I really love this style of video and the tour that you gave us showing us what used to be. Very cool tidbits and facts that I had no idea about. Thank you so much for your videos as always! Congrats on 14,000 subscribers, well deserved!

Was just recommended this video by a twitter mutual. Couldn't be more happy to find this. Love the history of these parks. :D

This had to have been the hardest video to edit yet and I applaud you for the effort you put in. 👏 👏👏

You know what? It was! I've ridden the tour about fifty different times over the last two weeks, going through different POVS taken over the years just hoping they'd get a good glimpse at something I was referencing. And... it was a blast! But nevertheless, I genuinely appreciate you appreciating it!

This gave me forty minutes of that lovely but also painful feeling when long-ago nostalgia overtakes you..I strangely got misty-eyed over the sight of the Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground, despite the fact it only existed at a time when I was either an adult who was WAY too old to actually be playing there (but still did!) or my kids were too young to play there (and really were annoyed when they found out they missed it)...Thanks so much for this...while some of the old stuff was underused or redundant.it was still fun and I still miss it!

I used to, and still kind of have this thing where if I know the time something's going away, I don't wanna do it. That's how I was with the stunt show. I can't stop beating myself up over not getting it together and going to see the final show. But I did see it quite a few times when it wasn't on death's door. That really was Disney's greatest attraction.

I'm so glad I got to experience the original MGM park. My daughter also got to see a lot of the things too. It was so fun playing in the Honey I shrunk the kids play area.

I love everything about Hollywood Studios today... But I miss so much of what used to be. Plenty of family memories that will have to stay that way... Luckily lots of places in the WDW to make more!

I never did the Backlot tour until around 2013 or 2014? Right before they were closing it down, so it was significantly different than it's full former glory. This was really interesting to watch, thank you!

It's last decade was my only window too! Would have been amazing to see it in its prime.

Thanks for this video, brings back so many memories. I knew they had to make changes. This is so classic of Hollywood Studios, actually MGM forever.

WOW the memories. I worked at Disney in 1989 and used to go on the Tram tour all the time. As much as I loved GE, this video brings back great memories...

I kinda miss the Earful Tower too...there was no real reason they needed to get rid of it because, I believe, it was in an area that’s STILL “backstage”

There's coaster track storage back there... which is not good enough! Would they take down the castle to store extra Tomorrowland Speedway cars... Hard to say but I I'm leaning towards 'no.'
We have to bring it back.

Set 3 where Toy Story Mania is at Hollywood studios used to be the Mickey Mouse Club building back in the 90's

This is such a great video. Must have been a lot of work and research to line everything up! It's really interesting to think about attractions past and it's such a shame that Disney doesn't preserve this stuff in virtual reality. I could imagine an on site venue at Disney World with motion platforms to simulate the movement of rides and such and faithful recreations of said defunct attractions in VR.

Would be a perfect addition to a well-established Disney Parks Museum in the heart of Disney Springs.

(sigh* to change this tour during the early 2000s area when i was like 9 10 11 12 age range to star wars and toy story land just seems extremely sad i bet a lot of people were upset about it but not as much as the amazing movie tour in the theater but now has changed to something even more less interesting it's like all these old childhood memories are all gone now and nothing can get them back from what stole them
