I just bought Vain and Naive at Jomashop and is has no smell at all. I could not believe it.
The most important factor everyone is forgetting is that "body chemistry" also plays an important role. Combos' note might vary on each person's body chemistry

Okay, maybe it’s just me but I take both bottles and put one up to each nostril and inhale both at the same to see if they smell good together. It definitely gives druggie vibes but hasn’t failed me yet.

@Anne Lauren , two days ago i put Iris Malikhan and Divine Vanille together...yum!
A little extra sweetness to the iris. Not that i think it needs sweetness, love it the way it is! So, multi spray of the Divine Vanille 10ml decant i have and just 3 sprays on skin which it didnt hit of Iris Malikhan. Really addictive! I am not a layer'er (?...not a word,i know!), But inspired a tad by videos such as this.

Yea the spray on top of each other doesn't really work for me in most cases. Sometimes, I don't really get a scent. If I'm not in love with a scent and want to change it then that's when I've had success with on top of each other
Oh, I’ve been waiting for this video from you. Thank you! Question: if we’re using perfume oils as our base, do we rub them? I know Profumum Roma tells us to rub in their fragrances because of the oil concentration but I’m getting mixed information online about perfume oils.❤
I would recommend rubbing oils into the skin so it doesn't just sit on top and sinks into the skin better :)

I loved JHaG Magnolia Bliss when I've smelled it on tester strips and in stores but when I just got a sample and sprayed it on my skin it leans too juicy for me. Any layering combo recommendations?

I’m 100% with you on spraying perfumes in different areas as it gives a much better layering experience! Today I accidentally layered Le Labo The Matcha 26 with Byredo De Los Santos and I got 3 compliments from people at work and a girl was chasing me down the street to ask what I was wearing. I guess this combo will be my signature scent from now on 😄

Also, did you know Parfumo has a Layering section for each perfume??? I so wish more people would get on board with Parfumo vs Fragrantica so that I could see more layering combo suggestions. There are other reasons I prefer Parfumo as well, but the layering suggestions is most relevant here.

@@one.ebrown Not sure about desktop, but on a mobile phone, it’s in the two columns that have options like “Rate, Statement, Classify” etc. There’s one that says “Layer.” I think they should get rid of some of these options so it’s easier to find. They also have “Similar” which is like where Fragrantica shows what people think it smells similar to.

Thanks for adding body lotions into the mix, I was wondering! I still get mine from the UK from Quinessence, who sell all the bases, absolutes and oils to top perfume houses and are very affordable and chemical-free.
I layered Instant Crush with Pink Sugar and Instant Crush with Cloud to make it more feminine to my nose. Well, they smell good and lasts a long time as well.

A layer I learned from a commenter of another vid - MFK- BR540 (Extrait Only) and MFK - 724. Cuts the sharpness from 724 and gives an elevated clean scent
Any other suggestions for 724?
@@alanatillim4967 I think the trick is to use us with super sweet perfumes but I did also try this with Valentino - Born In Roma and MFK- Feminin Pluriel.
I feel like it semi takes but also elevates the notes. Those are the only ones I’ve tried so far
My favorite combo I’ve done so far, particularly in winter has been Raised Spirits with Guerlain’s Mandarine Basilic Forte (there’s a bourbon vanilla in the Forte that helps). Delicious spiced orange rum.
I also like to layer Gris Charnel with Atelier Santal Carmin.

I know I’ve told you before but Silky Woods with anything is great! I layered with Cassili and Venom of Love both were amazing! And weirdly Gris Charnel and Cassili totally works! Tangerine Boy and MontBlanc Signature or Note Vanille is also great.

One of my favorite layering combos is Chocolate Queen with Venom of Love 🙌 and V28 with practically anything haha. I also spray in different areas 😊 Love the look today ❤

Love A Whiff Of A Waffle Cone layered with Mancera Holidays…. I could literally eat myself lol. I was spraying both of them on top of each other but I tried the side-by-side technique and OMG I love it even more.
Ooohhh, on the subject of deodorant and fragrances, I always try to match my deodorant scent to my perfume of the day. Especially when it’s a strongly scented deodorant. My favorite combo is Valentino Donna deodorant with Chanel Coromandel 🥰My date kept telling me how nice I smelled that night 😉Another combo is a hair perfume and fragrance, such as Delina hair perfume and Delina Exclusif fragrance. They are perfect together 😍🌹

I quite like to use fragrances from Monotheme Venezia to layer with more complex perfumes ; for example one of my favourite for spring is to layer Twilly d'Hermès with White Musk by Monotheme. It just gives a bit more depth, a bit more maturity, while keeping the spirit of the fragrance

Great video! Love my Bath and Body Works Combos. You’re the One with YSL Mon Paris Intennsement, Into the Night with Ylang in Gold or Coco Madmoiselle, Midnight Amber Glow with Atelier Des Ors Lune Feline or any of the Navitus Scents.

I feel like Vanilla 28 goes with practically anything! 😍 I don't own Intense Cafe, but other vanilla, rose, and coffee scents should be a hit :)
Just layered ylang in gold nectar with xerjoff lira since I'm not going anywhere. Love both fragrances apart and together. The real test is when I go out.

I just purchased the gucci Flora gorgeous gardenia and i am not happy with how it smells on me… i like the fresh & floral opening but im not happy with the dry down… its a bit too sweet for me… do you (or anyone else) have an idea what i can pair it with so it stays more fresh and maybe even adds a little bit of citrus Into the mix?
