Glad to share your sunshine as it is dark and rainy as we are watching the video.Looks like the tacos were beautiful - not jealous !! Have fun over these next couple of weeks before you go home .See you next week xxxx
Thanks Pauline and Peter! The sun was shining 95% of the time we were here. The little bit of rain we got was fun for us because it was so unusual. I have feeling these next few weeks will fly by! xoxoxo
Daphne, you got me at “smuggled wine!” And the beach train…and your condo….just beautiful! I can’t imagine this experience you and Rick are having. I am living vicariously through you! you’re gonna laugh but I went the Auto ClubTriple AAA in Temecula and got free maps of England and Portugal so I can actually see where u are …using yellow highlighter!! (got my love of maps from my dad…every summer we’d travel across USA to Massachusetts and I was in charge of the maps!)… Are you finding life and luxuries more expensive in United States??How’s the language barrier (if any at all?) Keep safe. Love that the owner chimes in…so cool! Love your smile! Nurse Nancy xo
I love your comments Nurse Nancy! They make me so happy! I knew you would appreciate the wine of it all. :) That is so awesome that you got maps to follow us. xoxoxo What a great memory with your dad! I would say things overall are much more expensive in the states. Just the cost of the Airbnb in the states would have easily been 3x the amount we paid. It will be interesting to compare when we are back home. We have had very little problem here in Portugal with a language barrier. When we have run into a situation, we use Google Translate and it has worked wonders. Thanks for following along, I can't tell you how much joy it brings me!
Be interesting to hear more of your thoughts on eating out and the pace of things in restaurants/service + portions. Plus, how's it with the current anti-tourist protests? Looks like a very nice + peaceful day out.
We have come to fully embraced the pace of restaurants/service. It took us a minute to settle down and really enjoy the company, the food, the atmosphere and relax. We do find that we tend to go up and pay when we are ready, no one ever tries to move us along. Portions are perfect. It will be an interesting comparison when we go back home. :) We haven't experienced any anti-tourist protests or even sentiments yet. It really was a nice day and this is a very peaceful town! Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment!!
I truly enjoy your videos❤. Meanwhile I wonder who watched your belongings when you were in the water? I had such issue last time when I was in Cancun.
Thanks so much! We didn't have anything valuable with us (keys and phone went with us) and thankfully we didn't have any problems. Sorry about your experience in Cancun!
Nice. The beach doesn't look very crowded at all and the choice of seashells is amazing. The food looks good too!
Thank you for sharing your day with us
Thank you for watching Ria!
Looks so lovely! Thanks for sharing with us! I’m looking forward to nomad travels one day!
Thanks Robin!

Another great video. You folks are naturals! I like the amount of details you add, and the fact that you're going to the less touristy areas
Thank you so much!

I would love to pick up shells on that beach!! So fun!
It was so hard to stop ourselves from taking some each time we went. They were so plentiful and pretty!

Is it Ukrainian flag on the beach? Glory to Ukraine!
@@Alex-he1ve Yes. There was visible support for the Ukrainian all over Cabanas.
