- V for Victory my DCS Mosquito campaign is coming soon, so I thought I'd share a few thoughts about your navigator you'll be flying with, and all the things he'll do to help you succeed with the missions.

0:43 Features
5:49 What he'll not do
6:34 Multicrew version

Fully agree regarding your comments at 6:36 . The difference in triggers and actions available in multi-player vs single-player is immense. You just cannot do things in multi-player that you can in single-player. I wish more people would realize this.
While I do understand it, I still find it incredibly sad that especially in airframes like the F-14 and Mossie, everyone only does singleplayer campaigns. I'd rather have maybe less complex campaigns that can be flown in multicrew.
@@Wolfhound_81 give it a go! It’s not really my cup of tea, but if you ever want to try and get into it we can always offer advice!
What you did with the navigator's dialogue is brilliant. I wasn't even going to get the Mossie but I think I have to get it now just to play your campaign. I am an immersion nut and you sir are the king of immersion!
Thank you so much!
I can’t wait for this one, thank you for all the hard work your campaigns bring DCS to life for me
I’m glad you like them, thanks for the kind words.
Lovely stuff! If this is half as good as Speed & Angels I'll be delighted. The Mossie is an absolutely underappreciated gem in DCS.
but not for long ;)
Absolutely amazing! Also, thanks for involving us Welsh folks in your campaign, we are woefully under represented in video games! Diolch yn fawr!
Looking forward to this! Having a scripted, fully voice acted Navigator will be awesome! It almost gives me 633 Squadron meets Flight of the Intruder vibes. :)
I am really looking forward to this campain. All your campains are so immersive in combination with VR, I am really enjoying to experience the things I have read so much about in my childhood. The only pain is working the radios in the back, I use the active pause for this, which is not an option when bandits are around. When I started to fly, there was not GPS available in small planes, so we navigated exactly like this. Never whould have thought, I would need this skill once again and I enjoy it immensly.
You won’t have to bother with the back radio anywhere near enemy territory.
Oh man I can’t wait!!! Thanks as always for the incredibly hard work.. the mark of a pro is making something incredibly difficult look seamless.
Well done, Reflected! This promises to be an great addition to the WWII content.
The Mossie campaign will be a must have for me. I invested in this module, but we not had much playtime with it do to content. This will make a huge difference! I'll be looking for it and thank you for your work.
Can't wait for this. Campaign for the Mosquito is sorely needed. And of course, we already know it'll be a masterpiece as usual haha.
Never mind the small minded people Reflected, they are just jealous of your awesome skills and talent not to mention hundreds of hours of research and testing in making these campaigns and missions.
Unfortunately the world has too many people with small minds. Loving your work.
That scene at 7:30 where the wingman returns to base for seemingly fabricated reasons really reminds me of a similar event in Dave MacIntosh's "Terror in the Starboard Seat" book.
Regarding the reference to Dave "Dye" Williams... the only one I could think of is RCAF Mossie pilot David "Blackie" Williams. I could be wrong though. :)
Never heard about him, that scene was inspired by Fitz in Piece of Cake :)
Day 1 buy for me, your campaigns are fantastic! Top notch work
Wow, thanks for sharing. This will be such an imersive campaign as all your other WWII campaigns. Love to be able to fly now one with having someone with me in the cockpit. Thousand thanks for all your efforts on this👍
It amazes me the way you've made stuff like AI RIO/navigators and cutscenes work!
Incredible, What you did is outstanding! It should be a normal feature for the DCS Mosquito.
Another wonderful video! Cannot thank you enough for the continued hard work and awesome quality. It is going to be great fun and exciting campaign. 👋👍
Loving this campaign, cannot wait for it. Will admit to being a little concerned about having to try and fly her, while also operating a weird radio unit behind my head. I can hardly keep her straight and level as it is, let alone while trying to accomplish another task.
As I said you won’t have to operate it too often. ;)
This looks great! I hope Eagle Dynamics can make it easier to program the radio in the back for missions in the future. It's a big feature of the Mosquito.
It doesn't bother me that much that it's 'single player only' as it is more immersive and I plan on doing this in VR.
I felt slightly nervous seeing the target in the distance, ready to drop the bombs at low altitude. They must have had nerves of steel back then!
'Dai' and 'Dewi' is the Welsh equivalent of 'David.' In the subtitles it said 'Di' though. I'm not sure if this is deliberate or not. My mother grew up speaking Welsh and English is her second language. I've also picked up her habits of pronouncing English words the wrong way. Such as Pedestrian and Windscreen. I say Peda-strain and Window Screen lol.
There was a Welsh philosopher called David Williams.
Oh thanks, I’ll fix the subtitles :)
looks amazing, Not bought the Mozzie yet but this might well just prompt me. love to see a AH64 training campaign in the future :)
Wow you really work hard at this. I Think you could film this and have a Movie to watch. It's immersion is of the highest level I have ever seen. Fine Craftsmanship from the Imagination of a Creator of True Life Missions Presented in a Movie set ready for us to live in and enjoy. Thank You.
Thanks, hopefully the campaign will feel like living through a movie, hopefully a historical one directed by Spielberg and Tom Hanks :)
Immersion is a huge factor in my enjoyment of media. As such, content like yours is a godsend for me. Also, I got a chuckle from 5:08. That ATC is going to have some stern words for you after you land back at base.
Haha, yes that’s the built-in, stock DCS ATC.
Nice man! I have the Mosquito and nowhere to go. This will help a lot to relearn the Mossie and have fun with it.
Looking forward to this. Might be my first DCS campaign!
I'm excited for your campaign Reflected
Looking forward to this. About time the mossie got some love. Feels like it was abandoned by ED as soon as it was released
This is too cool!
Perfect! I'm on the cruise back from Speed and Angels so I ready to go!
Great work Reflected! Can’t wait!
Looks like an other master piece. I will repeat myself but, the amount of work, and all the little detail you add to each new campaign, like the possibility to deviate, and the navigator take it to count, is truely astonishing!!
I will always buy your campaigns with my eyes closed. There are all brilliant piece of work, and this one is just an other perfect example.
Thank you so much for keeping us, dcs single player so busy 🤣
I can't wait to see what are your futur project... F4/F4u 😍? 😜
Thank you so much for all you've done for the DCS community. ED dev really are lucky to have guys like you to put their product in such a good light.
Thanks man, I appreciate the support. I can’t wait to work with the F4U, but we need a lot of stuff to make that happen.
D Williams is also a protagonist in the millennium book series of Ken Follett.
I love the look of that. I'm going to need to learn to fly the aircraft properly now so that I can give this a go :)
Thanks! Check out my tutorial series, they have everything you need to know to play this campaign.
O boiiii loooks like I need a mosquito so I can play this :)
Looks and sounds fantastic. Thank you.
Great work. Have bought it. This will be my Easter fun.
Have fun! :)
I hope this one is also VR friendly. I'll buy it mind you, I bought all the other WW campaigns and liked them, even those that were difficult for VR due to frame rate issues. But I don't expect 48 B-17s dumping bombs in this campaign. Keep up the good work and ignore the haters.
Yeah no B-17s here
This looks like great fun! Thanks.
Looks brilliant.
These AI Navigator base functions are awesome.. if we could only use that for our own custom missions XD
Really looking forward to the release of this campaign, it's looking brilliant! Slightly off topic, but how/where did you find the callsigns used by each squadron in your campaigns (specifically 'Beware! Beware!') -- I've done a fair bit of research on the topic, but have a big hole for the period of 1941-1943 and was wondering whether you'd be happy to divulge any of your secrets? Anyway, I eagerly await release day for what I'm sure will be another corker of a campaign!
Fortunately there are a lot of RAF combat reports available on the internet, so you can easily find the callsigns. For each mission of Beware Beware I had a handful of reports as well as the squadron diary for the day, so that's how I reconstructed the events (same for 'Wolfpack')
Yeah "autopilot" will help a lot for radio setup. I am looking forward, It has been more than year.
Fingers crossed

I just love Ken Follets Century Trilogy.
Can´t wait for the Mossie Campaign, will be a day one purchase for me.
Keep up the great work on your campaigns and UA-cam videos!
8:21 is a reference to Earl Fitzherbert, right?
Yes it’s an ‘hommage’ to Follet, I loved the trilogy too :)
@@ReflectedSimulations will definetly keep my eyes and ears open for more references about Fitz and other characters of the books:)
Nice! Will check it out :) will the mossie get pilot models in the cockpit? I love to switch these on often.
Haha. I love it
As soon as it comes out I'l have to get the mossy... Love your work buddy thanks! I don't have the 109, when I'l get it I'l take the campaign too for sure, is it from you aswell? Greetings from France, almost on the normandy map (britanny)!
Kenavo! :) Yes, that’s from me too. Vive la Bretagne!
@@ReflectedSimulations whaaat? ma doué beniget! Did you look it up or did you really know that? Either way it made my day brother!
A vechal mon ami!

We need the level autopilot if we're going to fly pathfinder missions using the nav aids.
Well, you’ll need to fly along an arc so a level autopilot won’t help you there

Yes, good ears! It's because he is a Kiwi :)
This looks interesting, I have the Mossie, but only flew it a few times, it didn't seem like there was much support, so I haven't bothered. With the new map and with your campaign, there is new life for the Mosquito franchise. I want to buy it, but i want a way to turn off the chit chat, except for important instructions for the pilot, I get annoyed easily with ridiculous chit chat that does not get me immersed ( I get it with the idea, but it does turn me off.
Sorry, I don't offer alternate versions of my campaigns, as it quickly gets out of hand and I end up maintaining 60 missions instead of 12. Also, I'm pretty sure Mossie crews didn't sit in complete silence for hours :)
Oh no! You made the same mistake Heatblur did with Jester. I can hear his bedroom reflecting around him! You HAVE to use a headset mic to record these parts!
Well, VOs were recorded by community members and not everyone has studio mics…I don’t….
@@ReflectedSimulations Again, you don't want studio mics. You want a good headset mic with off-axis rejection, so we don't hear his room reflections. (You also want to put something on the walls of the room so they won't be reflective.)
@@AdmiralQuality AGAIN not everyone that is doing these voice overs, can afford to do what you are saying needs done.
@@AdmiralQuality I mean you're not wrong, that reverb is hard to handle when adding effects. But hey, I'd rather have a more authentic sounding community member sounding reverby, than a professional voice actor with a thousand dollar mic who has no idea about flying. I've tried to go that way, but you really need to be into flying to knock out good voice overs. And good quality or not, I'm still more than grateful to the community for helping me turning these ideas into (virtual) reality.
@@ReflectedSimulations Where did I say you needed a thousand dollar mic? LOL! Any cheap gaming headset mic would sound more authentic and reject background sound better than a fixed position one.
Sorry, but sound is my life and this is a pet peeve I keep getting disappointed on.
