This is the first time someone has actually explained to me how and where confidence comes from and not just say "you just have to believe in yourself!". I've always been the type of person that had to know every nook and cranny of something in order to believe in it. So the way you broke confidence down to a step-by-step kind of thing and explained it was extremely helpful to me. Thank you your videos are saving my senior year in high school 😭😂❤
I'm glad you did this I love it. Glad you did what excites you!!! I love ya girl!!! Glad you did this I'm almost 43 and I feel have zero confidence. I love art I need to do it more someone said I have talent.
You are so lovely to watch and listen to. I'm 53 and get so much out of your channel. Thank you for encouraging your younger viewers as well, your generation is under a tremendous amount of pressure. Keep up this inspiring work!
j wildflower Believeme I am 26 I have lost 5 more years than you, overthinking is not worth it, is like a switch u can turn it off or leave it on, that is the overthinking (I hope it helped) ;)
j wildflower I think the best you can do is in trying different things but if you find something that you like, try to improve and stick to it even when you are failing sometimes. As long as it brings you joy over all :)
This must be a sign. I'm currently going through a struggle with confidence. I'm realizing that it's what is keeping me back. Not having enough confidence in myself and believing that I have something to offer!
Ugh, those P.E. classes... hated them, embarrasment granted for those of us who were not into sports. I totally get your story cause though I was good at baseball I sucked at soccer, basketball, voleyball, tennis... my fellows yelling at me... ew, bad memories. I was never more happy than that moment when I was told that in the last year of highschool here in Spain we didn't have to do P.E. I almost cried X'D On the other hand, I've always been a good student and I have been drawing since ever, and got praised because of my creativity, so I'm confident about drawing, learning and writing, but not about sports. So that part of your story is practically the same as mine :) Find your talents, that's where self confidence starts
We had a unit on FOOTBALL one year which I never understood in the slightest and I think I refused to participate so my gym teacher had me write a report on football to keep from failing me and I didn't really get that either but I must have written a half way decent paper about it... Even reading and writing about football was torture for me.
Basketball in PE went like this... The hot shot jocks showed off while the rest of us ran back and forth like lemmings. One year I had this friend and we spent the whole time taking and waking back and forth on the sideline and somehow got away with it. Lol.
I am 16 and I am a shy girl... I am always afraid to share things with people, because I am overthinking before saying anything... This video helps me a lot... Thank you so much 😘
Not everyone has to be good at sport. You are great as you are. Your videos are superb. Your voice is lovely to listen to. Enjoy you dings and wins in life.
I can definately relate to being the sensitive goody-two-shoes child who often felt misunderstood and didn't reveal their interests if they sounded too scary. I really agree with your point about how the little wins are what gives you the confidence for the big ones. As an artist I've had pieces that others have called "failed experiments" yet I saw them as major moments of growth and worth it because of what I learned. I would not have had the courage as soon to make larger- scale, more ambitiotious pieces if I had not done the smaller, less- successful ones as passionately as I did. Thanks for sharing your stories ❤ glad I found your channel 🙂
I loved the poker metaphor and how you used that to set up your stories about small victories building upon one another. You do a great job of taking lofty ideas and breaking them down into thoughts that are simple and easy to grasp. :)
I am falling in love with your videos. Keep on going...... I was same like you before now doing in my PhD. Can not imagine how I got this far... Still need to improve in confidence. your videos are inspiring.
The instances of participation in activities in school and college days is really appreciating and worth sharing. Its amazing that small spark of confidence can make such a impactful transformation for the rest of your future journeys.Never give up till the last bit of energy, even that last struggle can give amazing results
I'm short, 145 cm. I was good at sport, I was a runner and also play volleyball in Junior high, but I moved school when I was in high school, nobody know me and they had the competition between class. I was in the volleyball team but no one believe I can play so they put me in substitution, I was so upset and almost cried. (We actually never have any practice together so they didn't know I can play.) Then in the first game, we had no point for too long and about to loose the first game, so the teacher sent me in and I hitted the ball and scored many point for the team. I heard a loud cheering and I was so proud. The year after, we had another competition on Softball and then I was in the team in the first place, no one look at me the same way anymore, they know that I'm stronger than I look! Our class lost in the final round but it was so fun since we were helping and cheering each other!!!
Oh my goodness I've done the SAME THING in a gym class where a bunch of popular guys told me to run during kickball. I ran when I wasn't supposed to and made a total fool of myself 😣 I love your self introspection bc you're right, that experience led to me hating sports and is why I do a lot of exercise by myself. Great video!!
I exercise at home with youtube vidos because I can't bring myself to a gym. I thought I was just lazy but you girls just made me realise that I'm just scared of exercising in front of people because of previous experiences. I keep telling myself that when I'm fitter I will go to a gym. I'm reaching my goal for 2017 of exercising twice a week (before I was extremely inconsistent and therefore unfit) and I'm very happy about it, so maybe it is time to set a new goal 🙌
I loved your bit about sport! Honestly, SO relatable. Going to the gym still makes me INCREDIBLY anxious. Your explanation was golden. Small wins... this definitely makes me want your workbook even more! Thank you, Aileen.
Thank you for this inspiring story. I lost my confidence during childhood, I was bullied as a child and because of that I lost my confidence. That is why I want to open a UA-cam channel to inspire and encourage people. I am learning a lot from your videos, thank you for being an inspiration.
I feel that the key to a fulfilling life is finding out your passion as well as your purpose. Thanks for sharing your story and the motivational words!
Wow! I am 44 years old and feel stuck..i have been to afraid to back to college for my nursing degree..even though I have over twenty years experience in healthcare! You have motivated me to try..to stop letting insecurity and low self esteem stop me! I badly wish to be a stunning example for my children..that no matter how intimidating or hard a goal may seem to have the backbone to leap! Thank you..so much! Keep up the amazing job on your channel..you have a new faithful subscriber!
I took risks in pursuing art as a career and I've never seen small wins the way you do up until now. Looking back in my journey, I do have small wins like doing a live stage demo for a brand and conducting a workshop for five people. Right now, I'm putting the value and importance of my small wins. Now I realize that I'm actually making progress and I'm craving for more! I'm doing action now by taking more risks like revive my UA-cam channel or make my own line of stationery and creative products. Thank you Aileen for your story. We need more people like you in this world. Keep doing your thing. xx
This is my first time ever commenting on someone else's UA-cam channel and I am really entranced by this video. For that, I am eternally grateful for your effort and confidence in condensing and recounting your stories to us. I was a very confident girl back in high school: everyone knew me for my self-confidence in socialising, academics and personalities. However, one day, I was attacked by impudent and impertinent comments from my close friends which plunged my self-confidence level in a really deep pit. I was very grateful that high school was over and college started. I took small steps in making new friends and joined clubs but I wasn't consistent as flashbacks of that horrific moments in high school kept replaying in my mind, reminding me how despicable I was. When uni started, I felt extremely refreshed and made even more new friends and even joined a social event where I met lots of amazing people. I was really grateful for that opportunity and I vowed to join more. Opportunities upon opportunities knocked on my door, but I kept rejecting them as I still felt doubtful of my communication skills. Aileen, you're right, small victories build confidence. I do have many small victories but I just don't intend to pursue them. Therefore, this year (2019), I shall put in more effort in harnessing my personal skills and self-confidence. Love you lots x.
Ι want to hug you! Me , as a person , I really enjoy helping others when I can. For example if someone needs water or information about bus stops etc and even more important things I think "WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP?". For example , a girl in my class needed water and a paper cup in order to take a painkiller but it was very unlikely for her to find any because the class was outdoors. Anyway in a small house (offices and labs) where I went for the wc with some other girls I saw a teacher and asked him for a paper cup and he found one and gave it to me. I WAS SO HAPPY with the cup and went to the girl. I was like "mission accomplished" in my head. I don't know if you feel that way sometimes but you're doing so much more not only for one girl. Every video you make , you give yourself and every second is full of love. You can't see our eyes when you speak to us , but we're so greatful and you have to know it. I'm so greatful
My best friend has the same story, a few years ago she went up to the teacher to ask some sort of question in return she got scolded and now she doesn't even try to take up her stand before the teacher or like before anyone......the small stack of confidence she had in her past has become smaller than before...I always try to improve her confidence and would always keep on telling her inspiring things I learn from you.......love yaa Aileen
As a piano teacher, you have no idea how much you boost my confidence by hearing you admit what a significant role your teacher played in your self-confidence. I make sure to shower my good students with compliments for their effort and I do wish now to see some of them finding their true path through music (even if they won't become professionals)! :) Thanks Ayleen, you rock! Hugs from a Greek in Belgium :)
YOU ARE LITERALLY ME! I was sooo shy middle school and back. I remember watching a highschool play my freshman year and thinking “wow, I wish I was on stage.” It wasn’t until my sophomore year in highschool that I actually started trying out for theatre and became lead trumpet in band. I am now a junior and a lead in the musical. Besides that, trying out these things definitely helped my confidence grow and I am still growing☺️
omg! your video came just in time, i was feeling down because my videos barely getting any views, then suddenly youtube suggested your video from 4 years ago, i watch it twice and will watch it again, it is exactly what i need to hear, thank you Aileen!
I haven't watched it yet, but I'm sure it will be so helpful. I'm not that confident, in fact I'm really insecure, and I hate it. I am going to watch this, and hopefully it will help me, although I'm positive it will. Thank you so much for the inspiration and help you give me, and so many others, Aileen.
Update: I've just watched the video and I never thought about it this way. I have always thought about it as something you're born with, not something that grows over time. I also saw it as one big thing, not much little ones. I saw it like you had confidence, or you didn't, not that you can have confidence in music, but not in sports. As I thought, this really helped me and I wanna thank you again Aileen.
Quinty Van Vlimmeren ah I'm SO grateful to see that your mindset changed about confidence 😻 good luck building your confidence! Sending you love & support 💕
I used to also think that confidence is either something that you're born with or it's due to a certain trait (like good looks for example). And even though we are all born with confidence (I've never seen an insecure toddler) we eventually lose some of it or gain some of it through out our experiences and feedback from our surroundings. Once I started studying the minds of successful people I realized that confidence is a SKILL. It is something that you intentionally train your mind to do. Our brain is a muscle. We exercise our body to be fit and we have to train, exercise, and program our minds as well. It doesn't happen overnight but the good news is that we can all be the people we want to be if we set that intention and are consistent with achieving it. :)
you inspired many people who watched your videos. honestly, at this time I feel like more tough to consider what I am good at, what's skill that I had. I think all of everything that I do is impossible to be reach. either I'm not believing with i do or i absolutely have not intension. i always feel inferiority deep down
Funny thing, when you talk about your lack of confidence in sports. I had the same thing happen to me. And I focused on the win of hitting the ball & decided to learn the rules of baseball & since then I’ve been very confident in athletics. Baseball, basketball, track, volleyball, etc. Just from actually hitting the ball that one time in baseball & while at the same time making embarrassing mistakes because I didn’t know the rules. My point, we had the same experience (mostly), but we chose to place our focus on different parts of the outcome, therefore creating a self fulfilling belief. In the end everything happens for a reason. Your little wins have built you up a very successful life. Congrats!!! Here’s to many more wins!!!
Your videos are really helpful to me, l was also that kid with least confidence, insecure, victim of a cruel father, and having depressed always. After watching your videos I gradually growing my self love, and confidence, now little by little I feel the power of confidence. Thank you . God bless you ❤️❤️❤️
This is so interesting and relatable. During high-school I had so much confidence in art, the school put all my work up in the hall, I used to overhear people in awe and I won awards. I loved bringing people joy through my work. Then I went to college and it felt like it was less about technical skill and more about capturing dark inner meaning. I got a bad grade and was labelled "more of an illustrator" which was meant as an insult. It has taken years to build confidence back up. It seems to take a lot more wins to recover from a single knock back. I'm now embracing the fact I prefer joyful art and create pet portraits, wildlife art and have written a childrens book with my daughter which I'm currently illustrating. I just need to shine more light on those wins again. Thankyou 🙏
Aileen, you are such an inspiration! Girl, honestly, you make me want to keep on doing :) I'm so glad that you didn't quit and didn't stop, 15:42 this is how I feel now, that no one is watching my vids or finding them good enough (well, to be honest, there's lot's of work to be done :) ) but it's so hard to break through with all the content and people making videos these days, it's intimidating... but I'm just telling myself to keep doing what I'm doing and hopefully one day there will be a breaking point :) Thank you so much for being here!! xx
positive affirmations are so important coming from adults, i always give positives to our youngins. it makes a great difference in their lives. whenever, you can do it, never waste an opportunity.
I just cannot express in words how much your channel means to me!! You've helped me with my life and you don't even know me! Please never stop being you, because you are amazing and help so many people
Hi Aileen, i subscribed your chanel for almost half a year every day and every night! I watch it over and over again. You help me to forget my problem, you help me to develop my self, you teach me how to love my self that's why i just wanna say thank you for inspiring me. Im so lucky to find you Aileen.
THIS is truly beautiful. THANK you for sharing. it seems that when my confidence started was when I was a kid and I had it all. but then people calling me names like "goodie goodie or bookworm" made me doubt who I am or just wanted to fit in. not everyone understands but when you're not confident or have that self trust is so sad and you end up in depression or in a bad state of mind. I kind of like the word "self growth" instead of self love. It just feels more realsitic. I really enjoy your channel and I'm glad u didn't give up. you're truly a great role model.
+chocolatechick729 thank you so much! I think learning both self growth and self love is important :) to me they're two diff things. Self growth is improving who you are. Self love is learning to love and embrace all that you are - your flaws and all. Both are important.
it's so inspiring how you were able to push yourself inspite of your insecurities. I think it's really crazy how dibilitating that little voice in our heads that always says "I can't" can be. I'm so impressed by you and I'm really happy you uploaded this and shared your stories. I will definitely refer back to this video when I'm feeling stuck!! great job!
Wonderful video. You said it.... success in life is all about confidence. So many amazing opportunities passed me by because I was too afraid to try...I was too insecure. You have to take a chance, what's the Worst thing that could happen?... believe me it's all in your head. Thanks for this video...such an important topic. 🐘
Until now.. whenever I thought about Role model.. I had no fixed idea.. I thought how can there be a role model when you are open minded and ready to allow inspirations from everywhere.. but in the wink of the moment .. after following you for quite a time.. I realized You are my role model.. It has nothing to do with open minded.. both can coexist.. The fact is I never before came across someone like you😍😍
Lavendaire, thank you for sharing your thoughts on this matter. I have a friend who lacks so much self confidence in herself. She has a constant nagging fear of failing and being judged because of those failures. She has had many experienced in the past where she was judged by her weight, her ability to do certain tasks, what she wears, and many more. I now hope to help her by trying to bring these small wins into her life to help build that confidence in her because of this video! Thank you so much again!! :)
i've been watching this one over and over again. esp. when i had a bad day! the way you tell the story is super super cute and not to mention how much it can help me and others. Thanks Aileen.
Thankyou so much Aileen!! I've been watching a marathon of your videos because I'm currently struggling with anxiety and confidence etc and so this really helps and thanks so much for your awesome tips♡
Your video was so sensational that I literally cried happy tears. Thank you so much for always inspiring me and letting me grow as an individual. I'm having Lavendaire marathon right now 💗
Thank you for making this video. I was squashed, big time. But I don't want to give up yet, because even though my relationship with my artwork has been heavily scarred over the past 3 years, I know I'll never be my true self without expressing who I am and what I believe through it. I've got big tears streaming down my face, and I think I gained a little bit of confidence just watching a couple of your videos. I can't wait to watch more of your content.
Hey Aileen. Just wanted to say that your videos have really been a positive addition to my life. I discovered you by chance last year when i was searching for tutorials on the konmari folding method. And here I am still. You inspire me and have been seriously been helping me navigate my quarter life crisis! So thank you. you rock!
I only just discovered you through a friend 2 days ago and I’m so glad I did! Thanks so much for sharing your journey to self confidence! I struggle with confidence and self esteem my whole life and have been trying for years to improve. Your journey actually helps me believe that I can get there one day. Thanks Aileen. Love ur work! ❤️
thanks aileen, watching your video was really helpful! ive been struggling so much with my insecurity for a while and have tried so much stuff that has not helped at all...then i watch your video and youve inspired me so much! please keep going with your channel youre awesome❤
i really enjoyed hearing your story, i can relate to being shy as a child and i can't say that i have overcome that shyness yet, but i am grateful for the many small wins (and a few rather big ones too) in my life 😉thank you for sharing this...a reminder to continue to work on myself and keep practicing to get better at this content creator business 😋
This just shows how much young people are effected by seemingly insignificant words. I loved hearing your stories and I’m sure other people can relate.
I saw your channel yesterday and I've been watching your vids all day long while doing housework or showering. I'm obsessed with Lavendaire. Thanks so much for creating such an awesome channel
Hi Aileen I think your story inspire me... I think suffering bullying at school in the early years of my life has deteriorated my confidence and fear has been part of that too. I'm 26 but Im starting to understand that life is made of small wins and I want to keep improving myself by taking small steps in the journey ✨ thank you so much for your advice and story .. ✨ One day I will take the risk and start a youtube channel showing my talent! For now I'll keep practincing and working of my inner health ✨💪 love your videos, message and aesthetics 💕
Hi Carito, I am 25 since last week and got the same feeling too. I used to compare myself to a lot of other people, this feeling is lessen now when I am more aware of that. Wish you have a great journey ahead
watching this video made me realize so much things about myself..i was just un aware of them until i listened to your childhood story .. thank you so much
I literally cried like a baby wayching this video. I've been struggling with the self steem and self confidence topic for so long, that sometimes feels normal to me to hold back on stuff i'd really like to try. I am so grateful for finding this channel. PS: the "your story is not over" really really touched me lots of love from Brazil ❤
I don't know why your videos aren't getting enough views, they're beautiful and very inspiring. These must be shared to lots of people especially the millennial whose always confuse about the things and circumstances in their journey. Hope you keep what you're doing and continue feeding the mind and soul of those people who badly need it. 💟
I just love watching your videos and telling stories of these experiences!! I love how your eyes look a lot more confident than past videos from 1-2 years ago. Love to witness your growth
thank you so much for this vid! ive been in rough days and been strugling with insecurity and my lack of confidence, and i found this vid to be so inspiring! x
Thank you so much for sharing! You helped me look at things from a different angle. I have struggled with self-confidence ever since I was in primary school (Australia). I still am, and I am hoping that I can grow in this area of my life. It is not always easy to feel confident. I know how it feels because I was also like that, mainly in high school. There were somewhat a few areas of interest that I felt or believed I was not good for, which have impacted on my confidence as a young woman. Just so you know, I also took the liberty of downloading your videos as a reminder for me. I really need this in my life. Thank you for this! God bless you and your UA-cam channel!!
Thanks for posting this. I found your video because I chose CONFIDENCE as my 2018 word of the year. While watching the video and listening to your story I began making a list of reasons for me to be confident. You have really helped me today. Thanks!
Please be my friend!!! because you actually are and you don't even know!!! This video was what I loved much...through this beginning of the day !!! I love you and I'm so grateful of you!!! of the video you post, of the chances you gave us teaching us how to schedule our goals!!! let me show you the way I feel !!! Thank you!!!
Just what I needed now. I do feel like I have stopped. Not wanting to try anything, doubting my self. Wanted to get better at drawing be more confident. Proof to my mum that's she's wrong I'm not useless at everything. Yet I do so little to change it..
amazing as always honey!!! absolutely feel postive after watching you're videos, like a small part of my strength and confidence comes back. Plus I love your bright backgrounds are. Thank you for you're videos!!😗😍
I like your niche. I’m actually blogging for almost the same niche and has been unsure of it but everytime I watch you, it’s like telling me that it will somehow work.
Thank you so much for this. Every video I’ve seen about confidence up to this point has just been people saying “love yourself! You’re great so just be confident!” But in this video you explained how exactly to get to that point and even gave examples from your own life which helped so much. You just gained a subscriber and I’m now watching all of your videos 😂
I love this! LOVE this! It's so important to remember those small wins that validate certain aspects, efforts, and passions in our lives. Our society currently and for a long time now has taught us that only "Big" wins are to be celebrated. That the small achievements don't mean anything or make a difference. Yet it is those CONSISTENT small wins that add up and truly make the most impact! Especially in our personal lives because they motivate us to be proactive, productive, creative....and to keep putting in the effort in the things that we love and are passionate about. ✨⭐🙏⭐✨
I have a two year old - when i heard you say you overheard your teacher saying how good you are at piano, that makes me think of and be aware of what i say to others about my son, especially if hes within earshot. Making an effort to not keep the good things about him to myself but sharing it with others and letting my son hear those good things. I did that last week after his dance class - grandma was in the car and i said, Kevin is a really good dancer! She agreed with me and praised my son. I think it was a great feeling for all =D
❤️Thank you Aileen, every time I seat to eat my food, I feed my mind with your positive messages, my story opposite I was strong and bold, fearless girl since childhood after abusive 4yrs relationship I became insecure, unhappy, negative, fearful all the bad things. So happy to find you❤️👏👏👏👏
Thanks for share with us. I'm learning english and I felt like a validation when you said we need to put effort to gain confidence. Because I'm watching this video for my personal growth and to improve my english too.
Thank you so much for the tips and sharing your story. I myself didn't have self confidence in school.. Just like you said it's the small victories that boosts your confidence. After watching this video I felt the urge to like take risks and do stuff that I believed in but never had the confidence to do so. Thank you again😘... good luck for all your future things in life .
One of the best videos you've done! It was nice hearing your embarassing and success stories. And with your examples it was much easier for me to understand what I should and shouldn't do to actually get to where I want to be at in my life. Keep up the amazing content, Aileen ❤
I recently a really important exam that was about to literally change my life, and so I've been struggling to get things done this week, I barely ate, drank a lot, and just kept thinking about how much of a failure I was. But now that I've seen this video I feel so much better. I don't think I've ever heard a better piece of advice. I feel so inspired and willing to get back the small confidence that I had and that disappeared when I got my exams results. There are so many hobbies that I have that no one knows about and in which I stopped practicing because I was feeling way less talented than others (like drawing or writing for example). You made me want to go back at it and try. Thank you so so much you don't know how much I needed this. ❤
Your a lot younger than me. But i look up to you because your very smart and very genuine Person. I wish i was as smart as you are. I have no confidence i tried so many times to get my master degree and as soon as i take i take a class i get anxiety and overwhelmed with full time job at the edge of failing class i drop it all together. That killed my confidence that all my friends have good jobs and thier degrees and im stuck where i was all these years.
Thank you for this video! The last days were frustrating for me. I felt defeated because I made some mistakes at work although I tried so hard. In a few days I am going to have my last exam. And I felt so bad about it. But now I dare to believe again in my self. Thank you very much. I love your videos!
I enjoy watching your videos very much! You are one of the most inspirational person that I have met on UA-cam,or probably the most inspirational one I know.Thank you!!

Arpi Abu-Alrub same, don’t worry, we’ll do it
right! I love how she includes her own experiences into it
I know right..she actually gives Solutions she's absolutely priceless
I'm glad you did this I love it. Glad you did what excites you!!! I love ya girl!!! Glad you did this I'm almost 43 and I feel have zero confidence. I love art I need to do it more someone said I have talent.
You are so lovely to watch and listen to. I'm 53 and get so much out of your channel. Thank you for encouraging your younger viewers as well, your generation is under a tremendous amount of pressure. Keep up this inspiring work!
that's so beautiful. thank you for your support!!
That metaphor with the poker game was perfect. Honestly, slayed my mind
Same.
Same that example is so good
i'm 21 and a jack of all trades. i still haven't found a skill that i'm particularly good at, unless you consider overthinking a skill.
j wildflower same!
j wildflower Believeme I am 26 I have lost 5 more years than you, overthinking is not worth it, is like a switch u can turn it off or leave it on, that is the overthinking (I hope it helped) ;)
i am also an over thinker.. its the worst!
j wildflower I think the best you can do is in trying different things but if you find something that you like, try to improve and stick to it even when you are failing sometimes. As long as it brings you joy over all :)
Overthinkers anonymous over here lol
This must be a sign. I'm currently going through a struggle with confidence. I'm realizing that it's what is keeping me back. Not having enough confidence in myself and believing that I have something to offer!
Ugh, those P.E. classes... hated them, embarrasment granted for those of us who were not into sports. I totally get your story cause though I was good at baseball I sucked at soccer, basketball, voleyball, tennis... my fellows yelling at me... ew, bad memories. I was never more happy than that moment when I was told that in the last year of highschool here in Spain we didn't have to do P.E. I almost cried X'D
On the other hand, I've always been a good student and I have been drawing since ever, and got praised because of my creativity, so I'm confident about drawing, learning and writing, but not about sports. So that part of your story is practically the same as mine :)
Find your talents, that's where self confidence starts
oh my goodness, P.E was the worst for me.. i was always so embarrassed! so glad that is over with haha
Lol.
Baseball I actually liked.
I'm exactly the same as you ^^
You are such an authentic, wise + bright light!!! Thank you for sharing your story!! ✨✨✨✨✨
thank you love!! ✨✨
I am 16 and I am a shy girl... I am always afraid to share things with people, because I am overthinking before saying anything... This video helps me a lot... Thank you so much 😘
Me too
Not everyone has to be good at sport.
I can’t stop watching your videos , I already feel successful
That's so well said! Couldn't resist commenting..I feel the same way! :)
I loved the poker metaphor and how you used that to set up your stories about small victories building upon one another. You do a great job of taking lofty ideas and breaking them down into thoughts that are simple and easy to grasp. :)
glad it helped you understand!! :D
I am falling in love with your videos. Keep on going...... I was
same like you before now doing in my PhD. Can not imagine how I got this far... Still need to improve in confidence. your videos are inspiring.
Saranya Gunasegaram amazing!! So proud of you ✨✨
The instances of participation in activities in school and college days is really appreciating and worth sharing.
Morgan Billings YEP. OH I also do a lot of exercise myself too! Haha I didn't think of that but it makes sense that it's related. Sending you love 💕💕
I'm so greatful
you are so sweet!!
I love your videos so much , the way you explain the way you talk is all so smooth and understandable thank you so much
My best friend has the same story, a few years ago she went up to the teacher to ask some sort of question in return she got scolded and now she doesn't even try to take up her stand before the teacher or like before anyone......the small stack of confidence she had in her past has become smaller than before...I always try to improve her confidence and would always keep on telling her inspiring things I learn from you.......love yaa Aileen
As a piano teacher, you have no idea how much you boost my confidence by hearing you admit what a significant role your teacher played in your self-confidence. I make sure to shower my good students with compliments for their effort and I do wish now to see some of them finding their true path through music (even if they won't become professionals)! :)
Thanks Ayleen, you rock!
Hugs from a Greek in Belgium :)
aww i'm so glad to hear that! what you say makes a difference!!
I want to hear you sing! you're absolutely amazing and inspirational!
omg! your video came just in time, i was feeling down because my videos barely getting any views, then suddenly youtube suggested your video from 4 years ago, i watch it twice and will watch it again, it is exactly what i need to hear, thank you Aileen!
+Ellay Watson "Confidence is a skill." Love it
you inspired many people who watched your videos. honestly, at this time I feel like more tough to consider what I am good at, what's skill that I had.
Thank you . God bless you ❤️❤️❤️
BRAVO! I really appreciate you sharing your testimony, Aileen. Perfect timing! Here's to all life can be...the sky's the limit! XO
Thankyou 🙏
omg, i've been thinking about this theme for the last week, and suddenly you upload this video!!!
thank you so much!! ❤❤❤
miss marsie 💕💕
I will definitely refer back to this video when I'm feeling stuck!! great job!
I love your videos so inspirational!
Omg I love that there are places that give awards for outstanding ensemble member! Ensemble performers are criminally underappreciated.
Thanks Aileen.
thank you so much for being here 🥰
I love how positive and uplifting your channel is. 😊
Thankyou so much Aileen!!
I've been watching a marathon of your videos because I'm currently struggling with anxiety and confidence etc and so this really helps and thanks so much for your awesome tips♡
that casino chip analogy really resinated with me, great stuff
Thanks Aileen. i really enjoyed hearing your story, i can relate to being shy as a child and i can't say that i have overcome that shyness yet, but i am grateful for the many small wins (and a few rather big ones too) in my life 😉thank you for sharing this...a reminder to continue to work on myself and keep practicing to get better at this content creator business 😋

💞
I literally cried like a baby wayching this video. I've been struggling with the self steem and self confidence topic for so long, that sometimes feels normal to me to hold back on stuff i'd really like to try. I am so grateful for finding this channel.

Hehe thank you, and yes it’s true! Practice helps you improve 🤗
Your contents are so crisp and simple and the way you present them is so beautiful... Thank you for inspiring always, its really helping!!
thank you so much for this vid! ive been in rough days and been strugling with insecurity and my lack of confidence, and i found this vid to be so inspiring!
Thanks!
Seeing this video made me so happy Lavendaire! You are truly an inspiration 💗
Leena Bheekhun I'm so happy to hear that!! 😽✨✨
I really need a small win :/
I like your niche. I’m actually blogging for almost the same niche and has been unsure of it but everytime I watch you, it’s like telling me that it will somehow work.
Keep growing your confidence! You're doing a wonderful thing and helping to make a positive impact in my life, as well as others ❤️🙏
+Katelin Jenkins 💕💕 thank you
Thank you so much for this.
Your story with music is impressive and inspiring ! I listened to your old covers, you have a sweet voice. Really nice to hear you sing.
I think it was a great feeling for all =D
you made a big change on myself, thank you so much
❤️Thank you Aileen, every time I seat to eat my food, I feed my mind with your positive messages, my story opposite I was strong and bold, fearless girl since childhood after abusive 4yrs relationship I became insecure, unhappy, negative, fearful all the bad things.
I listen to you every morning. You’re such a beautiful person inside and out. ❤️
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. You don't know how much it means to someone badly needed those advise. All the love from the Philippines! ❤
wishing you the best!!
You just gave me confidence and a chance to introspect about my small wins thanks :)
I Cant imagine not having to watch this channel .. I found it pretty late but it did help me thru my ""phase""
Very relatable and authentic. Thanks for opening up!
Thank you for this video! The last days were frustrating for me. I felt defeated because I made some mistakes at work although I tried so hard. In a few days I am going to have my last exam. And I felt so bad about it. But now I dare to believe again in my self. Thank you very much. I love your videos!
i love that this storytime is positive. its good to see one of those
I enjoy watching your videos very much! You are one of the most inspirational person that I have met on UA-cam,or probably the most inspirational one I know.Thank you!!
