Andrew is one of my favorite Bondi vets. Such a sweet soul.
I wish we'd seen a follow-up a few months later with her progress.
Still, Dr. Andrew is a miracle worker. Of course, I never want any of my animals to have a horrible injury like that. If it does happen, I hope a doctor as competent as Dr. Andrew is available here for them.
Love to watch Andrew at work, he pays careful attention to his patients.
this puppy is so loving, look at her tag wag even with all her pain
Excellent she's lucky the doctor was able to fix her leg. I hope her family invests in a harness for when she rides in the back again, so she won't have that happen again. I hope they get to spend many many years together.
I don't use harnesses for my dogs, I actually use Martingale Collars. There is absolutely no way a dog can get out of them. 😁
Poor girl, and I know she is in the right hands.
Dr. Andrew you are the very best.
totally agree, i'm a bit mad at whomever gave the puppy the option to jump out of a vehicle
Would have liked to see an update on how she recovered from the surgery.
LOVE seeing Andrew. He's such a great doctor and person.
Love Andrew’s work - he is so gentle with the animals he treats. I must say Tahlia’s handshake is SO precious ❤❤❤
Andrew…my hero! Always amazes me…his knowledge, talent and kind heart.
Great job Docs for all that all of you do for these pups and other animals...
Thank you Dr. Andrew.....I know you are an angel in disguise!.........

Dr. Andrew M. Is such a wonderful doctor. I need some ortho surgery and wish I could find a surgeon in the U.S. with the same experience and compassion! ❤❤ 7:55

My male cat had the same injury when he was a kitten after he tried to jump from the floor to the top of my 7-foot freezer and bounced off a wire cart. It was crazy.
Dr. Andrew is .. for me .. the BEST EVER .. SURGEON vet … wish we could have him here….. in Europe.. love to know that his favorite pet at his home is … a chicken!!
He's great!

Are there artificial joints available for dogs as there are for humans?
Yes.
My dog broke her hip as a puppy and it was never set. It was way too late by the time I got her at about 10 months, so what they did was take off the entire ball of the femur. It's called a femoral head ostectomy (FHO). She can walk and run just fine.
Why show an operation then block it out?
Its for UA-cam sake 😭
youtube restrictions and also so they can get money by asking you to pay to subscribe to get the unblurred videos
❤❤💐

Why would you put a 16 week old puppy on the back of a ute they were lucky she didnt die
Thank you! I was waiting for this comment. That was not very responsible of them, quite dangerous for any dog but a puppy even more
Can I ask what a Ute is? I'm Canadian 😁
@@happycanadianfarmeri just looked it up and an ute is a car that has like an open rectangle area at the back of the car that you can put stuff inside of, i think theyre just utility or pick up trucks
@@tweets009 Thank you so much. 😁
Is it not possible to replace the ball and socket
Hip replacement is an option, but this pup is still growing. I've only seen them do it in older dogs.
Could be that she still has 12+ months of growth to do. A hip the size she is now, wouldn’t be adequate for a full mature Staffy.
@melsterifficmama1808 Actually it can be done at a young age. A pup can have hip dysplasia at even 4 months old ( breeds that are prone to it, i also have GSDs ). They have no choice but to do it at that age.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Москва ❤❤❤❤❤
This is why dogs belong inside CARS, not on backs of utes. Irresponsible owner.
this was avoidable. please don’t put any living creature in the back of an open trunk bed like vehicle.
Please don't carry your dogs in the backs of utes, but if you do, please don't wait 5 days to bring them to the vet with their injuries.
Thank you please read Romans 10:9-13❤
