- Cranial nerves VII - XII (OLD) - Dr Gill
These older clinical skills videos are being retired, but rather than delete them, I decided to archive them here
This neurological clinical skill is a real departure from the "standard" approach of inspection, palpation, percussion, and auscultation, which can initially cause issues when this clinical examination is encountered for the first time. Thankfully, the twelve cranial nerves have a good flow, and with appropriate practice can easily be completed in a 10-minute OSCE station

I realize you work hard to provide your vast medical knowledge but I gotta admit your voice gives me asmr unlike alot of people on here. Very calming after a 12 hour shift for sure and for that I thank you.
No most of us are here for ASMR too
@@No1SlapFIGHTFan it's like no matter what video someone's gotta add there 2 cents to my comments to the creator.
@@stevemiller.Read your original comment. It sounds like you are saying that most people here don’t appreciate his ASMR-like voice, but you do. I’m guessing that’s not what you are saying?

-Dr. Gill: So are you aware of any difficulties with your hearing at the moment?
-Patient: No
Dr. Gill: Thank you

I didn’t read that it was an old vid and from the thumbnail I was shocked that she hadn’t aged a day 😂

He’s my favorite. Happy holiday dr gill!!!!!!
This was Great Keep Up The Good Work 👍
The primary learning here is a methodology of interacting with patients, but short explanations like text descriptors might help people understand what each test is looking for. Non-medical people like me might enjoy it, and medically inclined people wouldn't just copy you without understanding the reasoning for each test.
Thank you James. Your videos are always eagerly awaited. Merry Christmas 🎄 🎄❤
I always used to imagine that Dr Gill was trying to trick patients into saying "Ahhh nice and long" but they never fell for it.
I remember watching this ages ago
So are you re-uploading all the old videos?
The old one of this is still there and are you re-uploading the ones you weren't in?
