Another tip is to think of them as ingredients; like vanilla pairs well with a berry the same way vanilla yogurt pairs with berries. A cinnamon/spiced smell goes well with apple like apple pie. Cucumber with citrus. Etc.
I recommend not spraying things on top of each other . Spray them next to each other. You will get the blend of scents you want but minimize any weird interactions.
@@user-wj8ge9gn1l I mean , to each their own , but I’ve found this allows both scents to mingle on my skin and not have one dampen the other . But with layering you may get better results with certain fragrances not taking my advice, who knows honestly but I also don’t have the patience to let one dry down completely ha
My favourite combo at the moment is Rose Ikebana by Hermès and Rose Jam by Lush. It lasts all day and well into the evening and on me it smells like a warm summer rose with a subtle citrus scent.
I always shower myself in a Moschino Toy dupe (the original lasts seconds on my skin) with any perfume i feel like to that day. I have variety but all my perfumes are in the category of clean and fresh so they usually par well
My layering is typically going with a simple body spray from either bath and body or body fantasies, typically light fragrances with a long lasting parfum of higher quality like YSL’s Mon Paris or Miss Dior (original or Roses n Roses- love both), My Way, Acqua di Gioia- all of these go with MOST of my summer body sprays- apple blossom, peony, gingham gorgeous, - all really light smells that pair together. For winter, I stick to my preferred Mon Paris or Flowerbomb Néctar or Black Opium or Victoria Secret’s bombshell (winter smells)- warm florals- paired with winter apple or Bright Christmas morning, with twilight mist aka a more … 🤔 violet? Scent. I’ll also add Amber heavy perfumes- like I’ll steal a spray of my bf’s Valentino uomo born in Roma since it’s for both genders and honestly is a really nice undernote for anything to smell more like Amber in my opinion
Can you layer body mists with perfume? And are bath and bodywork’s body mists worth any money? If not, then what body mists would you recommend for someone with a low budget, who still wants the body mists last?
I’m not sure if anyone else does this, but i layer perfume in accordance to parts of my body. But all the perfume must have atleast one note that ties it together. 😂 like for example, hair, i would spray in something fresh sweet but abit floral. For behind the ears and neck, something abit more lactonic & abit woody, but then again has some sweetness, the other parts of the body i sometimes go sweet gourmand with projection. In short, spray something that works with your chemistry.
I just layered Louis Vuitton Ombre Nomade with Carolina Herrera Very Good Girl Glam, so needless to say I really don't care about rules 😆 my coworkers are about to be really confused.
hi! im looking for a vanilla perfume, like sweet bakery kind of vanilla, like pudding or vanilla cupcakes. i used to wear sweet little cake with like pusheen from bi-es, but its discontinued now :( i need this kind of smell cause i hate everything else istg, and its literally impossible to find sweet, baking kind of vanilla
@@sillygoose2347 i read that its like a more mature scent tho, i personally love "sweet little cake" by bi-es, with like pusheen on the packaging. its the sweetest vanilla cupcake scent but i think its discounted cause it costs alot now...

That’s how I think of it too ❤
smart!🎉
Layering a chocolatey perfume with a creamy vanilla perfume also smells sooo good!! 😊
Omg is there a perfume that smells like oven apples, caramel, cinnamon, whipped cream, nuts, pistachio, honey?

Yes this is a good tip!
I always forget this

I don't know how or why I started doing it, but I layer D&G light blue eau intense with le labo another 13 and I get so many compliments.
This sounds so good!
yess!! Another 13 is what I think of as a "simple scent" so it works super well with almost anything! I will have to try this myself!
THE TXT ALBUM IN THE BACKKKKK

The Vanilla 28 smelled like the carmax lip balm ointment.

What are your favorite Jasmine fragrances, and what should you layer with florals?
Somehow I layer Burberry HER Elixir Eau De Parfum Intense with Tom Ford Velvet Orchid ❤
Happy Dust is sooooooo yummy!!!!!

Now, actually LAYER FRAGRANCES.
Ok dumb question 🙋♀️ do you spray perfume on top of perfume when layering? Or should you spray different perfumes on separate spots? 😅
