If doug is not screaming he is okay i guess...
What bothered me is that nobody using charge move characters did their down charge moves. So no Vega flips, Flash kicks, Spinning bird kicks, Blanka upward roll thingy or Sumo splash attacks.
OF COURSE James had to make Doug play this game...

Why hasn't anyone done that yet? Mario has a very active modding community.

I have something better for you: The recent Transformers: Prime and Transformers: Robots in Disguise shows clearly take some elements from the Michael Bay Transformers movies, and since there have been toy series based on those TV shows, there you have it:
A toyline based on a tv series based on a movie based on a tv series based on a toyline. Full circle.
There's also Pokemon Puzzle League. A game based on the anime that's based on the games.

The home versions of this game actually made it playable and more like Street Fighter 2. If you play the arcade version on an emulator or something, it is completely different. One character the arcade version has was called Blade, basically a Bison soldier.
The arcade looked a little sharper but the console versions played better, particularly the Saturn version
I think Blade was also Gunloc from Saturday Night Slammasters or something.

This was actually among my favorite Street Fighter video games. If for no other reason than I got to kick ass as Jean Claude Van Damme. If it were released on the PSN tomorrow, I would buy it... And probably suck at it just like Super Star Wars.

I remember seeing this in a gaming magazine when I was in fifth grade (when it came out) and getting soooo excited; not for the game itself, because if Street Fighter was now using digitized actors... then there is _no reason_ NOT to have a crossover with Mortal Kombat...

Sure, it itsn't perfect but itsn't as bad as most people wants you to think.......
I like the FMW-videos and a lot of the music.......The Gameplay was so so...
I remember back in the day this game was highly underrated. I thought the game was quite fun and controlled decent. The music video you got at the end of one of the game modes was nice ( I forgot which one).
+Mackenzie Layne I think a lot stemmed from peoples hate towards the movie. The game used digitized graphics rather than that traditional cartoon style but controlled and played very familiar. The music soundtrack was actually great and enjoyable. This game was also a treat to play with the Saturn 6 button controller. So yes...I would highly recommend for any Saturn owner who likes fighting games.
As far as I concerned nearly everyone would have bought Kylie Minogue if she's were for sale.

I played SFII relentlessly back in the day. When the SNES version as announced, I actually practiced the moves on the controller a full month before it was released for each character. I was a fanatic about the SNES release, and a proud SNES owner at the same time compared to the inferior Genesis version :) The day I got it in the mail was a grand day for sure in my life.
Now..... I go online via Xbox Live and get my ass handed to me within seconds. :(

I can't believe this game is based on the crappy live-action Street Fighter movie which is loosely based on the manga and the video games. Crappy, but it looks fun just by watching this video!
You to have to remember that Street Fighter 2 was really old by this point and even the latest arcade versions were of the game looked dated compared to things like mortal kombat or killer instinct. I always thought that street fighter was the best of these to play even if it didn’t look as flashy, but a lot of people still wanted to play games with digitized graphics or whatever.
Fun fact: Jay Tavare the guy who played Vega in the Street Fighter movie also plays Vega in the Green Ranger Vs Ryu Super Power Beatdown episode.

Looks stupid, very stiff movements, but not a terrible game. Music is pretty good too, on the Saturn version. Not sure how the music went in arcade and PlayStation versions.
