Hello, Fred! " Welcome back, Judy Garland!". This was the beginning of the most glorious period of MGM musicals, which would definitely remain in everyone's memory. Much, much of this is due to Conrad Salinger's arrangements; a difficult task where you have to present a beautiful, sumptuous base, rich in styles, but which cannot stand out more than whoever sings. A masterpiece of accuracy! Thanks and bye!!

“Easter Parade” (1948) is one of the prime examples of Hollywood’s (especially MGM’s) fruitful time bringing musicals to the big screen. Originally intended to star Gene Kelly next to Judy Garland, Kelly's broken arm and recommendation would bring Fred Astaire to the plan. The result is a great chemistry between the two stars.
The music was based on titles by Irving Berlin, which were superbly arranged by the legendary Conrad Sallinger and his colleague Roger Edens (just listen to the exciting “Steppin' Out With My Baby”).
Enjoy the music and happy Easter to all of you!

I don't know the composers, but from the suite it looks like a good musical!
Research: The protagonist was supposed to be Gene Kelly, but the dancer got injured.
It is the only film in which Fred Astaire and Judy Garland dance together, reaching with the number “A Couple Of Swells” one of the highest points of their respective careers.
It was the highest-grossing film in 1948 and in 1949 it won the Oscar for best soundtrack.
In Italy, the film is titled "Ti amavo senza saperlo".

I hope 🤞🏻 I’m not asking much. Maybe 🤔 you can also add to your list The Wizard of Oz (1939). How’s that for a neat idea 💡?
