What does this have to do with your speech channel? I followed you after watching you on Bob and Brad podcast but no more
SLPs work with people on gender affirming voice, and this is helpful information for SLPs and all people. ❤
I don't care how people want to live their life, but this is so ridiculous. If it's not apparent what gender you are, you can't be upset if people "misgender" you.
It is easy to think this way when we are cis and not misgendered, but using this simple practice is a smart way to respect people. Simply put, if they let us know that it is important enough to do, we should respect that. They have a different lived experience than us and we don’t know what it is like to be trans or non binary and misgendered.
Wow. You just gotta force your politics in somewhere, don't ya?
I have just unsubscribed.
First world problems, meh
This has nothing to do with speech pathology, very disappointed
And what about people who refuse to do this? Let's say it goes against their cultural, religious, or moral beliefs.
