You need to keep in mind that Abaddon and his Undivided Terminators do NOT get both Sustained and Lethal hits. Having all the marks means they always benefit from the 5+ regardless of which they choose, but they still have to CHOOSE whether they go for Lethal or Sustained. Nothing gives them both unless they are within range of a Helbrute

An excellent showing by my brothers in yellow! Although I still do think that having that character in the 10 heavy intercessors with that architect of war enhancement is the way to go... Their bolt rifles are AP-1 naturally, but there is so much cover on the tables that most often that will be AP0... But by having that character with the enhancement join them, they ignore cover entirely... Giving that to a captain, who then also has a nice master-crafted heavy bolt rifle as well, along with the 0CP stratagem for the unit, can really add some nice punch I've found in my games of 10th using the Fists in the Anvil Siege Force... Also the apothecary biologis is an option too, with the enhancement, and also adding lethal hits to the unit. But obviously not providing much else in the way of output... Having that unit guard the home objective too I feel is quite essential! As they gain that +1 to their unit's armor save against ALL damage 1 attacks when within objective range... I plant my unit of 10, with character in range of my home objective, and they never move... Of course LOS is key, and not all the time it's possible. But mostly it is. Just a single guy needs to be in range of that objective to get that +1 Save bonus. Gravis guys with a 2+ save, often in cover themselves... This unit has been a rock for me in my games!! Just something to possibly consider... Impressive win!! I really have come around on that servo turret after watching you use it also... That thing is solid! Especially in the Anvil Siege Force!! Good call!! Great job as always!! And well done! Go Fists!!

That black legion army is dead sexy (for a chaos-filth army that is) obviously the fists are gorgeous too. But as a loyal citizen of the Imperium, I typically hate the Chaos Aesthetic. But the Black Legion are very very nice. Happy Holidays to you both. Thanks for the content!

Transport doesn't have to be same mark. Otherwise you couldn't embark another infantry unit in it.
Thanks for clearing that up. Had to check the wording on a strat. And with nurgle it might live a bit longer to get the chosen into combat quicker 😀

@StrikingScorpion82 Just wanted to make sure you guys fully read the Pile-In rule. Models that are already in base to base contact cannot make a Pile-In move. This is intentionally worded this way so you can't make extremely long charges and then tag other units that weren't part of the charge. It also stipulates that every model must end it's move closer to the closest enemy model. It seems the way you guys are talking about Pile-In is a relic of 8th and 9h edition. This can make a huge difference in games and is one of the most important changes to charges and fighting from previous editions.
Yeah base to base. You select the order in which they go in. So you can make base to base then block off the rest your unit. However you put your models in a way that then another enemy unit is closer to models not in base contact. Fight both. Janky I know but that's 40k. Always a way around things.

Have you considered getting some Agressors with your imperial fists luke? Theyre probably up with inceptors in terms of the most reliable marine units, mostly due to twin linked.
I believe he said once that he was keeping aggressors and the other ones for the red scorpions.
I might be wrong but I think you have 75 points remaining on the imperial fists list.
I took two enhancements also so I think about 40pts spare🙂👍
Do Chaos marines have a rule to allow them to put more that 500pts in reserves? Deepstrike or otherwise I dont think half the Black Legion force is allowed off the table. Great game though fellas!
Deep strike does not count towards points off the table. I think the same applies for units in transport. The points off the table is for anything in reserve I.e things that come in from the edge of the board.

Good point although I think it is six inches to get the bonus the platform is only 5 tall👍

I had to advance him. To put pressure on the fists, and to survive a turn....I failed to put any pressure on 😕
