Hi Lizzy - just a quick note on the sofa - if you and friends wear a lot of jeans then definitely get it scotch guarded! We did our sofa but didn't bother doing the armchair and we've ended up having to have it professionally cleaned due to dye transfer from jeans!!!
I was just thinking about your move last year and what a difficult time it was for you but here you are moving again but in a happier place (emotionally). How things can change so quickly even though at times of hardship it feels like it never will end. So happy for you.
Hi Lizzy :) would love to see your take on a capsule wardrobe that’s not really basic - I’m about to move to France for a year and I can only take what fits in a suitcase, but I’m desperate to still keep some personality in it :P excited to see your new apartment x
Hi Lizzie I love your LA print! I'd suggest given its large size you think about using acrylic rather than glass to glaze it - will be a lot lighter and remove risk of really damaging the print if the glass breaks. If you want proper museum grade acrylic which will help protect the print from UV light/fading I'd suggest Tru-Vue Optium acrylic or Conservation Clear. I'd search for framers in London who work to museum/conservation standards if you want a really high quality work and materials that will protect your artwork long term and not damage it (like a lot of inappropriate or poor quality framing can). I'm a professional art conservator and damage to artworks from poor framing is a problem I see all too often unfortunately!
Lizzy! I love you and your transparency in your vlogs, even though they give me a bit of guilt for not working as much as I could in my time off of work! I love the sofa and swatches, I think they match you perfectly! So excited to see your new place and see it all captured on film because I know you will do it in a perfectly effortless way! Hope you’re doing well. X
I LOVE to hear that you’re enjoying vlogging right now! Also, I really loved seeing how you do your makeup in your everyday setting; same with the unboxing. It feels organic to your life. Also, great choice on the sofa!😄
Hi Lizzy! I think that’s a great color for your sofa. I have a similar color one from West Elm and it’s great because in some lighting it’s more taupe and others it’s more grey so it’s versatile. Throw pillows can also change the way the color comes across. So I think you will be happy with your choice because you can play around with it while still having a classic color! 🖤
ahhhh yes thank you so much!! I am wanting to try having no cushions for a bit but love the idea that I can get some and make it feel fresh after a few months, or even seasonally xxx
I'd love to see a video on the story behind all of your artwork! I know you've mentioned a few of the stories in your vlogs but there are a lot of pieces I'm still wondering about :)
Borat is the funniest film i have ever watched,i watched it with my 2 sons and they both do Borat impressions so well and it always makes me howl xxxlove your vlogs as ALWAYS Lizzy xxx
OK I AM PASSIONATE ABOUT FRAMING. It's makes things look so finished! Some framing places will let you just buy the custom mat from them (you can get a frame from IKEA or somewhere else online if you're looking for something pretty standard), but I always use Etsy! You can order custom mats and it's usually soo much cheaper.
I feel like you often do some kind of unboxing in your vlogs. Maybe you could create a setup in your new flat where you can do that properly. For example you sit on your sofa and film with a tripod. I think it would make that part of the vlog much more asthetic and easier to show the new stuff
Haven't used a scalp scrub but I love the BIG shampoo from Lush and that's pretty much the same! Feels strange at first but once you get used to it it's really quite nice. Loving the vlogs!
I always buy a large empty frame and get a personalised mount cut to go in it. Saves you so much money and I prefer things framed with a mount. For something a similar size to yours, I paid 30 for the frame and 15 for the mount (and that is in France where typically these kind of banal things are more expensive!)
Hi Lizzy, Frame factory in highbury & Islington are great for custom frames and glass. V. Good quality and great customer service in my experience. Leonard Villa on Caledionian Rd are also a highly recommended framers. Xx
If you ever paint any walls in your new place, please vlog it because I would genuinely watch you watching paint dry! Your videos are my favourite by far, I always feel like I'm catching up with a dear friend. ❤
Hi Lizzy! Loving your videos and blog! I adore perfume but I’ve been in a bit of a rut buying the same ones. I love fresh, light and feminine fragrances and would really love to hear what perfumes you gravitate towards to so I can find something new. Enjoy your weekend! Love Sarah xxx
I used a fantastic place right across from Victoria Station but cannot remember the name! They were excellent and much more affordable than most. Maybe head up there and look for the long stretch of the store right across from the station.
Yes I really want to work on a big video about film - the place in Leeds where I buy my cameras from has offered to help me to so I just need to find the time to go up north xxx
Ah so annoying about your new trainers! I love the style though. Good news about your new sofa! Glad you found one that you like. I've been looking for a vintage designer one for months and months but the ones I like are always out of my budget! I'm just going to save up and buy one I love instead of settling (which is my motto for clothing as well, go figure) I would shop around for a framer. I recently had a very large, expensive (for me) piece of artwork framed and took it to get quotes from different places. Talking to the framer and seeing what they recommended vs others definitely helped make my decision on who to trust with it! Because it was pricey I didn't go with the cheapest framing option out of the three, but with the one I felt most confident that could do the job right. That said, there are some inexpensive places that will do a good job, that local artists trust. I know of one in Hackney that I've had stuff done for a reasonable price for glass, custom mat (Ray's Glass & Frames on Hackney Rd) but I'm sure there must be some in west London as well. I wouldn't want to trek across the city with a large frame. If you know of any artists in the area maybe ask them for a recommendation. xxx
I know!! Had to laugh when I realised cos I couldn’t believe it. Ahhh thank you so much - there is one I have used in Notting hill before it’s such SO expensive in West London! Xxx
Hi Lizzy - how did the New Balance size? I’ve been after some for so long but not near any stores that stock them unfortunately. Hope they sorted you a pair quickly! X
The sofas are quite nice, I hope you have had the chance to try them out at the showroom to see if they are comfortable. Love the vlogs, they are always so relaxing to watch, also love the music you put in your videos.
Hi Lizzy, I get all my art framed in a small shop in Lewisham. They do a great job, have a lot of choices and you can pick it up about 2 weeks later. Oh and they are cheap! Got an A1-ish framed for about £50. Let me know if you want their details!
Hi Lizzy, I know you have mentioned in your vlog a while ago but would love to know the brand of your new signet ring with diamonds on the side.. Thank you!
mmh could you kindly explain to me the necessity of framing expensively? why not go buy a decent frame and voila, just place the print into it, you have a frame now :) ALSO: I'm curious, in your mail to the sneaker shop, did you mention your job/blog/youtube channel to them or did you leave that info out? thanks love xoxo
ecem ali professional framing lasts forever, and keeps the image or print from sun damage, warping, etc. Almost all frames you buy yourself have cheap glass and no protection.
shouldn't be a standard procedure for a shop to check the shoes before releasing them? same size, L&R, color...that feeling when you're so excited to wear your new kicks but.....
Love everything about you and your sense of life! Can you spell the necklace your wearing (la eqaw) ? How do you find it? I recommend this book for you to read A Severe Mercy! Life changer.
you would know if you needed scalp scrub. lol. I'm a big fan of it b/c I have a problematic scalp, but it sounds like you don't. I also think with really thick hair and when you can't wash your hair as often b/c it will get too dry, you're more likely to have scalp issues.
Ahh no sorry if it wasn't clear, we can get frames really cheap here too but I mean if you take something to a framers and have one made. When it's a big print just the size of glass they use alone makes it really expensive. It's cheaper in the North though (like everything else) xxx
yes I am! It's worth it for the gym at White City which is amazing, and if you travel a lot good to know there is always somewhere you can nip into if you need to. Other than that, no I don't think it is - the food isn't amazing and they're always pretty busy! xxx
Hi Lizzy - just a quick note on the sofa - if you and friends wear a lot of jeans then definitely get it scotch guarded! We did our sofa but didn't bother doing the armchair and we've ended up having to have it professionally cleaned due to dye transfer from jeans!!!
Ahhh thanks so much for this! xx

ahh thank you so much - I actually want to do a video about this and how different things feel this time around.
Definitely the first sofa you put a picture of! It’s gorgeous!

Old Winton for the win for sure! Cannot wait for more home related content and moving vlogs!
I LOVE to hear that you’re enjoying vlogging right now! Also, I really loved seeing how you do your makeup in your everyday setting; same with the unboxing. It feels organic to your life. Also, great choice on the sofa!😄
Absolutely love your recent vlogs! Can't wait to see more moving/apartment content! And of course your Copenhagen blog post!

Yes of course, will make sure it's a little less slap dash! xx
Lizzy Hadfield cool, i am looking forward to it 😊😊
Haven't used a scalp scrub but I love the BIG shampoo from Lush and that's pretty much the same! Feels strange at first but once you get used to it it's really quite nice. Loving the vlogs!
Would you ever print one of your own photos to frame for your new place? Talk about personal :)
yesss I just have no idea which one to choose!
I was doing a photo course and at the end of it we got one of our own favorite photos printed in a really big size, LOVE having it on my wall!
I always buy a large empty frame and get a personalised mount cut to go in it. Saves you so much money and I prefer things framed with a mount. For something a similar size to yours, I paid 30 for the frame and 15 for the mount (and that is in France where typically these kind of banal things are more expensive!)
Using a scalpscrub is really, really good! Its like a detox, and brings hair back to life❤️
will deffo give it a go! xxx
Lizzy Hadfield the one from IGK is my fave
Can’t wait to see your new flat!!!
Hi Lizzy,
Frame factory in highbury & Islington are great for custom frames and glass. V. Good quality and great customer service in my experience.

Thank you!!! xxx
The second sofa choice was classic with a touch of feminine, really loved it!
Love the vibe of this vlog !!!!!
thank youuuu xxx

Love you & Dean together!

Really loved this and the music 👌🏼
Loved this week's vlog! Also really liked the 1st couch option! 😍
Thank youuuuu xxx
The first one is a very nice sofa Lizzy!
Lizzy why don't you use your own pictures? You have so many fantastic photos that you shot on film. Those would really have a special meaning ;)
I definitely need to do this!! Maybe a gallery wall of all my favourites - just need to work out what my favourites are! xxx
I used a fantastic place right across from Victoria Station but cannot remember the name! They were excellent and much more affordable than most. Maybe head up there and look for the long stretch of the store right across from the station.
Dean is so interesting! You two are fun :)
would you ever do a video purely on how you scan your film from negatives to your computer? XX
Yes I really want to work on a big video about film - the place in Leeds where I buy my cameras from has offered to help me to so I just need to find the time to go up north xxx
souunds awesome!
Please so a denim collection video, if you have the time. Would be so interesting and long probably xD and a appartement tour course.
I was waiting for this Sunday video 🤗 Getting a drink and sitting back!
Hope you enjoyed! xxx
Don’t want to sound annoying but would you consider wiping your mirror when you move?

Please do a side channel where you just vlog yourself rewatching Buffy for the 500th time. 😂😂
HahahahahHa oh my god I think that might be my destiny!!

I love the swatch next to the dark grey. I don’t think you should go to light on the sofa and yes scotch guard is the correct term.
The scrub would be excellent to remove product buildup
ohh will give it a go for sure! xxx
Hi Lizzy - how did the New Balance size? I’ve been after some for so long but not near any stores that stock them unfortunately. Hope they sorted you a pair quickly! X
I’m dying for an update on the shoes lol? Also how would you rate the fit? Too narrow, just right, or okay for wide feet?
So far I’m still waiting for a reply! I think they’re pretty average in terms of width - hoping they’re comfy but obviously haven’t yet worn them 😂
Here's hoping you're able to get a reply and get a left and a right shoe.
The sofas are quite nice, I hope you have had the chance to try them out at the showroom to see if they are comfortable. Love the vlogs, they are always so relaxing to watch, also love the music you put in your videos.
going to the showroom again today!! xx
I like sofa #2 Kentwell and would you mind sharing the scanner you are using at the end of the vid (model and brand). Thanks you :-)
Hi Lizzy, I get all my art framed in a small shop in Lewisham. They do a great job, have a lot of choices and you can pick it up about 2 weeks later. Oh and they are cheap! Got an A1-ish framed for about £50. Let me know if you want their details!
Ahhhh amazing!!! Yes can you let me know the name? Thank you!
I just dropped you a DM on Insta! Enjoy the home shopping/decorating!

As soon as you put the sneakers on the table I thought something was off. 😊
We love dean 💕💕🤗💓
I love that draw set that's in the vlogs! Do you remember where it's from?
I'm curious to see your new "office" style :-)
New flat tour soon?
100%% will do an empty one when I move in! xx
Hi Lizzy, I know you have mentioned in your vlog a while ago but would love to know the brand of your new signet ring with diamonds on the side.. Thank you!
Ro Copenhagen! xx
mmh could you kindly explain to me the necessity of framing expensively? why not go buy a decent frame and voila, just place the print into it, you have a frame now :) ALSO: I'm curious, in your mail to the sneaker shop, did you mention your job/blog/youtube channel to them or did you leave that info out? thanks love xoxo
ecem ali professional framing lasts forever, and keeps the image or print from sun damage, warping, etc. Almost all frames you buy yourself have cheap glass and no protection.
Have you ever watched Angel? Same same as Buffy but I think, overall, it's a better series.
Sorry, Lizzy, may I ask you what hair brush you use?
A wet brush! It’s so good!
Lizzy Hadfield Thank you so much! x
Love a bit if Buffy.
💜
shouldn't be a standard procedure for a shop to check the shoes before releasing them? same size, L&R, color...that feeling when you're so excited to wear your new kicks but.....
I mean you would think so 😂 service wasn’t the best in there really xx
Love everything about you and your sense of life! Can you spell the necklace your wearing (la eqaw) ? How do you find it? I recommend this book for you to read A Severe Mercy! Life changer.

Where is your necklaces from? So nice! Xx
Reliqua, Missoma, and Astley Clarke xxx
Jealous gallery will recommend a great framers
I love me a scalp scrub!
Hundreds of pounds? I see the frames in the back and you can get those anywhere...? I mean I know I live in the US but still?
Ahh no sorry if it wasn't clear, we can get frames really cheap here too but I mean if you take something to a framers and have one made. When it's a big print just the size of glass they use alone makes it really expensive. It's cheaper in the North though (like everything else) xxx
Miss the short hair and bangs, I think it made you stand out
I am loving having longer hair at the moment but missing my bangs too, hopefully having them cut back this week! xx
damn i just thinkng of your vlog right now ... damn you there .. hahah
