Really appreciate George’s lead guitar playing after this. Beautiful, succinct ornamentation, just right.

This is a great breakdown of the parts, which George and John ultimately sound like one big guitar.
John's rhythm really makes the song.
And to think... George didn’t have anyone teaching him this technique.
Stephen Smith he had a few guitar lessons.
Stephen Smith You're right, sometime he teach John and Paul how to play technique
Stephen Smith Not only that; he probably came up with the lead guitar part on the first day he heard it, in the studio when they recommend it - as Brian Epstein was notoriously stingy regarding time spent in the studio.
Oh, and if they all had formal lessons, then I don't think George and Paul would have had to traipse across town in search of the ever illusive B7th chord.
Nor would Paul and George have had to teach John how to play guitar chords, rather than the banjo (uke?) Ones he was using when he met them.
Agnostic monk, the Beatles were and taught idiot. MORON.
To be fair, this isn’t hard to play at all.

Thanks!! And at 4:51 is George's guitar over dub with hand claps
Thank you, John.
Gingerbread King Why do I see you everywhere?
@@ablyhouseisolated why john plays the grestch guitar? Lol

George Overdub And Clap: 4:51
Man you gotta love John's rythym, they really sound like ONE guitar together, so much chemistry. Nice one!
Hah I imagine George's head on this guy, because George used to wear a Lot of turtle necks... And same body shape as him too.
classic rock guitar high up on the body too
theo worthington but George died of lung cancer
@@johnlemon8689 :(
@@johnlemon8689 😔
All of the Beatles used to wear turtle necks, tho… Not just George.
Great cover, George was a very innovative guitarist!
While playing John’s rhythm guitar he even had that classic bounce in his knees
Absolutely flawless. Deserves so many more views !
George's guitar is beautiful
You mean the gretsch country gentlemen
Hearing isolated tracks is so helpful in learning beatles songs
Yes it is
1:52 How did you do that upset?
Looks like bending the 5th on the g and b 3 times and then grabbing the 3rd on the g and b
@@tiggasgaminghd4992 thanks man!!
This blends into the mix so well.
This is flat out fantastic! Kudos!
Great job dissecting all the parts like that!
you deserve more views !! nice work
the rhythm guitar of John lennon, Is like 2019 guitar rhythm LOL
well more like modern rhythm guitar is heavily influenced by john lennon
I wish
Ok thanks ,stay with your great covers !
Fantastic!
Very helpful,you're the best!
Simple, yet marvelous at the same time!
Thanks! I will play this on valentines day LOOL!
That was so good I wanna hold *both* your hands!😄
Superb video.
Great job. I love it!
terrific!
Out right amazing, to me its mind boggling, writing music for Bass and Rythm and Lead guitar
perfeito - adorei - obrigado -vittola do Brasil
Genius guys!
*George was really special man❤️😔*
Dude, this is fucking beautiful. Thank you~
That’s first guitars tone 🤩
It was hard and expensive to grt the same kind of guitars The Beatles played? I really enjoy your videos, a perfect sunday at home!
They are not cheap!
How did you do that part
2:07
For what i can tell is a bend followed by open strings and hammer ons and pull ofs
Johns part isn't how john played it. But it still sounds good.
We reuploaded this recently and should be more accurate and sound better
Love the Beatles
PLEASE DO ONE FOR PLEASE PLEASE ME
YES!
Yeah, Please please me! :D
I enjoy your covers ,Ialso play 6122 gretsch your tone is great ! What is your amp and set up
Oh cool and thank you! I have flat wound strings, Vox AC on it's cleanest setting, Sennheiser e609 into a Tascam M520, into Logic X
♥️
John does the power chords at the beginning... 8th fret. Watch him
what is the 2nd guitar that he uses?
I think the 4th note on the intro is originally played on two strings
Everybody makes the same mistake, treating George's overdub track as the primary lead guitar, and it wasn't meant to be......listen to the 1963 mono mix (and the 1963 stereo mix if you have it.....) and watch the ed sullivan performances. That was George's lead part, not this. In 1966 Parlophone ordered a new stereo mix of this song, since they were apparently unaware of the 1963 mix. That mix inetvertently put the overdub out front while completely burying the proper George part. Listen to the original single. Watch the Sullivan footage. Come back and tell us what you learned. Otherwise, great job, keep it up.
jerome3004 - The way George plays it live on Ed Sullivan is not the way he played it on the recording and is not 'the george' part. I included the way George plays it on Ed Sullivan for the final verses. The overdub is on the mono and stereo mix. Listen to the out takes and you can hear George does not play the chromatic riff from D to E. It was always an overdub until they played live
No need to be so condescending... Listen to this one band - they're called the Beatles, they have a cool message - and tell us what you learned.
Good
What are the last two chords at 2:16 before the ending?
Curtindo na Amazônia 2018.
I am just learning guitar now at a fairly late stage of life. I don’t know how George did it. It’s all I can do to NOT strum along constantly with this one!
How come he plays the middle 8 of the first fret live re: Ed Sullivan
i BET you this is the guy from the group "the fab four" they are PHENOMENAL!!!
How did you figure this out?
Even the cameraman likes it cos the camera is bobbin' up and down.
What guitars are each one?
And sing at the same time!
can you please share the tabs? :D

Is there a tab for this
Best music app or software to isolate
different instruments within a song:
(1) Izotope's RX
(2) ADX Trax Pro 3
P.S. Someone said that there is no software for
isolating different instruments
within a song. You can reduce some
areas of the frequency spectrum using EQ.
The only way to have the instruments in a
song separated out is to
obtain the original multi-track stems.
Is this true? Anyone? Thanks.
Very good but in Lennon's part the Bm7 should be a B7 (major).
@Luke Hopkins that's what I said!!!
Did u got the tab?
Tutorial?
There are some incorrections with johns lead guitar...some subtle chord changes that are wrong...but it still sounds the same!
2:26
George's first note is E (2nd fret D string) not C...
What is the George's guitar brand? Is it Gretcsh? Nice body and I think it's ambidextrous (it means that you can use it right-or-left handed).
What is the name of the Jhon Guitar (In this video) 2:28
It is a Gretsch Duo Jet and it's one of my George guitars. George had it from Please Please Me up until they recorded She Loves You. The black and white was closer to the Rick 325 than anything else I had.
Ably House Thank you. You're really good with the guitar! Did you do any school?
Stefano Montovert - Thanks, the school of George Harrison and Angus Young. I have always enjoyed learning note for note from the greats
Can i see the tab of john lennon's part?
feels bred man - I dont have one, sorry. There’s a newer version of this cover with the 325 though
It’s George!!!!!!!!!🥴
The 3rd Bit John Plays that live on ED. Sullivan The end of Guitar 2 or 1 is wrong the last three notes
This sounds exactly like how it was on the Ed Sullivan show
Almost a reggea
Is that second guitar a Gretch Rockjet???, the first guitar Is a Country Gentleman.
Yes, that's a Jet used to show John's rhythm part. I don't remember John ever playing a Jet for real though.
Please strawberry fields
I didnt know john and george played different chords during the bridge.
How do you play this D chord in the verse? 0:10
Its like a un barred barre chord if that makes sense
just play it with less of your index
@@Vultraz999 thx
If you don't hop around while playing the guitar... You're not part of the beatles, this guy just proved he's part of them LOL
He played Georges to fast and got some parts wrong so its good he redid it
I feel like you are a better George than a John
Thanks, there's a newer video in the description, I play the Rick 325 which helps
Nice I checked it out and it sounds just like the real Beatles and it it is the c58 not the c64, cool keep up the good work
Perhaps you should teach like Eric Blackmon!!
I suspect George Martin had alot to do with George Harrison's arrangement on this and other early songs.
Do not underestimate the Beatles, they pushed the envelope on everything even George Martin. They had their own fresh ideas. Nobody could make them do what they didn't want to do.
Armando Ramos exactly. People are getting this kind of idea these days that George Martin was the ultimate brain of the Beatles, but this was not the case
mystique0417 No way.
Without George Harrison, The Beatles wouldn't be anything special.
Thats not true
@@coitusinterruptus4226 His melodies made the songs what they were. He added alternative chords and rhythms that were never there before
Yeah, that explains why neither Paul or John had successful solo careers. Oh, wait...
@@kai_johnsonn Lennon and especially McCartney are far more talented and I think also without George Harrison they would have had an opportunity to show that.
@@c.a.t.732 Well Georges solo career was better than Johns.
Why not on the j160E
I dont have one!
@@AblyHouse You should probably get a J160E (Epiphone copy) cause it'll get us that Original sound.
CircuitsAndStrings 2 Mr Stern - I have one of those and choose not to use it for the channel anymore. They changed the bracing in the newer ones and it doesnt have the same sound
@@AblyHouse Why did they change the bracing of the Guitar? You could play Diana Krall's Music on it instead since her Husband has that Guitar.
@@AblyHouse The bracing is updated but the sound is still the same, listen to this:ua-cam.com/video/otrH5hxJ2GE/v-deo.html
Beatles score tab and ably house never tell u what amp settings
Actually we do all the time and have videos dedicated to the subject. I use a VoxAc30 with master at 10 and the overdrive at 1-2 to get it at a good volume going into the mic. Its nothing more than that. The tone cut is usually around the middle but I lean towards darker to avoid harsh overtones
Wasn’t Paul playing guitar too
He plays the bass
Share the tabs please
Try slowing the video down. I didn't read or make tabs for this
Ably House Isolated This George solo is beautiful.
Use your ears bro
do you really need tabs for this cardboard box of a song
I made a tab of this video! Whenever you want, call me.
do some Led Zeppelin
I love Goreges guitar on Ed svvllvn show
You show the 2 ways that george play this song, first the studio version and in the end of the george part you make 2 times george way to play in live shows, in the end of the video you made a part that Paul make in the bass, in studio, but in a live show not was good to hear this riff so george start to do the bass begin of the riff in his guitar.
Some shows like ed sullivan jonh help this loved riff between the phases of the first part doing thum-thum-thum thum thum, in his guitar without get out of the base of this perfect song.
The original riff was actually an overdub, on either a guitar or a bass.
Get the sounds/compression/RV right. This sounds like background to a Holiday Inn restaurant circa 1975....
George had great taste. Let's not forget Paula and Ringo on this one. They're really in a groove all song long.
George's work was easy if we compare with John, Paul and Ringo.
Ich love, d-c#-d#e
A, as we call it, naive song
They had to teach Faul to play
So you are one of those wacko "Paul is Dead" freaks. You're totally 100% wrong. That was a bad publicity stunt .
Do a tutorial video of. Lead guitar in beatles songs pls
Too hard!!!! 😂
By trying to cover up the Electromatic logo on your Jet you've made it look worse because it's noticeable. I don't see the point in doing that personally. It is what it is.
It really hurts my brain that you aren’t following the correct structure of the actual song...
newer version on here
