It did. Just got back from outside a strip club i drive past every day on my way to work. Jesus challenged me to get on my knees and pray in the parking lot. So I did. And I’m sharing this to encourage others. With Christ, all things are possible. He is going to do something there. Let’s expect God to be God, and use us daily for His glory!

Wow! As a fellow Charismatic / Pentecostal this provokes me to jealousy to see the goodness of God revealed! My family on my wife's side (who are awesome and I Love dearly) are Baptist/ cessationist, and this is so encouraging!
Pentecostal for decades here. I've been feeling convicted and drawn by Holy Spirit to BOLDLY GO. The song "Show Me Your Face" is ringing in my spirit and I'm so convicted by Holy Spirit for not trusting Him to prove Himself. Time for me to pray, worship and repent and GO!

Repentance is involved very greatly with the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
God wants us to bind ourselves to HIM.

I pray that you have this. Some people (me when I was practicing Islam) meet Him when they aren't even looking. He will do special things for believers especially.
Raised Baptist-KJV only-got saved at 22, alone in my car-the Holy Ghost revealed Himself to me. (Now I’m a Bapticostal ‼️) I wasn’t even saved until then. I thought I had to”earn” salvation.
I call myself bapticostal also. You cannot lose salvation and the Holy Spirit still fills and heals and speaks today!
@@terryfonz4603The baptism of the Holy Ghost has nothing to do with our salvation, but with empowerment to serve (casting out demons, healing etc.) I see it biblical + this is my experience also!
For example in Acts 18:13-19 we see people, who were saved bcs Philip preached them the gospel, but they haven't recived the power of the HG. It happened once Peter and John prayed and layed hands on them. The HG fell on them and they recieved the gifts of the HG. I recommend teachings of Derek Pr*nce or Robert M*rris here on YT. I was a very firm cessationist/baptist, but God humbled me. One morning (I was 4yo believer) the Holy Ghost fell on me filled me up (hard to describe, was very powerful) and i started to pray in tongues and since then my serving of the Lord started to be more powerfull. D*rek Pr*nc explain it similarly from the Bible that the baptism of the HG empowers you to serve God more powerfully and in fullness.
What kind of church do you attend?

The real answer 'because our theological position keeps the west broken and powerless.'
In my travels abroad, i have found that people knew and had a better picture of Jesus than we do at home.

@@johnbarnas879 majority of those who profess to be believers in the West. The people and culture to which I am akin.
Westernized churches have been steered by demonic influences for a long time. There are masonic and Jesuit influences inside the institution of American churches that has / is reducing what is available to believers. We have an anemic body here that are milk fed 🍼 ... So now there will be opportunities to be taught by The Holy Spirit and to find / start small fellowships. There is a wonderful teaching link at my community post on my channel teaching on The latter day rains / outpouring and work of the comforter. Now go on to follow him in the fullness of truth. Don’t stop at verse four of acts chapter 2, go down to verse 38. You must be born again. Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. There is only one God and his name is Jesus. Go All the way in. Praise the Lord!

Five men from the church I grew up in had a Holy Spirit fire encounter like the one describe here. They were praying in a camping trailer when they heard sirens. They continued to pray and the sirens pulled up right to the trailer door. As the men came out the fire on the roof faded away. The fire chief was angry and accused the men of putting flammable liquid on the roof. He climbed up to examine the top of the trailer. Finally the praying men realized what had happened. One of them read Acts Chapter 2 to the fire crew. Later it was discovered that one of the firemen accepted Jesus because of the incident. Oh, one of the men praying in the trailer that day was my father.
This is such an insanely good conversation. I love this guy Jeff right here. ❤ I wanna read his book. 📖 The part about the pillar of fire. 🔥 Gave me chills. THAT IS INCREDIBLE!! This stirs me up to seek and work on my OWN relationship with God!! I’ve never seen anything miraculous before I would love to see something like this in front of my eyes. But in order to see the things of God, there must be relationship. To get what he gets you have to do what he does.

By His stripes we are healed. He heals ANYONE
Both. Sometimes the wrong thing is being prayed for and that’s why the healing doesn’t happen.
Jesus said healing is children bread, the bible says God is the author and finisher of our faith, ask him to help you with your faith if you want to be healed, Don't act like you have faith, just ask him to help you

Would you say being a continuationist comes directly from the teachings of the Kingdom that Jesus Taught? We know Jesus didn’t Teach Healing but , the Kingdom of God. Jesus told us to preach the kingdom and heal people or set Free. He talks about Authority that He gave us to preach and heal. Is this what you’re basing this video on?

What don’t you understand? Continuationist believe that the Apostles and their functions never died out. Signs, Wonders , and Miracles have continued as when Jesus lived and was Fully Ascended!
So you can heal without prayer, cast out demons, drink poison, and live and canspeak languages you've never learned ?

I became very legalistic my first few years I was saved. I repented. God is good. We can know the Truth, but without Love we will be Pharisees.
This is true, having pharasitical tendencies is actually natural for most Christians we actively have to call out and fight against the legalist mentality
