I think Samsons’ case just shows why it’s a good idea to have a vet check whenever you get a new cat or dog. Even a pet that has been raised in a fantastic environment might still be sick and symptoms could get missed when they are settling into a new home.
I'm in the UK and my vet does free kitten checks. Most vets here do. Samson, at 7 weeks old should still have been with his mother and siblings. His owner said "Maybe we did the wrong thing by him". I thought, no, you didn't. You saved his life. I know this video is a few years old (remember seeing it before) but I really hope the lady reported the breeder to the authorities.
@@Pythonaria Me too. Samson had a rough start and whomever was keeping him needs to be investigated. I know my local vets do kitten checks at low/no cost but I think it’s a good idea for any new pet regardless of age. I hope to be adopting a cat in the next six months or so and they are going to the vets as soon as I can schedule one.
@@phoenixfire8978 I've ended up with many failed fosters. They all go to the vet. Even older cats, our vets (or their nurses) will give them a free health check and prescribe anything they need like flea treatment and wormer. Most of my rescues have been infested with both. Not for long though. I loathe fleas and worms. People don't realise how much damage these horrible parasites do.
Especially if you're pet had to travel far to you, like on a plane. It's very good to get them checked for any injury/illness they could have gotten on the trip.
@@seigedrakonera5689 Very true. All my rescues were local. Only my dog came from a rescue a 150 miles away but we brought him home in the car. I lost him to old age last year. He was a beautiful German Shepherd. He was around 2 years old when I adopted him. I had him for just over 11 years. I still miss him.
To the new owners...please, please don't have regrets for buying Samson. You are kind, responsible people who are loving him & taking care of him in the proper way. Bless you!
That is my old cat and th people in the video is my parents, Samson sadly ran away and past away about 2017. There was no new owners but we loved him dearly
If there are other kittens where he came from, they need to be taken away and treated and the owners prosecuted! I’m glad this one is okay now.
Kay Henry
You are completely right . I support you with what you have said.
Poor kitty, poor animals !
Thanks to the vet were a tiny life is counting.
This kitty will lead a good , happy, loved by human, life, looks so !
I agree. The women who bought him saved his life by getting him out of that environment.
And they wonder why I'm such an Angry Cat >
Agree with you, I hope they reported it so this guy get stopped !. Animals have feelings and a life. When will we humans begin to RESPECT it.
@@erikalulea3608 ....Feelings, a life, a soul !
They know, when their human friend is not well. They sense it und take action: is near his human friend, trying, making him feeling better.
Many human are not enough sensitiv, they sometimes can't realise it.
How responsible for the owners to inmediately run to the vet when Samson started feeling off. They shouldn't feel guilty, they saved him.
I 100% agree
It reminds me of the case where a woman brought her golden retriever into the vet because he didn't eat his breakfast. If you know your pets well enough, you know when they're not feeling well.
Dr Chris this, episode is making me cry. You are my hero saving this little kitty. Only GOD made you a special healer ❤
These women purchasing him ended up saving his life.
They didn’t know if they did the right thing by adopting him? They’re his hero! They saved him!😇
Unfortunately, Samson is probably one of the lucky ones.
His life will be so much better now.
Fortunately.
im so glad he made a full recovery. PLEASE do not mistake the people who did this to Samson as "breeders", cause reputable breeders would never allow this to happen. they are nothing but backyard breeders/kitten mills and they all need to be stopped. that wont happen unless we learn good from bad. im just glad the owners of samson learned a lesson.
All breeders are the same. Adopt, don’t shop.
There's no such thing as "reputable breeders" when adoption shelters are overflowing! Absolutely no excuse to be deliberately producing kittens when there are so many that need homes.

@@zerotodona1495 Then why did my mothers aunt, a reputable dachhund breeder only have puppies once every two years from a female dog, win more than enough shows, get accepted through dozens of programs and licenses and raise quality dogs for hunting and as pets and ultimately do it because she loved her dogs and had owned dogs with her husband for decades while actively hunting with them?
She if anyone is aware of the ethics behind birthing as she and all of her siblings apart from two have worked their whole lives as nurses with all kids of people.
Atleast in my country there are high rims on if you can be a registered, quality breeder and the litters are listed on the registeration site. The parents have to pass all health checks and the results have to be informed with the litters as any use of the parents (hunting ect) aswell as if the puppies are most likely to thrive in active households or as lapdogs.
@@zerotodona1495 while I agree that most people should adopt, you should know that people often go through breeders when they need a service dog. This is because A. Puppies who start training early have a much higher chance of completing training and B. Because some people need a specific breed or type. Example, someone with severe allergies who needs a service dog may go to a poodle breeder. We try to research good breeders, because the health and personality of a dog is very important for a working dog. Rescue dogs can successfully be trained as service dogs, but they “wash out” very often. I would love to have a rescued service dog, but it may not be possible. So please don’t blanket blame everyone who purchases a puppy, because there can be specific circumstances where it’s necessary. I do however think that there needs to be much more control over who can breed, and punishments for backyard breeders. (And more rules about pet dogs as well, like requiring a microchip, spay/neutering to prevent accidental litters, and some way to prevent people who are completely unsuitable pet owners from having dogs.
And this is why my husband doesn't want to buy a cat, only adopt from rescue centres
I would never buy from a breeder or store. There are documents you get from the shelters that show they have received all shots and have been spayed or neutered….you don’t get that from breeders. Breeders are usually only there to make money, for selling sick and dying animals.
@@karenacton3854 - not all breeders … some are responsible and do it for the love of the breed… if they have more than one breed available, don’t want you to your their facility, or are selling mixed breed … then they might be a mill or irresponsible (and should be reported and checked out by authorities!)
@@janvafa9959 exactly!! my beloved Bichon Branden passed yesterday in his sleep he was 16... i met his breeder at a local dog show in Upstate NY i fell in love with the Bichon cause of how cute and happy they seemed to be note i was 7... i one of the handlers who was in 3rd place for best in breed and asked if i could pet him she said yes. me and my mom asked if she knew anyone with puppies and it happened that she had 2 litters ready to go to their homes. i went 2 weeks later and saw her puppies... she told us everything about the breed and what to expect when owning one. one litter were champion bloodline puppies there were 7, the litter i chose was the regular bloodline puppies of 4 all of them were boys... the 3 big ones were up running near me and the runt saw me and sat and wagged his tail and the rest was history... for 16 amazing years he was a fantastic dog loved everyone and all animals, gave me constant love and laughs everyday that i will remeber all my life... there are totally fantastic breeders out there you just need to look!!

@@karenacton3854 Not all breeders are bad though. Yes, there are plenty of irresponsible ones (the main ones we hear about), who are only there to make a buck and don’t care at all about the animals welfare. However, there are plenty of responsible breeders out there who care so much about the animals they are raising. A good responsible breeder vaccinates, spays/neuters, trains, educates, and even does background checks (yes I know someone who does background checks on who they sell their dogs too) on people who they sell their animals too. That’s why buying from a lot of breeders is so expensive, because they’ve put so much money into the care of the animal they are selling. Good breeders care about the betterment of the breed. They only breed animals (especially dogs), who have the traits they want to pass on. There has actually been hope that that kind of selective breeding can mitigate health issues in some breeds (like hip dysplasia in german shepherds). So not all breeders are bad. I won’t defend the crappy ones, yes they should be shut down and prosecuted, but the good ones play a vital role. And yes, I also agree in rescuing and adopting when possible. All my pets are rescues (all my animals currently are rescues). But again there’s nothing wrong with real responsible breeders.
poor Samson I'm glad he is okay now
Kitten is adorable poor thing. I'd have called police on the breeder and get the kitten out of there ASAP.
Not always they are breeders, they could just be clueless looking after young animals
@@Ryanrulesok They should still be fined if they are profiting from kittens. It means they have a female cat that they have not fixed and is likely to keep getting pregnant, and is not getting proper care herself.
Kitten Mills are just as bad as Puppy Mills.
yeah adorable kitty cuteness overload ❤❤❤
They should be thinking that buy buying the kitten, they actually saved his life. If he was that sick a week after they got him, he would still have been that sick if he hadn't been bought, and the next day dead. Their quick response when they realised something was wrong, and Dr Chris' care means he now gets a long and loving life.
Poor kitten crying is heartbreaking. Actually it was a blessing that they bought the kitten. It really was a rescue in disguise. Spay and neuter your animals. Overpopulation is real.
yeah, I'm glad they took him. he would probably have died otherwise.
I know. His cries tore at my heartstrings. I have 10 cats, 8 of them are rescues. I keep telling people to spay and neuter their cats. Most listen. Some don't. This is one of the older videos so Samson will be fully grown by now and I bet a beautiful cat. I do hope his owners reported that breeder to the authorities.
It's good, but it also isn't.
Its good because they helped the kitten to get away from there
But it isn't good, because, when you buy a kitten from a place like this, they'll keep earning money, and only want more and more, so they keep on getting kittens for the money they get... It's just sad that it goes like this, it's always 2 ways around...
@@mariekes1682 Why in my comment I said I hoped the kitten's new owners reported the breeder to the authorities. I think this video is at least a couple of years old and sadly, this type of thing goes on all the time. Two of my cats were dumped as 9 week old kittens to fend for themselves. One just before Christmas 3 years ago and the other just after New Year 6 years ago. They were obviously the ones (both male) who didn't sell for making extra Christmas money for the disgusting back-street-breeders. They are now a much loved part of my family and like all my cats are neutered. They are also indoor cats. Sadly, some people see cats and dogs as money making machines 😢
Kittens and puppies like Samson are why I foster fur babies and critters. All animals deserve to experience what true love is with all the hugs, kisses, cuddles and good foods to eat.
Thanks for your love and support ❤️
I got a kitten from a family friend.
The friend got a pregnant cat from a coworker and she said the kitten was eight weeks old when we got him.
My kitten was skin and bones, flea-ridden, and looked more like he was six weeks old. We were shocked by his appearance because we saw him a week ago and I picked him and he was completely healthy. He also was a healthy weight and had a smooth shiny coat. His was dull and ragged now.
He’s fine, happy and healthy now with his vaccines, but I was still shocked. He also had joint pain for months, you could hear his joints popping when he stretched.
The only reasoning we figured out was that the family friend had a new boyfriend who didn’t want the kittens so she weaned them immediately and shipped them out.
Happy to see lil Samson recovered and doing what kittens like to do, he'll be up to no end of mischief I bet lol. Good on ya Dr Chris.
omg, dr. chris has the most amazing bone structure i've ever seen.
Dammit! I adore that little kitten. Hope he has a long, happy & healthy life with the people that love him.
I am so glad that they rush to the vet
This Was my cat! And my parents. As the cats owner samson is much much better and so nice ❤
He was squealing in pain, but that's for the best.

Dr Chris is the most handsome doctor on earth!!!!
Chris does it again that kitten was breaking my heart
I think it is safe to say that kitty will love visiting his vet.
If you get a pet from anyone besides a rescue center or professional breeders, always take the to a vet as soon as possible. What a great story, you saved his little life girls❣️
Don't get a cat from a breeder of any variety, full stop.
ALWAYS GET your Kitten or Puppy WORMED AND VACINATED! VERY IMPORTANT !💕💙💜💙🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Dr Chris strikes again!! Mums did the best job bringing little one in straight away!
Thank heavens his new owners took him to the vet. Poor little Samson.
Miracle worker Dr. Chris ❤❤❤
Soooo cute watching him bask in the scritches of 3 people.
Thanks for your love and support ❤️
That is the cutest kitten I've ever seen.
Beautiful kitten ❤
We love you Dr Chris great job 🙏🙏
Another successful saving a tiny cat is Dr. Kris performed miracle. He is great!
Aaaww hearing the little guy cry like that broke my heart! Good thing the girls brought him in when they did. We were lucky with our shelter pets. My dog got a minor infection from being spade and got worms. But with some cream and dewormer she cleared up in a day or two. With our cat he had some sort of cold but it cleared up in a few days. I can’t imagine what conditions were like at the breeder where they got Sampson.
My Yorkie was bought in a pet store and supposedly from a good breeder. NOT couldn't even find the listing for his papers. I took him in right away for a vet check and guess what he has liver problems from wrongful breeding. Today he is 16 years old and doing well because I did a vet check right away. Thank you to all those vets out there taking care of our pets.
Such a sweet baby, so glad they got him help quick. He is such a cutie.
This doctor is just awesome
He is just the cutest little thing but those screams are just breaking my heart. I know its for the best though
Poor kitten! So glad he was able to be saved

Sweet kitten 💕💙💜🙏🙏
Mine weren't bought, but I was also lucky to get two kittens from the CDS who were perfectly happy, didn't even have live fleas. But I always advocate taking any animal to the vet as soon as possible just in case.
My heart is breaking hearing this poor baby crying
God Bless you Chris for caring for this precious little angel of our Heavenly Father
So happy for little Samson. I hope he's doing well. He'd be a big beautiful cat now. (Jan Griffiths).
hi bondi vet when I first saw this video it broke my heart that poor kitten was really sick and I am glad that the kitten owners brought the kitten to the vet and I am happy that the dr saved the kitten and the kitten is feeling so much better thank you bondi vet and dr chris for saving this kitten life
People below arguing about breeders/etc. And here I am going "That kitten is loved and will have a good life now".
We observe your générosité taking of That pour kitten❤❤
Dr
Chris is awesome. Sampson is finally healthy and enjoying life. Adopt fur ever pets and pt these heartless breeders out of business. But I'm glad these ladies got Sampson and saved his life. ♥️🐾🧬🐾♥️
I love this wonderful happy ending. Dr. Chris is amazing.
Again…..Chris saves the day!!
This baby reminds me of my boy when I got him. He was a foster fail I took in at 8 weeks was only 1 lb and that was mostly parasites 😭 it's amazing how quick they can bounce back. 5 months my boy was finally healthy. Samson found the perfect family to save his life.
💗
Great job Dr. Chris. Glad they brought it in when they did. God bless
Dr Chris always wonderful!! God bless
Poor little sweet fur baby❤❤❤
I feel for these girls, I had a similar experience when I got my little Corgi. He was 5 months old when we got him from a breeder who’s house/ living conditions we didn’t see before hand (BIG MISTAKE- will never make that mistake again). The first day he had diarrhea and was a little lethargic but I figured it was from the long trip/ stress of a long trip. Day 2 he was still lethargic and still having diarrhea (no changes in his diet) but I noticed his gums were pale and I asked our vet if they could see him that day. When our vet checked him out found out he was anemic had 2 types of intestinal worms/parasites- whipworms and Giardia). The vet gave us a 50% survival chance with hospitalization. He was at the vet for 3 days on IV fluids and IV medications. He started having green bile poops and my partner and I cried for all the time.
He now much healthier- have some bad allergies but they are well managed. He is stunted due to being the runt and being infected with whipworms and Giardia for so long.
Please no longer get pets from breeders! That keeps them in business. So many animals are euthanized in shelters every year because people won't adopt them.
I'm so glad Dr Chris saved young Samson's life. The kitten is so gorgeous. I bought a similar looking cat from our local animal welfare refuge. My kitten came home with a severe gastroenteritis. I nearly lost my cat. My previous cat from them had ring worms. They've since renovated their premises, so I hope that means that their animals are now healthier with their inside (rather than outside) kennels. But back to Samson, I'm so utterly pleased that his life has been saved. He's definitely a cutie.
I’m really thankful you blurred out that needle. I’m going to watch a few more now.
thank God for vets like Chris wish more people were like him
Samson looks almost exactly like my cat, Dove. I hope Samson can live a happy, long life. It’s terrible that “breeders” don’t care about the lives of innocent animals’ lives, but the money they get from selling them.
Not all breeders are like that just to let you know, but more of the bad ones are shown
@@jess.bus.photosx6388 True, although a lot of breeders are only in it for the money.

What a beautiful kitty.
I am thank full to Dr Chris
Awwwww poor Samson what a wicked breeder ! Dr Chris should have called the cops on the breeder.... his cries just broke my heart 😔😔😔😔😔..... But yes glad that okay now. Stay blessed sweetheart ❤❤❤❤❤🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗....
Gorgeous kitty 😻
Great lesson!! We’re getting a kitten tonight but before we bring it home I want to find out today if she’s been vaccinated and given the deworming pill. I have another cat a small dog so I want to make sure they won’t catch anything from the kitten.
Was she?

This is one of my fave episodes... little Samson. 😊
Shame on breaders!!! Poor baby! I agree with Chris-pure neglect and should not happen in this day!
Thank goodness he’s got good mommies that brought him in when they did! Now he’ll thrive and get tons of love
Poor baby. So young and already suffered so much. I'm happy he pulled through. I hope his family spoiled him rotten after that.
Adorable. So glad he got treated and saved. ❤️
Previous baby... so glad they got him there and that he pulled through!
Sadly, that "breeder" knew exactly what he was doing. He knew that if they got the right people there, they would have to "save" this kitten from him. He got his money and he got a sick kitten off his hands. My guess is that the "breeder" wasn't even a breeder and he found a stray kitten on the street. I know the girls feel guilty but they did right by him in the end.
Amazing transformation!😻
Samson is the splitting image of my Louie. Could be twins. He is safe now, thanks to observing and loving owners and Chris
Beautiful ❤🧡👍
Thank you Dr Chris for saving the kitten
You should of taken him to the vet as soon as you got the kitten to check is health
BIG THANK YOU DR Chris for saving Samson's life it it wasn't for you he may have died and a BIG THANK from Samson as he can't say it for himself..
Awwwwww poor little kitty cub
Y must people do such horrible things to make animals like kittens suffer like this it is infuriating
I know right
Ya I mean it's not that hard to vacinate animals at least
Bless you for going the extra mile
Truth is kittens are very hard to look after, they're extremely fragile, just getting them to the vet is alot for mum and kittens. I had to cage separately, one of the hardest things to do. If the kitten is healthy and feeding well then 6 weeks no problems, but if the kitten isn't latching then everytime you move them you take a risk. As for deworming, it's a choking hazard, flee application treatment that has more functionality maybe a better choice. But people need that information in order to use such.
Edit : Ultimately vets always think the worse and claim people are evil, the fact that my local pound is also the veterinary hospital, well they enjoy milking the council for funds but do none of the community work for rehoming.
He's such a cutieee 💖💖🤩
10 seconds in and I can tell the poor thing is extreeeemly anemic,

Reminds me of my cat bootsie, she was 6 1/2 years old when I got her free and severely infested with fleas (crawling all over in eyes, nose, and mouth) and didn't know how to take care of herself, I had to get knots out of fur and clean her buttocks. I thank God that my family had two older cats (passed away now but got more kittys)that taught her how to use the litter box and groom herself.
