The thing I love about Mikey pipes is the fact that he does not film peoples faces. He respects peoples privacy and rights Including the fact that people, some people don’t want to be filmed. And some people may not mind but I am really glad that he doesn’t put his customers on film. Pause keeps his customers confidential that’s cool that is the one thing that I absolutely love.
Why are you giving him a Navien?!! You must not like this neighbor! LOL
I used to cut glass for a living. Just a suggestion, 1 clean score all the way around will always work better than several scores. Not to say several scores doesn't work, obviously, but 1 clean score usually snaps easier, and with a cleaner break. Also, tap right on the score, that will cause the glass to crack the rest of the way through easier, than tapping the glass somewhere else. I hope this will make things a tad smoother in the future. Keep up the great work.
The old man who i apprenticed under long ago used to take other company's magnets and laugh in the same manner. Thanks for the forgotten memory.
Thanks!
“It only goes on one way!” 😂 only problem it was the wrong way all three attempts. Nice add-on sale and upgrade of 2 new t stats. 👍🏻. As far as your neighbor’s boiler mess that he apparently just paid someone to connect that new radiant floor too, I have no words.
Yes Mike in your video you showed them pipes were in the back that had some white insulation around them it looks like some asbestos insulation looks kind of old so be careful check it out before you work on it okay. 😀👍🤟🌟🥇🍺🇺🇸
I hope all the young people working with you stick with the trade. I started in High school and entered the trade in 1984. A good living and something that will always be needed. People will always pay for comfort, If they are cold warm or don't have working plumbing, they will do whatever it takes to get it fixed.
Good teaching technique, Socrates. Peter is doing well, remembering things.
Always enjoyable to watch your videos.
Thanks for another informative video! One question- is draining the boiler as you did the same as draining the mud leg?
I'm wondering about how Dan Holahan talks about needing to have the system pressurized to effectively get the sludge out of the bottom, using the king and return valves...makes sense, although I'm a little unclear on that process, and I also haven't seen anyone mention it in any maintenance videos I've found.
Maybe it's not as necessary as I think?
Thanks Mikey pipes I been watching you since my first day in (e.t.c) ELECTRICAL TRAINING CENTER/hvac-r school.I been with homeserve since graduation. I see your stickers all the time (as I’m sure you see ours) watch all your videos. Thank you for all the information keep it coming. God bless
Mmm 😋 rigatoni looks delicious. More cooking videos need to be added.
Another great job Mike I wish people would take care of their devices considering how needed they are
Hacks brings you stacks
Shouldn't you be happy that people DO NOT take care of their appliances? Then things break and they call you. Money for the repairman.
Mikey Pipes! Dual feature! BOSCH !
I can't believe you stole the guy's magnets off the water heater...lol.
what would happen if someone "took" Mikey's :)
It's the "Art of War" of plumbing move - remove all trace of competition, lol
@@brothersar5957same in the electrical trades 😊
Man that last house!! Love the videos Mikey!
Mikey Pipes you r so fun
Wagos needs to become a channel sponsor!
We've got a couple McLaren's like that around, and orange and a blue one I've seen so far. Definitely the south side of the Denver metro area is a good area for a central vac guy!
Mikey, always warn your men about changing steam site glass with red line… HIGH PRESSURE… very important
Hey mike not sure if you added them or not but did you use friction rings on the gauge glass?
17:48 was hard to watch with the teflon discrepancies but was still good to watch after work!
One question.... are you allergic to pipe joint compound????
all the best mr pipes!!
found a ball valve site glass kit for steam site glass' this season, should be easy to clean ,find out next season.good luck with the pool heater.
@@PipeDoctor plimton and hills in ct.next time im there i'll get kit number.
can we use old radiators for Bosch Greenstar units or we have to change to copper or pex? after seeing your videos on Bosch instead of Navien.
Steam boiler? “ No, gas”! Lol
Come in Mikey what happen with the string and a lighter . Some old school guys I knew would use string to break the tube . Lol
Holy cow Mikey that boiler a disaster but another great job guys I wish you lived in North Carolina by me ......
What brand of sight glass cutter is that
Mikey Pipes!
Back in 1985 we contracted with a general contractor to do a raised ridge dormer ( putting another level to our split level house in Wantagh). The plumbing subcontractor was from hell. heat was to be put in the kitchen continue into the living room, etc but there was a peninsula separating the kitchen from the living room. the plumber forgot and started the heat in the living room. when he was called back he opened an outside wall, put the heating pipe in the outside wall notching 2 2x4 studs more then 1/2 way through. I told the general contractor to stop and have the building inspector re inspect what the plumber did. the inspector got pissed and said the studs had to be replaced and the pipe is not to be in the exterior wall. at the end of the job the plumber had to return and correct a leaking toilet base, a heat pipe in the basement ( the person he sent to fixe the leak was trying to force solder into a water filled heating pipe and I said what the hell do you think your doing? do it the right way. the job was finished in the summer so in the fall when I turned the heat on, we had constant heat on the zone they installed. called them back and their solution was to put a one way valve ( had separate circulators for each zone), but when he left we still had constant heat and I checked the valve and it said " to be installed in a horizontal pipe only" It was installed in a vertical pipe. I finally called my heating company and they laughed and said when they sweated the valve in, the had to open the valve manually and the forgot to turn the screw to allow the valve to work so I was getting hot water going up all the time even when the circulator was off some company
👍
Haaaaaa😂😂😂😂 Your Crazy 😜, Mikey…………..
Teep teep
if that guy really paid someone to do that work to the last boiler you showed, then he deserved what he got,I think he is doing the work himself
👍👍

That car in Uniondale ? Lol drug money or something
@@PipeDoctor why buy that car rather then a better house in better neighborhood.
Jealous???
@@mikeholubek4419 not at all, Just seems stupid to have that car and live in Uniondale and that’s all I guess everybody has their own priorities,
need to flush the boiler.
WTF, someone working on a McLaren in their driveway.
When you don't trust any mechanic...
Come on he was just flossing the wheels
Replace the body
Where did he get the guys working on his water boiler . it's looks like WW III the hackers win the war
I thought white smoke meant a new pope was elected
Gotta laugh at ppl who don’t want to follow rules/codes/common sense with their hackerie
