i personally prefer longer form batreps but this is still good, also there is a nasty combo in unending swarm were you use the strat swarming masses to give your termagaunts sustained and if you have 15 or more guys in the squad you get critical's on 5's which stacks with lethals from a tervigon for both on 5's. also did you surge move at any point this game?
I think is good for quickly consuming some insights, but also prefer the longer ones as I find them more entertaining. I think a mix going forward would be nice.
I honestly really loved this format. Quick, hit all the highlights, got all the insights into how things worked and functioned. I don't know if I'm alone in this opinion, but I could go without seeing all the dice rolls. Getting the recap at the end of each turn really kept me engaged and kept me following along.
Loved this style report! Its a lot more digestible a la 40k in 40 min. I hope you do more in the future. A really fun, close game, I definitely had my doubts about that guard list but it worked really well.
Think I prefer the longer form battle reports. I listen to them when I paint, and it’s nice to hear the dice rolls. Also it gives a chance for your personalities to come through with the back and forth and when you talk out you plans, options etc
13:20, it's the CCS that prevents the stat modification, not the banner. Banner gives +1 OC which also applies after Shadow in the Warp and similar effects, though, so guard is double-safe here
At the end of Tyranids turn 3 I was yelling at my screen for that ripper base placement. Then the guard did the one thing I was afraid of. Smart guards... smart. Always use your rippers to deny deep strikes in your table edge nids players.
Oh I was there when we voted on how to paint that Exocrine, or rather what to add to it :V Therefore, my suggestion is Erect Eddy the Enormous Exocrine, or EEEE.
I believe both styles have their place. I recognize that this is probably way more fun and fast to film. However, I feel like I learn more from the longer form batreps.
I love this style of Guard list, its like a mix of elite and horde. I think the strategy should be more force concentration and not so much widespread.
New player so asking out of genuine curiosity. Is that the rupture cannon on the Tryannofex or is it the Acid spray and you’re just running it as the cannon?
Cool. Thanks for the replay. I just built mine and magnetized all his weapons but I wanted to be sure I wasn’t confused on which gun was which. Awesome vids by the way. Keep up the good work. “DRIVE THEM BOYS!!! DRIVE THEM!!!”
I don’t like this format. It’s faster, but at 42 mins you had to explain how it was down to every last dive roll and for me the game doesn’t feel that exciting to watch.
For tyrranids, is there a reason you don't bring the special weapons for your termagants? Most of them to me seem better than the default guns but you go full default.
Hope you enjoyed this summary style batrep! Let me know if you want to see more batreps like this :)

I like this style
I like this style mainly, easier to get through when i dont have 4 hours.
I like it!
Love watching bugs die but I would like to see some traitor guard learn their lesson

True! that was my mistake!

My current nid collection stands at 1300 points. These reports really keep my motivation up.
EPIC INTRO!
I is here! I brought a flyswatter.
Horde guard vs farsight!

Great game! Love a classic Nid vs Guard!🦑🦑🦑🦑🦑
I like the fast format

Reporting in Commander
Love the new format!
Eddy the Exocrine with a silent T

It's the acid spray gun but I prefer the look of it over the actual rupture cannon :)

“DRIVE THEM BOYS!!! DRIVE THEM!!!”
Cool intro.
Last Thing Heard of the Vox was Cadia Stands!!!
Avoiding certain armies because guard is "too poweful"? Didn't see that coming
It's not so much that Guard is powerful, it's more the free units which are more impact at low levels if one side has them and the other doesn't

Why do you use the old models for Astra militarum?
Because I don't have enough new models
Because why not?
@@Fisthammet they look significantly worse
@@blem5376 nah, a lot of new models, especially primaris marines, are pretty trash looking.
