How lovely that they let the prisoners raise the puppies!! That’s so special. People can be good if you give them the chance…
The way he shakes the puppy
I normally would cringe at not having a pet spayed, but in this case, definitely seems like everyone benefits! Loved this.
Yeah. Most prisoners just broke the law, that's all; they're ordinary people. Any of us could be in their shoes. Sure, there's a few sociopaths in there, but for the most part... just people being people.
dogs can bring out the best in people.
The ONE puppy from the C-section looked absolutely stunning
Strongly agree ❤😂
Bro is an absolute unit, a chonky one at that
The first vet said it correctly we all love puppies but we have too many in this world without homes😢
Same with humans

Wow. One dog changed the lives of 3 people. The inmate, the person getting the dog, and the dog is lucky too.
For the little girl who did not make it, please give it a name so it can be forever loved and remembered. RIP sweet baby🥰🥲
❤❤❤
In my mind the mother who passed and the little baby girl who didnt make it, made the trip to the afterlife together, they have eachother till the rest of family joins them.
I love all the vets, but I also extremely love to see the vets working together!! Watching Scott and Rob working together brings so much joy!
❤️

Having the dogs in the prison is such a good idea for America especially for the prisoners who aren’t violent I feel like it really just gives them something to be good for. I loved this episode
Totally agree. It's a good way to rehabilitate people while also teaching them to take care of another being, that's 100% dependant on your care.
All prisoners should have the chance under supervision animals help us heal
@@Jess3675 I’m glad to hear that. I hope they use it more often.
Many prisons in the US get non aggressive prisoners to train dogs for their future to be working dogs.
Unplanned? No such thing. Please get you dogs fixed.
I am so proud of the female prisoner who helped the dog deliver her first pup. You can see the awe and love in her face and she realized that this pooch she had been taken care of for 4 months really, really needed her. Only her! I think this program is amazing and in society once they are released it will help them to have more compassion and a willingness to help others. I hope this program is a success. ❤❤❤😊, M
Thank you so much, Dr. Chris, for stressing that there are too many puppies that no one wants are being born. Just have them de-sexed. Our son has a female that got out and got pregnant. He had not been able to work for some time, so I took care of the financial part of the puppies. They are all de-sexed, all have their shots, and all are microchipped. I felt I at least did something to keep down the amount of unwanted puppies being born. After all, there were 3 males and 2 females. As you know a male can produce a LOT of puppies in the lifetime, and females can produce a lot as well. Even the mother got the full treatment. So, thanks!
Your son wasn’t working yet couldn’t look out for his pup? That’s wild.
@@UnderTheMilkyWay-mc8md I guess I wasn't totally clear. Our son had not been working steady for about 6 months. The company he works for doesn't always have jobs for them to do. He DOES take care of his furbabies. Better than most. This little girl managed to get out while he ran down the street (in his car) to take care of business. I am unhappy that this is the only reply that could be made about my post. Maybe I will stop supporting this channel.

…and I hope your son reimbursed you for taking on what should have been his responsibility.
❤ the vets & their enthusiasm. GOD bless the mothers & pups! Thanks for sharing the joy!
Oh my gosh, that is so devastating for that poor woman whose mother passed away 🥺 She said she only was diagnosed a few weeks back, that is NOT long at all to have to prepare to say goodbye to a parent. I hope she's doing well and glad she at least had her sweet girl Greta.❤🩹
Gosh it reminds me of my dog pitbull. My dad found her in the forest with my brother and brought her home. She got pregnant from the stary dog that was wandering around streets and she had 16 puppies. My father (who’s a car mechanic/diagnosis) was the one to help her deliver puppies thought all night, the miracle was that only 2 puppies didn’t make it that night. Now she’s not here with us anymore and her puppies are 15 year old by now.
She was a rescue because the person who abandoned her was in prison and she was supposed to be in dog fights. She had good life with us. She deserved all the best in world.
This may sound dark but the lady's mom who passed is going upthere with a good dog.
r.i.p puppers 😭 i dont cry much but the more pupps that don't make it the more sad i get.
Always happy to see Rob on the show, he and Chris have similar senses of humor and bedside manners, he's a delightful and good human being and an amazing vet
I'm glad I'm not a dog as thought of carrying a football team of babies have made my ovaries knot themselves together!
Nothing is cuter than babies of any species. This was a great episode. I loved it❤️🐕🐕🐕🐕❤️
Agree except with human babies. I just don't like them.
@@KALLASALEGACY Fr everyone else got such cute babies while human ones look like shrivelled potatoes lol they're extra annoying, too
He is such an Amazing Vet. I have never seen a vet so involved and going to his patients homes to help, but also taking animals home that need round the clock care
my German Shepherd was one of 7 I think, and even the runt of the litter was a chonky boy. The milk bar really was free for all for the pups.
Wow she delivered 10 puppies without any one of them dying🎉
Dogs can be the turnaround for prisoners. Love and rehabilitation are fantastic
I don't understand why more of the pets have not been neutered/spayed. There are so many animals that need homes this seems to be irresponsible. So many of the clients seem to be surprised when their pets become pregnant. I like these BondiVet programs overall.
I agree with you
It's often a case of finances. In many countries being neutered and spayed is expensive. Unfortunately, because it is a more extensive surgery spaying a female is more expensive than neutering a male. You could argue that people shouldn't have animals if they can't spay/neuter etc. but in my opinion pets are great for our mental health etc. so I believe that basic things such as spay and neuter should be offered at reduced price to people who can only pay a little.
Also the French bull dog and English bull dog breeds have many health issues. I’m sorry - forgive me - but I find this is irresponsible of the owners letting their dogs get pregnant. And one not even two years old. Kudos to the vets and their brilliant work.
@@piahyer8023 In that case if you can't afford to spay your dog dont get it? It's common sense
humane shelters will spay/neuter pets at a discount @@piahyer8023
Wow 9 plus puppies imagine trying to raise that many kids!!!
I know a woman that have 11 kids.
When my cocker spaniel gave birth she was so scared of her first pup, but she was really big and so we thought she’d be okay and focused on her two younger brothers who were much smaller. Sadly she was the one who didn’t make it after over an hour of resuscitation but her brothers made it and have been passed on to lovely families. I think of her from time and time, if she had survived I would’ve named her Destiny after Destiny’s child’s song “survivor”, but even if she didn’t survive here, she’s living on in our memories.
I am so sad that the puppy died, but also make sure that you are gentle when you clean the puppies and pray as well for the puppies to be nice and healthy now the puppy is happy in heaven.🙏😞😇
That last one made me laugh so much on how the mom woke up and see puppies on her stomach like “Where the heck did y’all come from??”
All 10 of Anna's puppy's lived. They are all beautiful. ❤❤
This was so so sad to watch. I feel your grief. I’m sorry for your loss. Shadow was part of your family. The Vet was so calming and preserved Shadow’s dignity. Beautiful family send off to heaven!
Beautiful ! Blessed the families . So full of love . So was the vet. A good man .
There is no reason not to have your pet spayed or neutered! Get it done, people!
100%
Reasons someone may not spay/neuter their pup
-money/funds
-wants to breed them later in life, but not young. Typically separate male and female of this is the reason, but dogs can escape
-some dog breeds require the dog to go through one full heat/whatever it's called for the males before they can be spayed neutered, or else there's a chance of the dog not fully developing or the surgery not working. Same thing for some cats too.
@drunkenmozzie4712 no . on rare occasions it may not be ok for a female to get neutered. But when they are so many dogs without homes its just cruel to breed pups not guaranteed homes
@@drunkenmozzie4712Such BS! No reason not to spay and neuter!
@@Sileaine ‘not guaranteed homes’
except those training to be service dogs, and training a dog to be a service is not cheap..
The other side is that there’s no guarantee the dog will pass training, and at some point, service dogs have to retire.
These puppies are so sweet and she had so many
Well done to the vets and their teams helping the animals and their puppies
"There's gonna be puppies flying in all different directions" bro 😂😂😂😂
I'm American and me and my family have some family friends who were licensed breeders (now retired). Specifically Samoyeds. I remember when I was really young that me and my family took a trip to see them and apparently one of the females had a litter of puppies (all planned). They were the cutest little fluffballs I had ever seen!! All of them went to loving homes.
I agree with the comment "11 , how do they all fit in there?" we had a cat who had 11 kittens and she looked like a basketball with legs
That's what you call furry basketball if they all survived slam dunk pun intended 😂
Geez, eleven seems to be the magic number for litters!
There have been dogs that had more than 12 pups and they all survived.
My previous dog was one of 13 puppies, but one did not make it. Still - she was a aLeonberger, aka a Giant breed. 10 puppies on such a small dog like a Frenchie is insane! I am sad but not shocked that she lost 50%. I am all for ethical breeding and making sure there are healthy, well tempered, predictable dogs out there. So not breeding on mixes or brachy-breeds or other dogs with health issues - but I don't think I could go throught it myself. I want another Leonberger, and will do whatever I can to make sure he or she never gets unplanned (or even planned) puppies.
I remember assisting two of our dogs when they whelped when I was a teenager. We were breeders and we had like 3 litters (we briefly bred pedigree show dogs). Such an incredible experience to welcome these precious little puppies to life and watch them grow into fluffy little gremlins.
I have been around for quite a bit of time but I have never and I have been exposed to several dogs seeing an English bulldog with the coloring on that puppy. Absolutely beautiful! I'm so sorry about the little ones who didn't make it. It's okay because it teaches your children about life and death. It teaches them to accept that some things are beyond our control. M
Such a pretty collie
Oh my gosh , I hope she does well and survives the surgery.
I've been watching your videos for years I love them so so so much and when I get older I want to be a vet ❤😊
Just the way they said tiny meatballs, but they are so cute. I wish I had a newborn puppy. They were so adorable.😢😢😢😢😢❤❤❤❤❤
This man is a great Vet. He goes above and beyond. simply amazing.
She's trembling and so scared. Ooor darling
Lying down, sitting down, upside down as long as they are coming!😂😂😂❤❤ Doc, you're also a comedian not just a Doc. LOL 😂😂😂, M
Granted #2 was cute and all births are all amazing...but 18 months is way to young. Should have had 3-4 seasons...so at least 2 years old at time of conception
I won`t apologise for saying that I get angry with owners who impregnate dogs they know will struggle during pregnancy and delivery. It's such an selfish act.. There are some breeds that, due to extensive breeding on certain traits are more likely than not to suffer medically. I understand that they are adorable - English Bulldog, Pugs etc. melts my heart as well - but I would never consider owning such a dog because I know they suffer much more than most other dogs.
‘She has a football team inside of her’ oh my god imagine hearing that with no context 😂
There are so many participating vets and social programs that charge a very very low price for spaying and neutering. AND MICROCHIPPING. No need for excuses!!!
I agree, I used to work for Petco and every month there’d be a mobile spaying and neutering truck that’d come by for cheap fixing. It’s sad people don’t utilize it more often
Exactly! There’s always discounts of prices available…. NO EXCUSES EVER!
Puppy so cute!
Videos like this makes my start of the day with a positive outlook. Thank you!☺️
They should get BOTH dogs fixed, not just the mother.
❤Incredibly inspiring that we can learn from a dog & her puppies that prison is so much more about your mentality & your heart.❤
Back in 1973 my dog had 11 pups of one did not survive, because mum couldn't count so we'll and laid her tired body down on it 😢. The other 10 survived and found families with the help of the Dutch spca. I took care of the lot incl.their mum until they all found their homes. Mum stayed with me so she wasn't homeless anymore. ❤
not only should the son have had his female Dog de-sexed but his mother is also irresponsible for not having her male Dog de-sexed.
And her son's quip of "Hey, do you want a dog?" gave me the impression that he was going to abandon Jewel for becoming pregnant because of his and his mother's irresponsibility. I hope it was just about adopting the puppies out after they were born, and maybe I'm just cynical, but it made me uncomfortable to hear.
Absolutely.
@@loredudeari i interpreted it as him talking about the puppies
in a planned single dog household, token not being desexed is a lackluster but not strictly irresponsible choice (should've been, but there's no direct health issues with him not having been yet so it's downgraded to lackluster choice from terrible choice)
the part where the son asked him mother to take in his also intact female dog is where irresponsibility creeps in, unless the girl is pedigree and worth something in dog fanciers circles she really should've already been desexed, letting her go that long raised her risk of cancer and infection
@@loredudearihumour can be a hard thing to grasp huh
I can't imagine how the retrivers owner is doing. Losing her Mom is awful & she loves her dog so much. Hoping the puppies are helping with her intimate loss. Yep the pups are going to be carthagic.
Amazing, the dedication and love that some people, every day and professional people, is just simply awesome.🥰
❤Luv ya bunches @Dr. Scott Miller❤
11 puppies in that little dog? Sounds like some kind of mom dog clown car action going on! wow.
With my girls accidental, little mom and dad acted like a real couple. ,when mom wanted me time ,sunbathing in the garden or have a sleep on the sofa dad would babysit ,she also had 11 .
we kept two and friends had the others ,amazing all ended up having wonderful lives and every few months we would all meet up for party walk. mom and dad loved seeing all their kids and got so exited a wagging running round and playing with them all .
I guess they always smelled like family as even years on their reaction was always the same ,exited adult ex puppies and exited parents .
Lol, oh my goodness - we have to watch over and love all of our doggo moms😂❤
Thank you so much for all those lovely animals

Such a great program.
Quite some time ago, our Labrador named Lady gave birth to a litter of pups. She was a few years old back then, and my grandparents bought her for my uncle, who at the time was still recovering after an accident that caused severe brain damage. He loved her so much, and she's was always an amazing dog. Saved my grandmother after her sugar dropped while she was out, was never aggressive, and acted almost like a human would. I don't exactly how many pups she had, must've been around 10, but some of them didn't survive the birth. The other thing was, and idk how that even happened, but she laid on about 2 or 3 of her puppies, suffocating them. On different occasions. In the end, only 2 or 3 survived, and were passed on to families. Lady is now about 12 years old.
I still can't believe that French Bulldog had that many puppies. My neighbors growing up had a Standard Poodle who had a litter of two puppies but she looked like she could have had sextuplets!
AJ and Summer really enjoyed exploring. The house is lovely. But a lot of work. Good luck. Very exciting. And a beautiful garden. 😍
Good luck Scott.
Aww so cute 🥹
Thanks!
Great veterinary surgeon and the mother as well
That woman with frenchies will get £2000per pup, can't tell me she's done it for financial reasons
with the state of shelters overwhelmed with dogs, this is a very irresponsible bunch of owners.
@@lindaname9413for blue frenchies… they can go for a lot more than $2000
Those 2 with the brachecephalic dogs should never have bred them! Very irresponsible!!!
Was also my thought, they can't give birth naturally and both had issues despite the c-section births, especially the one where more than half the litter didn't make it. That was just heartbreaking. Considering they have so much trouble giving birth and it's awful for both the mom and the puppies, as well as them suffering from life-long problems even if they do survive birth, it should be considered animal cruelty to breed these dogs. Everything about it is just horrendous.
Completely selfish/irresponsible people!
Awesome video.
I love how the doc just walks in and sees another dog a goes like "you're dad aren't you?"
I'm terribly sorry, but I find breeing British Bulldogs really mean😔
Or French bulldogs or any animal that struggles in childbirth; people what is your mindset?
It’s always a little bit funny how violent the puppy rubbing looks. I know it needs to be to get them breathing but man does it look violent.
