For what it's worth, I have had a Simple Human bin on my wishlist since my husband and I bought our house a few months back, but they cost about $550 for the model I want (+ shipping to Australia). Maybe one day, but we have other priorities at the moment haha!
We have a bin exactly like that!! If I may suggest, you could use it for recycling because at 45 L it's quite big and the trash ends up smelling (at least we don't use it for normal garbage because we're only two people).

Hi, instead of getting a new dining table you could add a good sized rug underneath the table so the table does not look so lonely and the area is clearly defined as a dining area. Just an idea. I enjoyed the long vlog.
The bin is beautiful. I use a carrier bag hanging off a cupboard door 😆I've been 'buying the right bin' for ten years - it just never came along. Bit like blokes really... Looking forward to seeing the new place my love x

Up at 3:30am and happy to see a moving video for my treadmill walk 🤓 Love the couch. PS Towels (same for sheets),,,hotels typically have white towels because they look fresh in any decor and are easy to clean with strong detergent and/or bleach and look good longer than a color that will fade and look worn. I too, always choose white or off-white for the same reason. Plus, I think a white or light neutral seems more luxurious. Probably more thought than ever need be given to towels,,but, whatever 😉
Eden Rivers had a few hours drive to get to mountains at sunrise to see the Aspen’s changing color. Didn’t want to skip my workout so,,,and I’m an early riser anyway so not as bad as it sounds 😉

You can adjust the shelf where your glasses are kept to accommodate the tall glasses. just look under the self. pull out the pins supporting the shelf and replace them a row or two down to adjust the shelf height.
My simple human bin kept breaking at the hinges! 2 replacement lids later, I gave up and bought a cheap plastic Addis one! Fingers crossed you have more luck! Love the new flat!!
I don’t know if it’s already too late but I would love if you could talk about your experience buying furniture sustainably in the sense of buying good furniture that one can keep for a long time, because I’m moving out and don’t want to buy everything from ikea like my friends do and having to throw that away once I move again xx

Maybe it will look different when you get all your furniture in but I noticed in your previous flat that you tend to push everything against the wall, plants, lamps, everything, as if you were preparing to have a hundred people standing about. I know some people take many cautions not to let their subscribers see where they live for safety reasons and I remembered you said you will not show the bilboard that said Leeds to Lnd and it crossed my mind it might be for those reasons. Do you think that people who vlog should be careful about how much of their life they expose? And have you have requests from friends or family not to film them because of all this? Loved the vlog watching it while putting my baby to sleep hehe 😂
