The Hummer EV is way more vehicle than I would ever want in my life. That said, I bet it would be fun to drive especially on a road trip if you would rent one for a week.
Tesla actually creates a good EV with good range for the size of the battery. GM just strapped a ton of batteries (literally, 200+kWh of batteries) so it’ll take twice as long to charge this hummer and twice as much energy as a cybertruck to achieve the same range . If tesla wanted to release it ASAP, they would do things like GM did with the hummer.
Looks like the most fun vehicle of the year. This Hummer and IONIC 5 are def my favorites so far. I'm excited to see what else will come out in the next months and I'm glad to see that personal vehicle tech is finally catching up to other modern day electronics. Car infotainments were so outdated for so long. I hope all this tech will trickle down to "poor people market" soon so we can finally get more advanced safety features, android auto and a wireless chargers without selling a kidney.
Although I respect the capabilities of this thing, I think it is totally unnecessary and irresponsible. And I fear the day when I will see one of these coming towards me in my rear view mirror. I wish all this engineering effort would go into producing fun, efficient and affordable electric cars. That being said, great review, as always.

Yes we will be building them for the hummer Evs
It’s funny how Tesla lovers keep justifying why the cyber truck is delayed and it’s coming this year it won’t be here till 2025 at least
I mean they have to cut production for something else to get the truck in. Unless they have another plant dedicated for cyber trucks which I'm pretty sure they do t.
@@playerroku4412 but you can keep postponing it every year if you can’t build it anytime soon they should tell everybody the truth
@@rajasultan7473 yeah idk. I feel like he's more concerned with his "a.i" robot that won't be more than a glorified Alexa in robot form at the moment that's supposed to be ready in a year ish.
Question for you.... can anyone buy the new hummer? How many is GM producing each quarter? So honestly nothing for Tesla or any other competitor to worry about....they arent moving this thing in volume.
@@SDot-dp9xm yes people who pre orders there’s they are already getting them and they will deliver most of them by the end of this year the point is at lest they have started delivery
0:58 Future kids- "Listen to those Glasspacks, man."
Unfortunately it’s electronically limited to 110 mph. That’s because if it drove any faster, anything that it hit would disintegrate.
They should have thought of that before they existed in the same universe as this Hummer.
more like it will disintegrate anything at 80 miles
I love the low key special effects.
This is so cool.
Just glad that some manufactures are keeping the hard buttons.
Doesn't the cybertruck need to exist before something can kill it?
We've already reviewed one
I laughed at the shot of the Hummer EV driving next to the dump truck.
cool truck, misleading title.. can’t kill something that doesn’t exist after all. announced 4 years ago, still not anywhere near production, a true elon masterclass
Already reviewed one

November 2019 debut is 4 years ago? You might have that confused with the rivians those we're first shown off in spring 2018. 🤔
Best intro y'all have done to date I'm dyin🤣
No way this is safe... for other people on the road. It will take out anything in a wreck. This needs to come with a breath analyzer!
Yup. On my mind 24-7 as a Miata daily driver in Michigan where these are all the rave rn

@@Emm2004 the headlights alone will blind you... and way to gamify the screen to distract the driver while he crab walks over people on the sidewalk...
@@pharmerbrown if only GM invested all this money into the BOLT 5 years ago and did not discontinue the Volt
Glad to see I'm not the only one. Not looking forward to dodging all the idiots launching these and passing aggressively. That much power, weight, acceleration... Makes me wonder if we need to revisit what street legal is but that won't happen until this thing rockets through a schoolbus crossing an intersection.
that intro was the best
It’s all over the place in the fun way? Most ppl call that’s crappy handling😂
❤️ your reviews btw you two are fun
The Hummer EV is way more vehicle than I would ever want in my life. That said, I bet it would be fun to drive especially on a road trip if you would rent one for a week.
9000 pounds + that much power 😬😬 imagine if this is involved in an accident…
Cybertruck isnt even born yet and you killed it!
This truck is crazy awesome. Also crazy: this truck came from the same company that created the EV1. I'd love to see them parked next to each other.
Happy Canada Day Euri & Jakob My Independence Day Is Monday Fast & Furious Movie Need That Truck 🇺🇸.
Wouldn’t the Cybertruck have to actually exist for something to kill it? So far it’s poorly cobbled together prototypes… like four years later.
Tesla actually creates a good EV with good range for the size of the battery. GM just strapped a ton of batteries (literally, 200+kWh of batteries) so it’ll take twice as long to charge this hummer and twice as much energy as a cybertruck to achieve the same range
. If tesla wanted to release it ASAP, they would do things like GM did with the hummer.
@@Hunterdietzman bro sell your Tesla stocks.
@@currycel470 lol nah bro holding strong. Sold some stock earlier this year and bought a model 3 performance though
@@Hunterdietzman but… the Cybertruck still doesn’t exist, this does. Quit latching onto vaporware as proof.
@@k.k.hickey279 it literally does lol, look it up. It’s in production
Best TSP intro, ever.
I respect that fact that GMC just shit all over Tesla and Ford. Bravo 👏
With a base price of $110 K it's not a 'poor peoples' truck.
11:37 Not the first time I've seen a Chevy truck drive like that down the road... 😶
A shame you can't seem to completely turn off the fake noise being pumped in through the speakers. It's annoying. The rest of the truck is fantastic!!
This thing seems very fun so I wouldn’t say it’s not fun lol
@@dz_gt500 I agree that it must be a blast to drive but it ain’t efficient or affordable…
@@David-qi8ku If you want maximum efficiency then yeah look elsewhere. But 300+ range on this monster is still neat
@@David-qi8ku which is why it won't be around for long especially if we have a recession
Grail cars like this provide a way for companies to make money on R&D for tech that will eventually make its way to cheaper models.
