When they labeled these "Ultimate Editions" they weren't kidding. Love the look of this Skeletor better than the Mattel version. The extra accessories look great with him, the head can be a little tricky to swap, I use a hairdryer just to be safe. Great review!
Very happy that I got these Ultimate figures. Those ankles were horrible. The Super7 Skeletor is amazing. For He-Man I did swap and give the Super7 He-man the Mattel head and harness. I put the robot on the Mattel body because those wonky ankles at least kind of go with a robot look.
i like the mattel versions a tad bit more tbh. if i buy, i will buy and kerp in boxes, they look amazing in blister packages btw. for anyone bothered by glossy finish, try the old gunpla trick, clear matt coating spray. just be careful and research how to avoid mistakes
He can hold the lid of the Diamond Ray of Disappearance using an overhand grip. I've been pleasantly surprised at how well it stays in there even after knocking the figure over several times.

A little silicone shock oil dropped into the neck ball joint, should loosen things up and get rid of that squeaking. It worked for me. You can get silicone shock oil off eBay and Amazon for good price. Good stuff to have on hand for stiff joints

as much as i love the filmation line i have to admit their are some that i can’t see buying. those don’t exist yet but for example i can’t see ever replacing my ram man or moss man with a filmation one
Hello ToyBoy I wanted to know if you know there is some possibility of being able to acquire only the empty boxes of HE-MAN and Skeletor of the Grayskull Club line. I already have those characters but sorryly their boxes have broken and wanted to have them again. From now and thank you for the prompt and positive response. I already have a lot of the characters and I keep them with their original boxes. I am willing to pay for the boxes and if necessary even the shipment because I live in Argentina. I liked the hands on the Mattel version better. They looked more wiry and the right one allowed an angled grip for the staff. I also think the hands on Super 7's don't fit the forearms properly. They almost look a little too small where they swivel.
I dunno i like my mattel ones, but the super 7 ones are sweet too, for the accessories and the colors. The shine still sucks but the colors are great. The feet never really bothered me on the old he man and skelly, sure they're kinda dumb but i got over it real quik. I'm just glad i got the mattel ones because of the standard grayskull packaging which i dnt think they should of made these ultimates.👍😎🐊
Not sure if you're saying you prefer the Mattel Castle Grayskull packaging over this vintage style packaging? All I can say is that the packaging on these is what makes you want to buy multiples. for those of us that were kids when the cartoon was out, the original packaging style of any line is highly appreciated.

Never the less more heads more figures plus a carded one haha
This version actually is better than Mattel's, in my opinion. Other than the Diamond Ray of Disappearance which as you noted didn't fit very well on the original Filmation Skeletor, EVERYTHING else is a plus. It didn't come with his mini comics energy blade, but it's really not missed here. I'm going to take Mattel's Filmation weapons and give them to my Classics Skeletor(s).
I'm getting them, yeah. I love design for Slamurai and the Snake Troopers, and the Zombie He-Man looks cool. I'm getting the She-Ra doll as well, but it'll be for my daughter when she's old enough to not destroy it. I'm actually going this year so no way I'm passing up exclusives.

Except for the high gloss. They did a much better job on Skeletor as opposed to He-Man. The Mattel He-Man really blows Super7's version away. it just sucks I wasn't able to get that one. $200 was definitely too much. At least now I have a super oiled up cartoon He-Man to go with my Mattel cartoon Skeletor.

$35 is retail if you get in on the preorder. Super7 is a small company, they don't produce enough of these to compete with Hasbro's prices. The extra heads and accessories are one of the main selling points of the "ultimate" line, it gives you stuff that was never provided with the original figure.
I believe that the headsculpts are the main selling points for this figure. Very “cartoon accurate” too!

Yeah, it was done years ago by Mattel. This is nothing new, with the exception of a different paint job, ankles and a few other things.

i like the normal looking feet, the THREE TOED design is just too out there.
