I cant put my finger on it because of course I'm not a professional car designer but it just seems like the proportions aren't right. For instance my Mom has a 2017 Cadillac Escalade and that puppy looks good from all angles. This new escalade looks like its too high. There is something about the outside panel ratios that is just off and its been shared with all of the newer GM Trucks/SUV's. I wish there was a car designer that could validate what I'm seeing and interpret it more eloquently in car design lingo.
The car is designed with the front , hood and sides are designed for crash safety ratings now not looks . New cars have very high side skirts now . even a car looks like a cuv or suv now

Hi 👋 there well I actually came accords your comment list and I though you might be interested in earning money constituently by trading the crypto currency market.
The hellcat Durango still has more power and less weight though. The jeep trackhawk does as well. I feel like those two will still walk this tank of an suv. The g63 amg and alpina, on the other hand, should be getting stomped by this.
This thing about the Durango is that it's not at the same level. It's not luxury and super comfortable like the Escalade so for the prise you get so many more things.
There’s no comparison at all between the Durango and This Escalade, Durango goes fast in a straight line, it’s got that. This thing has style, sound, comfort, speed, class.. GM did their thing with this one.
Still think it needs a wider stance hence fender flares to differentiate it from the other models plus no sport designed seats with aggressive bolstering & stitching, also steering wheel should be sport inspired & finally the interior trim needs racy bits not overly exaggerated though, but good job & thinking for actually producing such a beast! Kudos Cadillac 👍

This latest round of GM full sized SUV’s, especially the Caddy version, looks like GM used Yuri’s photoshopping to make the grill look taller, which then raised up the entire belt line, throwing off the proportions and even with the big wheels, it looks under-wheeled.

That gets about the same mileage as my 2021 Charger RedEye wide body! Although the RedEye gets 12-13l/100kms highway at 160kmh average - which is totally acceptable. I consider it smiles per gallon 😊
On the external shots It’s like I hear the exhaust but my eyes can’t believe it’s an Escalade.
Car of the year for sure. Nothing can stand next to it. These new Cadillac Escalades are on another level. God blessed America. I personally would love to own the Sport Platinum version of this. I don’t like the V badge on the side.
De-badging is always an option. lol
Gmc had the Upgraded version my grandfather had a ls7 gmc Yukon denali it was white. Had 505 horsepower at the crank stock! Almost 500 to the tires. I loved it he has a car lot I'm sure that why he got it
Is this going to prompt a Grand Wagoneer Track Hawk? Let’s hope!
Jeep Grand Wagoneer SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody Super Stock!
I am GM to the bone and I absolutely love the leaps and bounds GM is taking in every category of the car industry whether it be Cadillac, Chevy, GMC, even the EV lineup is Awesome; however is it just me or do the new GM Trucks have an disproportionate look to them.
But how does that even look like a Cadillac. It looks like it's about to fall apart when it takes a corner.
Everything is being produced by engineers, not the the old bean counters back in the day.
I definitely see disproportion too, Maurice
The car is designed with the front , hood and sides are designed for crash safety ratings now not looks . New cars have very high side skirts now . even a car looks like a cuv or suv now
It’s not just you. I think these new models look very strange.
A lot of rappers or high class groups of people move in Escalades I could so see these getting very popular maybe not for 180 but couple miles prices drop💯imo
Love you guys!
I enjoy the brotherhood and friendship
And I enjoy how you two do your takes on each car
I need to see a drag race Cadillac Escalade V dodge Durango hellcat and track hawk and Tesla model X plaid just for fun
Just watched the RSQ8 video. You guys are awesome. Well done guys. Seriously.
That 3D-Animation of the car with the wheels not turning cracked me up xD
lol ya it’s jokes
Great review as always boys, but no way this beats a hellcat Durango or trackhawk
Hi 👋 there well I actually came accords your comment list and I though you might be interested in earning money constituently by trading the crypto currency market.
Absolutely no way it’s beating A HC Durango or TH.
Dealers in SoCal are starting to get these in, I want to test drive one soooo bad 😢
@@cristianhernandez8176 It was made to compete with it though and it doesn’t, it’s a second faster
Hands down, nothing competing with this Caddy. It's bigger than the rest. And you have luxury, power, style and speed.
They was on one this time..
Yes but this has luxury.
I guess they wanted a sleeper look

I don't even care that it can't handle.. I just want it for the engine and exhaust 😲
had the choice to buy a sports or a family car. I’m proving to my wife I am not selfish and super family oriented by buying a 2023 ESV V. Picking up this week. I have matured so much.
FYI, as stated in the video, that Escalade is 181k CDN. Which converts to about 140k common freedom bucks.
True. But in the US the MSRP is set at $150k.
Curious to see where the 10k difference is..
Hell yeah bringing back the 2000s with that edit. Pimp my ride style 😎
I love muscle cars, but I’m just not a fan of turning a luxury SUV like the Escalade into a hot rod. That’s like turning a Rolls Royce into a hot rod. That combination just doesn’t go together. Just my opinion 🤷♂️
i would buy it just to piss people off hahaha, absolutely love it!
I’m considering one of these as a family car and can assure you I’m not concerned about fuel economy.
Stop it. You can't afford this.
@@eternallogic6394 lol
Now this one I need for sure, I need it equipped with the camera crane and camera rig ready to film some crazy fast chasing scenes!!!

So American 🇺🇸
This latest round of GM full sized SUV’s, especially the Caddy version, looks like GM used Yuri’s photoshopping to make the grill look taller, which then raised up the entire belt line, throwing off the proportions and even with the big wheels, it looks under-wheeled.
This is my favourite review you have ever done guys! 🔥👍
🙏
about time caddillac got some recognition i drove my moms srx and fell in love with them
I drive a 2019 Platinum ESV and it's impressive. I can only imagine how absolutely insane this new V is. Thank you for a great episode.
My only question is: How does the insane amount of pops not destroy the catalytic converter?
It's does
I drive an Escalade and the gas mileage hurts my heart. But…..if I could I would get the V with no hesitation
If someone can afford this caddy gas mileage is not a factor
Its not mileage, its smileage.
@@MrRedsi yup that’s why it hurts my heart. 180k is nearly a house where I live
@@KarrasBastomi I see what you did there😂
@@infadelakainf I feel you but In reality this V isn’t practical at all when it comes to actual family use. Idk about you but I don’t think I’d let my kids in it haha. I see this more as a collectors car only meant to be driven to shows. I have a Platinum explorer and I still cringe every time my kids have to eat in it lol
This thing might be a big mom- mobile, but it certainly sounds sick. And has the speed to boot.
I absolutely love the Escalade-V. It looks great, it sounds Great, the interior is great, did I tell you the Escalade-V is GREAT!!! I only purchase American vehicles, and GM, is my favorite car company, and this is KING of SUVs, and did I tell you it is all around "GREAT"!!!
Most hilariously obscene crackles & pops I've ever heard. Well played, Cadillac.
This makes me respect Cadillac for the first time in my life.
The Blackwing doesn’t impress you?
410 and 22mpg is good for me for now. Yes I care I did 50k miles in a year. It sounds great and the adjustable ride height is awesome what is the range of adjustment on that though? !
The Hellcat is getting killed my emissions regulations..... meanwhile Cadillac comes out with the Escalade V. 😐
GM LT engines are better then Hemi engines for emissions regulations. Why do you think gm left the LS engines behind?
@@foxwithshades7080 what do u mean ?? The LS engines got great mpg. The corvettes were getting 28 mpg on the highway!
@@bubblelex5051 yes the do. But air emissions is the problem. Because the harder you make your air pollutant controls the harder it is for your engine to make better MPG.
Cadillac stepping it up big time
What is going on with the rear suspension on the sides, minivan have better clearance.
I'm going to buy one of those escalades when the price hit under 10000 in few years if I'm still alive

This is basically the Hellcat of suvs, because it's not meant to be a handler... but a straight line demon! Kudos to Cadillac for creating such a niche vehicle!
Can you guys imagine how beefed up the drivetrain on this massive tank has to be in order to handle this much horsepower and weight? LOL
Wouldn't the Durango Hellcat be the Hellcat of SUVs?
@@LG123ABC and its coming back this year
@@LG123ABC not at the caddy is faster? LOL
@@jamescox1806 caddy is slower, dodge says 3.5 0-60 I hit 3.2 on a regular basis with a top speed of 180
It's still slower than it's competition. All of that weight and 682 hp is the best it can do ? The hellcat Durango is lighter with 707 right ? With more torque too right ?
I think this vehicle would look best in a Dark Blue with a tan interior. But that's just me.
This is insane for me because this thing is massive in person, like huuuuge. So the fact that it’s that fast is just… 😅
As a kid I was very into Knight Rider. I would love for there to be a movie where they use a Cadillac. Maybe a 2 door, then pursuit mode would be an insane looking winged up craziness, then beast mode can be this Cadillac Escalade
This thing is a BEAST!
Love seeing you guys having fun ! keep it up
