Awesome sized vehicle with a lift back to truly maximize the storage space. This was a very smooth car to drive with a comfortable seating position and nice interior tech. Great styling as well with clean lines all around!

Great informative video! Well done. I bought the Atreon hype way before the Arteon arrived in US. But not till I actually saw it and got to get behind the wheel of the SEL premium trim first hand did I truly appreciate every detail of the Arteon. It is a gorgeous piece of mobile art that is a practical daily driver. Arteon is not a sports car, it is a stylish sedan built for comfort. It is a tech savvy, clean minimalist comfortable spacious cabin combined with a sleek luxurious fastback exterior and enough torque and ponies under the hood for all daily driver needs. By no surprise this beauty exudes Audi DNA; afterall Audi is a luxury brand within the VW corporation. Arteon is for you if you want a comfortable stylish fastback sedan without the fully loaded Audi A5 price tag.

Honestly I see some Audi A7 in the Arteon and some A5 Sportback, but the Arteon has its own identity to me and looks nothing like anything else currently on the market. Under $50k for this car w/ everything one can get on a fully loaded model is quite sweet. Again, thank you.

In the trim you demoed, the rear hatch can be opened/closed by sweeping your foot under the rear -- no hands required. There is also a full size spare with matching wheel back there.
Volkswagen is starting to really kill it right now. That's a sharp car! You were right about how its laid out and the styling and I love the interior. I'm curious, did this car ride as good as some of the Audi(s) you test drove?

Rides exactly just like the A5 Sportback/A7. Just as quiet inside. Seats are phenomenal!

How do you get the upper LED lights to turn on? are they only on for turning? If they aren't a part of the DRL they seem useless.
They are either always on while the car is driving or just the turn signal. I'd assume they are on when the engine is running

That "pretty good amount of space" in the glove box isn't even enough to put the owners manual. There is a CD player in there, along with the slots for memory cards.

Totally new car that took the place and made a bigger difference separating it from the Passat

No HUD. Compass can be shown on the driver's display.

I really wanted to get one of these but couldn't justify the price. For $10k less, I got an equally equipped fully loaded Tiguan SEL Premium R-Line.
I have both. This is a MUCH better automobile.

they need to put a V6 in this.
Not really 2.0 tfsi has better both fuel consumption and performance with a massive power potential stage 1 remap gives u 310 hp without doing anything to the engine
@@Samarus8 Stage 1 Apr gives 368hp here in America. $599. If you want to keep the warranty get APR plus st1 349hp.

This is a very nice vehicle but at $47,000 the Kia stinger GT1 and the Genesis g70 are much better buys
They aren't. Quality is day and night, and a st1 APR tune for $599 gets you 368hp/387tq.
