I don't know. Other than survival, I haven't had any passions. It really hit me when you spoke about that. I'm wondering how and where to start on starting an internet business. How do you find out what you're passionate about?

Gary you nailed that question at the end, weather the interviewer got it or not. You can look someone in the eye and shake their hand firmly while plotting where to stick the knife. Authentic kindness, empathy and compassion, with real action behind it, is far more important that posturing,.

Man shout out to you Gary! This day last year I was homeless going from couch to couch and I couldn’t even see a future for myself you helped me get up and stop feeling sorry for myself, I ended up moving across the country alone and starting a UA-cam channel based on just tryin to find what exactly it is I love to do and documenting the journey so thank you so much for the inspiration everyday man! You rock!

I used to try to follow the money and have everything revolve around that, but lately, I've been caring more about finding happiness and a healthy balance in my life. Love the points you touch on in the video Gary, self-awareness is huge and something a lot of people don't understand, and it ends up creating a huge disconnect with what you're trying to accomplish (like a $100m business) and who you actually are at the moment (habits, what you do, your actions, etc) 🔥

on point as always, so much wisdom in this talk, most people forget the purpose of things or acts in different period of times in different societies and stick to the acts and make them the purpose rather then concentrating on the purpose itself, norms changes but purposes never changes ( being good has always been the purpose )

The more successful women entrepreneurs we interview for our channel the more we see two distinct categories. They are either just passionate about being entrepreneurs and looked around until they found a hole in the market and saw an opportunity and then created a business. The others had a passion and became "accidental entrepreneurs" or influencers based on something that happened in their lives. What is great is people get caught up in "passion and purpose" but you can just have a passion to be your own boss and it seems if you look around you'll see an opportunity. You just have to have the guts to act on it and be willing to work your ass off to succeed. You will get there but you have to work hard!

Lyndon Hodgins I don’t think it is that simple. We can have a mindset where we pick the best option of the ones we have, in that we choose our type suffering, instead of being passive and letting life choose our fate for us. Making life just a little better, and having chosen, committed to and created it for yourself, is enough to make life so so so much more meaningful. This is true for smiling and greeting people when you pass them by, to buying a cold drink for the workers in the hot sun when you pass them by, to utilising your skillset to do the best you can in your career. At that point, it goes beyond money, it’s conceptual. Happiness becomes a way of life.

You should absolutely do that! You can use your UA-cam channel to market the business, and you can create a subscription option as well where people who subscribe to the different levels of service can have their cars detailed at different pre-established time frames. You should. It’s a hot market. Start small and gradually work your way to establishing a luxury car wash.
