thank you for the amazing content, and as always STAY BUFF 💪
You guys, my First and favorite Channel of pure Energy and Motivation!!! I'm starting full gym routine, strength and muscle for the 22. Thank you very much and stay 💪. Cheers from Brazil.
Picked up the book to support an awesome channel that has helped me stay motivated for years. Due to injuries my wife has never gotten to see what I looked like during my competitive days.. so my goal in 2022 is to show her and myself that I can still look lean and mean! Stay buff yall!
Been doing this program and split and I feel super good on it, it is quite challenging but it sets a goal for me to be able to fully complete the full program 2022 is the year to get that goal weight, thanks Buff Dudes! Yeah!
I've watched a bunch of your diet videos, where you try carnivore, etc. It appears that the classic bodybuilding diet is your favorite diet, as that's what you are doing now. Keep up the great work guys!
Currently have 2 weeks left of my 12 week PPL programme. But as soon thats over I’m taking a week off and jumping on this programme ASAP. Thanks Buff Dudes 💪🏾
Not sure how this video made it past me as I am subscribed but I can say that after finally seeing it that this is one of my favorites, (next to having videos of Buff Dad included of course lol!) 43:59 of ed on how to be buff af is just what I needed to see, sorry that I am late to the party , that almighty algorithm decided that for me for whatever reason.
I always found gyms intimidating and worried that I'd look like an idiot, not knowing what I was doing. Your videos and programs have really, really helped me understand the different exercises, how to do them, and learn so much of the terminology that just makes me feel like I know what I'm doing. Currently on Stage 1 of the Superhero program.
I'm on stage 2 of the Home Gym plan and am already seeing some good results. Appreciate your videos! Looking forward to completing the home gym plan and then trying the super hero plan.
Might be something you guys have mentioned before, but I’d love to know how you work up to better grip strength. I find myself struggling with lifts like deadlift or shrugs when I go heavy - usually my grip starts giving out before the worked muscle. I know straps are an option, but I’d like to work up to easier handling without strap assistance.
Try rock climbing once in a while. It will destroy your fingers and forearms long before the rest of your upper body. And it will make your hand tendons ungodly strong. There are new gyms popping everywhere nowadays.
Another quality video! Thanks. At the beginning of the pandemic I really got out of shape but in 2021 managed to lose 35 kgs (77lbs) and reached a healthy BMI again. Now it's time to get super shredded (or buff as you would say). Let's get it. P.S MyFitnessPal is definitely essential.
Hello Buff Dudes, been watching your videos for a while as I love you guys and your content and have just taken the plunge and bought the Superhero guide and signed up for a MyFitnessPal account. The goal is to lose 50lbs by March 22, an aggressive goal I know and having this video show up in my queue was just the push that I needed. Anyway, stay blessed and thanks for all the hard work you guys put in behind the scenes to provide relevant exercise information.
That's not realistic or healthy. The enthusiasm is great but you'll feel awful and it'll be unachievable. Healthy weight loss is 1 pound a week to maintain good habits LONG TERM. That's really what it's about. And remember, weight isn't the only and best indicator of health either. You'll get it done though!
My goal for 2022 is to drop the 33 pounds of weight I gained during covid get off these BP meds because of the weight gain get back to a healthy sleep and eating regimen and inspire my 14 yr old daughter to do the same. BUFFDUDES keep up the good work you 2 are a big NO a HUGE inspiration. Currently 193 at 5'6" stay tuned because I'm determined.
Just came across your channel today after watching how much weight that will bend a barbell. Glad I stumbled upon this video. I started too on Monday for getting back into shape. Can't wait!
Really love the video guys; just wondering if you’ve ever done a video to help people with physical exert or jobs? I’m a tree surgeon and always struggle to know if I’m doing things right. Hope you have a lovely day and stay safe
I don't understand why the best fitness channel on UA-cam still has only 2.5 M subs. You putting so much work and effort to your channel you should have at least double the subs.
A letter that will be updated in a year. Buff Dudes, You guys have been heroes to me for years. In high school I would get compliments on the blessings the bicep gods (Brandon and Hudson) bestowed upon me after watching your videos. I would always respond to the compliments with a bicep salute (argh ooo yeah *feral noises*). I’d always get a weird confused look and I always laughed. It was so funny sharing your awesome videos and having friends fall in love with your cool quirky approach to fitness. An approach that wasn’t any BS just fitness and knowledge. It’s been 8 long years of being a fan. In those 8 years I’ve been in shape because of you. Recently the pandemic ruined me. Physically I am a shadow of myself. Weighing in at 187 at 5’7” I just feel bad and down on my physical state. Relationships have been battered and most have been lost. 2020 in my mind has been a 2 year long nightmare to date. That’s going to change. A week ago I started watching your videos again after a roughly year long hiatus. A fire that burned strong and bright has been lit once again. The gain gods are calling. And as Brandon in a Biblical dude costume once said “As the stars in the sky were created above and the earth below: so should you too create your body in the gym….basically get biblical up in this shiiittt” Who am I to not take such wise and sage words. I will create my body in the gym and use all the life lessons you’ve both taught me to change my life…not to what it used to be but something different, something better. With love, Kevin Castro ( I’ll probably update this and make only one video of my journey using your tools in a year.)
My fitness pal is amazing. Just get it. It will make you really sad for like a few days then you’ll get your sh*t together. I’m fat and it has helped me lose 25 lbs so far. Wish these buff dudes had more info on getting unfat before buff! I can’t do squats or deadlifts because my knee sucks.
Will you guys be doing cutting videos this new year? That would be very helpful - like full day of eating cutting, grocery meal preps, workout splits, etc.

I like this Vlog. learned a lot. that's why I SUBS. Thanks for sharing. Happy Holiday
There are new gyms popping everywhere nowadays.
use straps for the last set to failure... if you train to failure this way your grip improves according to my experience but there many ways 💪🏻
Farmers carry’s are solid for grip strength and will develop other muscles as well as a little cardio
Buy some fatgrips. Lift with them and get that grip power you desire.
I've used a mix grip on those lifts you described and it's been helpful for my grip strength in general. Remember to switch your grip per each set. 💪🏾
lotsa love for you dudes, appreciate what you're doin
Love to watch you guys! Excited for 2022. I think it's funny you guys have a multi grip pull up attachment on your rack and never use it.
Can't say enough how good and helpful is this channel! Thank you! :)
Good stuff! But gotta give a extra thank u for the time stamp in the discription box. Thank u. Picked up a few pointers
What are your top protein powder brands at the moment as you're scooping in the stuff into everything.?
Oooh, just the intro givin' me tingles!!!
This video is buff with solid info. Fantastic work
You guys are Awesome!! Thanks for the helpful content that has helped me on my 3 year fitness journey so far. 💪 inspirational
44 minutes this is gonna be a good video!!! Time to get some popcorns 💪🏽
Thanks for the video guys! im about to start the gym next :D
Man, you guys rock! Not only do you provide tons of great info, but you always just make me damned happy😊💪
Great video buff dudes!!!!
Thanks Gus
Im so inspired by you guys. Thank you a lot!
Can't wait!
A monster of a video---a second shy of 44 mins! Appreciate the effort, Hudson and Brandon! Yats Ffub!!
i love all these dumbbell exercises! so helpful. think i'm gonna go get your dumbbell workout plan, so i can see ALL of 'em. : )
Really love the video guys; just wondering if you’ve ever done a video to help people with physical exert or jobs? I’m a tree surgeon and always struggle to know if I’m doing things right. Hope you have a lovely day and stay safe
2022 will be the year of Buffness. Thanks dudes!
Perfect. I plan to start in December. 👌
Good luck Natalie!
I don't understand why the best fitness channel on UA-cam still has only 2.5 M subs. You putting so much work and effort to your channel you should have at least double the subs.
Great video dudes! A week in and I already feel incredible.
Its here!! You magnificent men, the guide to save us all from the pandemic weight and try to become our very own Buff dude! 💪🏻💪🏻
I can't wait for your meal plan recipe book! I hope it comes out soon!
Here from Argentina, following your advices. And doing most of your exercises. Working hard!
Next step.... Improve the quality of my meals.
A letter that will be updated in a year.
Buff Dudes,
You guys have been heroes to me for years.
With love,
Kevin Castro
( I’ll probably update this and make only one video of my journey using your tools in a year.)
Love you work guys. Keep it up. Subscribed
So, true when people say "I dont have enough time to workout" no no no you make the time. No excuses play like a champion Great video peace
Awseome video. As usual🤟
I love combo strength and cardio workouts with how hard it can be to sort out time.
Will you guys be doing cutting videos this new year? That would be very helpful - like full day of eating cutting, grocery meal preps, workout splits, etc.
Superb content as always gentlemen 👍🏻
