Animals are experts at hiding their pain. If one is screaming in agony, like that dog, the pain must be excruciating!!

There must have been so many things they had to cut out of the video, look how sweaty Dr. Chris is. Dogs are dastardly well of hiding their pain and if that poor dog is literally screaming and kicking at the vets the pain must be so excruciating… bless the doctors that have to help these animals no matter the situation. God bless you all

I had a dog bite through my thumb ten years ago. Crush, nerve damage and throbbing pain have never ebbed. It’s a permanent injury, be careful! I am on pain meds for life, unfortunately, and try hard every minute of my life to ignore the pain. It happened because I lived with an abusive guy, who yelled all the time, and the dog was scared, bit me. I kicked the guy out that day, the dog became THE LOVE OF MY LIFE. Now, my beloved dog has passed. Wish I could manage another, as I have love to give.

I love Bondi vets and especially Dr Chris, but as much as I love him, IMO I think he should have taken Willow to SASH that same night. They could have treated her faster than Dr Chris. She had to suffer in pain for the car ride and then being carried in and put on an exam table and examined again then taken to x-ray, the x-rays done then back to the cage for the night. He calls mom in early to explain willow's situation and does more x-rays then a ride to SASH, where she should have been taken in the first place, IMO. The pelvic fracture was probably made worse by all the moving around. It was probably fractured but cracked and still together, but by all the moving from cars and tables to cars and tables then to surgery, it then separated bc of the moving around, IMO. No I'm not a vet but IMO, hearing her in so much pain and listening to Dr Chris's concerned I would have taken her to SASH from the beginning. Having dealt with a few vets in my life, I have never seen a vet come out for an accident or even house calls. Usually if a pet is involved in an accident the EMT's will try to help, but only after all humans are taken care of, with oxygen and wound care if possible, but never with transportation. There is one vet that I've seen on animal planet called Dr Jeff Rocky Mountain Vet that does veterinarian care, in Colorado USA, for low cost. If you can't afford the prices they charge they will work with you on payments or lowing the cost to what you can afford. Homeless ppl bring there pets in and he sets up like $1 a week for a couple of months and then it's all paid. Ppl who can afford the regular prices are still paying a lot less compared to most vets. Dr Jeff says he doesn't need a big house or a million cars or any of that stuff. He lives in an apt above the clinic with his wife, who is also a vet and believes as he does, that they would rather do low cost vet care bc he doesn't think that having a pet should only be for the rich, he believes it should be for everyone who has or wants a pet but can't afford the high prices. Since Nov of 2023 I have spent close to $1,000 on my kitten bc he was sick with a cold and ear infection, then needed ear cultures that needed to go to the lab, then it was his shots and allergy meds then it was getting him neutered. Now he gets a new Rx every month for his allergies and won't need to be seen again for 5 months and that's bc he'll be one at that time. If it was Dr Jeff I wouldn't have had to even pay half bc I barely live on social security. Dr Jeff believes in spaying and neutering, he will only treat an animal in an emergency, unless the owner agrees to the spay/neuter. He goes to a lot of charity places in Colorado and Mexico and other US places to do spay/neuter clinics. Dr Jeff is the only vet I can compare to Bondi Vet's bc he care like they do. Bondi Vet's are fantastic, but I also know that some of there show is scripted. My dream before I pass is to take a cruise to Sydney Australia and see the Bondi beach and meet some of the lifeguard's and a few of the Bondi Vet's like Drs Chris, Kate, Alex and Gerardo and then a few at SASH in Sydney. Then I'd like to visit the Australia Zoo and meet Bindi, Robert, Terri etc... I would also like to pay my respect to Steve Irwin by visiting his grave, if possible. That's my dream but it will never come true bc I barely make ends meet living on social security.
I'm sorry this is so long and that I rambled on so much. Just an old lady's thinking out loud. I hope all who read this have a wonderful day and God bless you all, especially the healers.
