Second gens have always been my dream truck. And I'm finally getting one at the age 20. Never been so happy.
Love the color scheme, and the hood stack. Regarding the challenges with the smokey passenger window and wiper blade failures, you may consider compound turbos to help with the exhaust heat resulting in lower EGT's, and less smoke to help with your AC and air vents.
Impressive 2nd Gen. 12 valve swaps are nice with a maxed P pump is a great setup. Very cool truck. A classic Cummins for sure!

Not a fan of good stacks or putting anything wider then 12 wides on especially with street tires on but I get why it's all done and either way it's a badass truck wheels and tires are easy to change but to each their own

That 4th gen is a dog but nice looking, my second gen is at 725 and I never burn tire just have to much in it to beat the snot out of it I enjoy getting on it and hurting feelings but I don’t like wasting the tires

Its a 12v swap in, the wiring is probably still from the 24v

around how many miles do these engines start having problems when they are stock??
Around 200,000- 250,000 miles replace injectors that's about it
@@tsimmons1974ts i have 340,000 miles on mine stock,
i would be way more worried about the trans they go at about 250k to 300k for an auto, and a manuals probably get ya 350k to 400k. and the engine can last from 600k to 1million miles depends on how you drive and maintenance ect. injector are really cheap anyways
