It may be too late to comment and for you to see, but as to your Rapid Ingress question, no it was not a legal move. It’s an easy thing to miss though and I had to have it pointed out to me too. Rules as written in the core rules, yes your ingress was legal. However, the leviathan deck pamphlet has a few extra rules besides how scoring and cards works. At the end of section 8 “declare battle formations” among other things says “units that start in reserves (which includes deep strikers) can’t arrive on the battle field turn 1. So if playing with that rule set you can’t (and I imagine all subsequent mission packs will have the same).
It also says anything that started on battle field turn one ignores this, so if you had a rule that allowed you to put something in reserves during your turn and you went first, you could rapid ingress it during their turn. I am having trouble thinking of example though as most such rules either happen before the start of first turn with redeploy abilities, or at the end of your opponents turn like with drukhari mandrakes or necron hyper crypt legion detachment rule.
Ok interesting. I'm thinking maybe the tyranocyte special rule still overrules this allowing you to arrive Turn 1🤔🤔 thanks for your input🙂
Great job using the new laptop and software Luke! Came together really well, especially considering the short amount of time. And boy are my localities tested in this battle. Sort of a whomever loses I win scenario. I love both of these factions!

Death Leaper fights first!
The sneaky part of the nids army has always been my personal favorite and it's a treat seeing them in your list. I'm working on my own leapers now too and I love the red on the lictor talons. Did you use the same wet blending technique as in your tutorials for that effect or just a streak of flesh tearers red ?
Yes I love the sneaky element too. Fun to use in games. Yes for the talons exactly the same as in the tutorials already live👍🙂
@StrikingScorpion82 Thanks a bunch for the feedback. The surface area is quite small so I was curious about it. Been having a great time playing vanguard onslaught detachment lately focussing on sneaky bugs. Any chance you might add/alternate lists in the future ?

Really good game
The black legion terminators wouldn't have been able to rapid ingress turn one as the stratagem says they cannot come in on a turn which they could not normally. The tyrannocyte could becuse of it being a drop pod but terminators couldn't come in till turn two normally

Those lights are very nice but honestly the price is off the chains ... are you kidding me lol. Many of Golden Daemon painters that won or even entered did not use those lamps lol. They are nice though if you have the extra cash, more so for reading because of the shape. I mean I wish I had a rectangle lamp but I make due with my circle one. Love your battle reports.

4+ each turn you got a cp. Think the mission was supply lines. abbadon gives a cp for a prayer on a 2+ is another way.
Once you allocate an attack and he uses mark of nurgle dark obscurity, one cannot re allocate the attacks is how I understand this rule
Well they can. You need to read the designer's commentary document. If a unit becomes ineligible to target, the attacking unit may declare another target instead.

@@GaryP336 going through 2 2000 points army's, the board terrain and the rationale behind the deployment isn't a 5 minute job. The effort and care that goes into the videos is why a lot of people like this channel, rushing it in five minutes would loose a lot of what makes this channel so enjoyable to watch.
@@mastercheif5645 many other channels are able to do pre game concisely and with out dragging out pre game for an eternity.

I played two games with tyranids.(I am beginner in world in WH40K)
We have attached unit(neurotyrant T8+11 neurogaunts T3).
My neurotyrant T8 got many wounds from Bladeguard(Space marines). Because neurogaunts has T3. And when they died, neurotyrant lost 5 wounds ( he failed save+4 5 times).
Is it normal? (beacuse we use toughness bodyguard) I think, it is bug from core rule.
I forgote to say about PRECISION:)) PRECISION from Eliminator squad(Space marines) with Damage 3.
My neurogaunts is huge problem for neurotyrant. It is very strange rule leader, attached unit and PRECISION:)
I hope, GW will fix this problem in the next FAQ.
I think, we should use Toughness leader for PRECISION rule and when we lost last bodyguard.
If we talk about Space Marines. It doesn't sense, because all leader have same Toughness T4. For Tyranids is important.
2 cases:
1) 1 Neurotyrant T8+2 neurogaunts T3)
I got 20 wound roll wit AP-2. I lost 2 neurogaunts and got 18 saving throw 4+. It is ridiculous:)
2) 1 Neurotyrant T8+2 neurogaunts T3)
I got 20 wound roll wit AP 0. I started roll 2 dice because neurogaunts save 6+, then if i lost neurogaunts i do saving throw 4+. It is ridiculous:)
I think, after hitt roll we should roll dice for quantity bodyguard. In several iterations. And then when we lost last bodyguard, we should do wound rol lfor leader with T8.
But rule says other information:(

Nothing urks me more in a competitive sense as people not using closed hand rolls for dice " or a dice cup ect to throw
I can make 9/10 throws if I know where my dice number is for example loading a one and spinning it forward with enough muscle memory you'll land 6 almost every time.
