@@robertchiarizia9463 they don’t need compressors. The hydrogen is usually stored at 300bar. You can see the tanks at 5:57 there’s two large black ones. The hydrogen turbine is actually very similar to a super charger in design (two cylindrical blades that entwine) but there is others pumps and stuff on board aswell.
@@leewolf6434 do you understand the difference between a compressor and a compressor section of a jet engine? I’m a jet engine mechanic (A&P since 1999) a compressor and a compressor section are two entirely different things. You have to compress the air into the combustion chamber in order to create the kinetic energy potential when the fuel is added and ignited. Like how a diesel uses cylinder compression only to ignite the fuel. A jet engine uses two igniters at 50,000 volts to ignite the jet fuel in the combustion chamber when the Ng (compression) is at whatever that engine needs. There can be only several compressor blades, or their can be multiple stages of compression. A true turbine section uses a shaft that sends kinetic energy of the exhaust gasses back up a turbine driveshaft to impel the compressor stage to compress even higher Ng levels. The turbine and compressor section’s synergistically power one another. The problem with cars is that car engineers don’t have enough sense to have a twin turbo and wastegate system working in tandem with the supercharger. A supercharger is an inefficient way to compress air density compared to a compressor section on a jet engine. ICE are only 40% efficient. Jet engines are even up to 80% efficient. If they are not designing them the way I said, they need to learn how a jet engine works and power it with hydrogen using the jet engine as a model, not an ICE. @@robertchiarizia9463 but it’s not a jet engine. It’s an electric car powered by a hydrogen generator. There is no combustion in this vehicle and the pump is for hydrogen no air. The other pumps are for the deionised water that gets created in the process that also doubles up and a coolant system.

This car looks terrifyingly good. Its like a spaceship. I love it
no, its pretty fucking ugly. The back of the car is so rounded and awkward looking it literally looks like a diaper or some shit.
Buddy 🤣🤣🤣, alright electric cars look worse, not every car in world can agera RS. But this's the funniest sh*t I've seen
@@arandomguyonyoutubewhoismo7251 I had a stroke reading that
That is something I never EVER seen before certainly way ahead of is time.
Lol... Alex's understanding of a hydrogen fuel cell is adorable.
Love the carbon fiber H2 tanks. And this thing looks pretty awesome. It looks like a Bugatti from ten years in the future.
Not really. If this were my video and I had spent four hours learning about it at the company's headquarters, I'd be embarrassed to post that attempt at an explanation.
@@dclipper8052 yeah the explanation was quite bad, mostly the intake part of the explanation that seem that she was confuse. But still, not the worst explanation either.
It most likely won't come to fruition as with most concept cars, but what a cool project! I would absolutely feel proud and accomplished as hell to create such a beautiful piece of machinery
Maybe cause government won't allow it.. our economy and united states will collapse if Americans don't have to buy oil
Yeah let's see what happens.
Best looking futuristic car i've seen this far!
Tomorrow you will say same thing looking another car
@@audiobookshindi4877 exactly, that's why i said "best looking car this far" because there will always be something better coming
Maybe the coolest thing I’ve ever seen.
I think this sound it emits is fantastic, something really futuristic, reminiscent of the Batmobile.
It’s the closest thing to a true “sci-fi” space ship we have. Such a cool car
I was so much waiting for a real life review !! And that it was finally done by you guys, which is nothing less than amazingly astounding 🙏
I just hope they don't change much of the design in the production version of this "beautiful beast" 😍
I like how all these cars are just cool projects that go NOWHERE
As an EV user, it's cool to see other types of alternative energy being used for transportation. I feel like we're still a ways away from hydrogen being super practical for most people, but with more fueling infrastructure and advances in producing hydrogen in the first place (that's my biggest concern currently), it could be ridiculously viable.
I would think Hydrogen use is much more environmentally friendly too. From production to street use.
breaking news! you are being lied to if you think this vehicle is going to need "fuel infrastructure" its fuel is WATER it burns h2 and uses o2 to oxidize. but ofc this company is going to have some sort of fuel "cell" that you can only get from themmm. cause they dont wanna save the planet they want to be the next monopoly of cash waterfall.
@@straightupautomotive yeah but the problem is the energy density of hydrogen is really low and they require high pressure tanks to store so it’s really difficult for it to be mass-adopted as a fuel source.
"alternative energy"? so like gas....how it should be.....
@@greenhat7618 low density? 1600km range for an electric vehicle seem low for you?
Normal hydrogen cars like NEXO still did not reached the 3% of production scale compared to Tesla models and still they compete at similar price with battery vehicles that has 500 or more km of range (nexo has 666km).
So imagine the cost when they reach parity in production!
That day will come when the share of solar and wind pass the limit of 60% of the electric grid, because hydrogen at higher shares become more and more cost effective than batteries or other storage technologies, that day hydrogen would be mass adopted and it would start to cost less than gasoline.
This car looks like something you would only see in a science fiction film. It's amazing, so so cool.
This is the coolest car concept I've ever seen!! 😍
This has to be the most beautiful concept you've shown
The specs on this car are so unbelievable I am glad you got a chance to show us it is actually real. The Hyperion team is going to change the world.
Except 2000 horse power and 0 to 100 in 2 seconds is a horsesh*t. All i saw was too much noise while driving at 30km/h🤡
@@RUS38 exactly, a whole Lotta gimmicky lights and noises.
@@RUS38 You must be dumb. 0 to 100 in 2 seconds is easy when the power comes from the battery (that gets charged by the fuel cell). The acceleration figure is not groundbreaking for this type of EV.
Would have been nice to see this demo showcase the speed and acceleration that they claimed. But no, it's just a concept. It's not supposed to do any of that just yet.
❤hello Joel
Someone : How much Too Much do you want?

it feels like a movie car... but it's real and it's awesome!!! love it!!! they killed it in all angles of the sports car / hydro sports car. thanks Alex for sharing this. i hope it's affordable, hehehe, in my dreams. this is the future!!! love the sound of it too, it's like in a star trek spaceship or star wars.
Tnxs❤❤❤
I'm in love with this car. This is the coolest car ever. Great presentation. Thanks Blondie.
What a nightmare for car washing😂 great looking car!
Firing out water? This really is the future, water has been putting out fire for as long as I could remember
A dream come true guys
I love you @SupercarBlondie. This car made my day 😍😍😍. I'm in love with this car already. Thanks for showing us this one. This is one of the best cars I've ever seen on your channel. Thank youuuuuuuuuu 😘
Wildest car I have ever seen. It's mad! ✨😄✨
This car is friggin amazing. I have never seen a car so futuristic.
تحياتي لكي متبعك طارق من الشام شكرا على المحتوى 😁❤👍
Alr, I know what the air intakes are for. Seeing as the engine is powered by H2, the oxygen is to create the H2O (water vapour) that is fired out the exhaust at the back. It’s not as complicated as she explained.
Edit: 7:23 you can’t generate Hydrogen, it’s an element, it can only be moved.
Thanx Mr. Wizard......
...basically....disintergration and constitution....of water molecules
......and it cant go fast...fo sure...
@@joebangs5616 in time? I recall years ago, some home based scientist saying that we exploit hydrogen to run cars and many other things, but he claimed to have been silenced when sending his discovery...to whomever he sent it to.
True

Gorgeous build... and the car is sick too! 😍
Is it just me or did her bootie get a little larger? Nice car btw.
This is so badass I can’t even think.. It looks and sounds like a spaceship and runs on hydrogen and solar?! 🤯

I'm absolutely in awe the looks the sound the interior it's stunning
Incredible car !
It looks like it has time traveled and came from 50 years in the future where hydrogen engines not only are build in regular vehicles but also in hypercars.
Fantastic interior- , exterior- and sound-design ! Congratulations for this piece of perfection !
I love it. I was having flashbacks of The Jetsons and could hear the theme song in my head. I love the sound of the car too, very cool, a relative of mine developed a hydrogen car in the 70s while in high school.
The rims are power symbols, the logo on the front of the car is "mizu" literally water in japanese, this is cool. i wonder if the color choice was deliberate to look like a shark and the accent colors to mimic the sea. The air intake looks kinda like part of a coral reef, and then theres the hydrogen molecule. Also the arirblades and solar panels look almost exactly like shark gills. there's not only a lot of great engineering going on here, but also some extremely well thought out visual design. This is one of the coolest cars in visual design i've ever seen.
Charges faster than anyone's phone
And sounds like a jet engine
I need one of these. Wow. Absolutely gorgeous, powerful, impressive

Concept car bro. Not for people💔

OMG, I guess this is the car that shock me the most from all Supercar Blondie history!!
I LOVE IT!! Everything about it.. That water lighted exhaust, those aileron
that help to turn at high speeds, the sound, the design and the 1600km range!!
DAMM!! This really looks like future!!
It look like a buggati 🤔🤔🤔
Also i loved the part when alex started explaining how the hyperion xp -1 works lol
