"You'll never run away" proves how much Blake has grown. She initially ran away from everyone adding onto the abandonment issues Yang gained from losing both of her mothers, but unlike them, Blake actually came back for her and stayed by her side. Yang also waited for her and didn't push her away for not being good enough like Adam did. They truly are made for each other 💜💛
One day, my older sister came to me and offered me to check out a show she and my mom were watching, i was ten i think, and the three of us watched RWBY on a crappy laptop, laughing, crying, screaming with joy. I have to thank RWBY for helping me throughout most of my life, especially Blake and Yang were with me into my journey realizing and accepting I'm lesbian, to my ten years old self faking to dislike wlw ships to me crying and screaming to this scene and magnificent song, it felt like my whole life I've been waiting for that damn kiss.
We still are regularly watching RWBY, six years to that faithful day I watched the first episode. Thank you again RWBY and everyone who made it possible, I wouldn't be me if it wasn't for you💛💜

If anyone actually thinks that Bumbleby is only cannon because the fandom bullied Rooster Teeth into making it real. Then you need to watch the episode of "Always Open" where Barbara Dunkleman and Arynn Zech confirmed that Blake and Yang falling in love is something that was planned from the beginning of the series. This is something that Monty Oum wanted to happen.
Some of them have already said that that’s somehow a lie, like come on man.

Honestly, They've planted these seeds since Volume 2, Bmblb part 1 was in the V4 sound track. Blade and Yang's relationship has always been there, if anything this should have happened sooner, It felt weird being in V9 alongside Ruby's mental breakdown.

I'll never let you out of my sight." are referring to The Fall of Beacon when Blake couldn't stop Adam from attacking Yang and cutting off her arm "But I'll catch you, this time." and when Yang couldn't find Blake before Adam attacked her "I'll never let you out of my sight.".
Such a heartwarming song! If they were to redo the confession scene with Yang and Blake actually singing these lines aloud, it would be like a scene straight out of a Disney movie. 💛🐝🖤

It the forced together odd couple who don't like each other at first then warm then alternative love interests and separation added in only to finally come back to the first pair. And Romance tales normally are first couple or last couple.

I went back and watched a bunch of old clips and it made me realize the whole "they built up blacksun to be canon bumbleby came out of nowhere" argument isnt. True? Blake and sun have a really similar dynamic in volumes 4 and 5 to blake and yang's in volumes 1-3, sun and yang are both friends to blake who are consistently there for her and have serious conversations with her when she needs it and support her fights. The only real difference is that sun was openly romantic towards her, which has absolutely nothing to do with how blake felt about him (especially because she never reciprocated at all). They even both danced with her at the beacon dance, sun doesnt even have that to himself. Blacksun and bumbleby had pretty much the same dynamic from the beginning, but bumbleby had about 7 more volumes of development and its the one that ended up being canon. The argument against it holds no weight at all when you actually look at their dynamics side by side
And as a romance tale it normally first couple wins like this tale. Blake and Yang being BI threw folks off.
I think they always coded Blake as a bi-character. But the way I always saw her and Sun as part of a path she needed to to take to overcome her own trauma from her past with Adam and the White Fang. Blake needed to overcome that in order to have room in her life for other relationships.

1:27 I think this is stil Casey singing so it should be purple for Blake instead of yellow, and the whole next part sung by Ariyel should be yellow for Yang
If you watched the episode you'd know that Casey's lines (Voice 1) tie to Yang. Yang was hesitant while Blake was confident. Which makes sense when you realize Yang has had to deal with people who were supposed to love her leaving her. Raven took off, Summer got herself killed, and hell even Blake ran after The Fall of Beacon. Additionally, Blake has been fighting for most of her life as a member of the White Fang before she ditched and went to Beacon so the line "I've only ever known the fight" fits her and that's an Ariyel line (Voice 2).

Okay I know I'm super late but... I was trying to arrange the song for clarinet choir and I was struggling to count it for a second there. It's in 7/8 (Counted like 1-te 2-te 3-te-te) which is genuinely really rare in any music that isn't meant for concert band because, well, it's a hard time signature to follow unless you are locked in. A lot of modern pop or hip-hop songs tend to be in simpler time signatures like 4/4, 3/4 or compound ones like 6/8 or 12/8. Anyways Music Nerd's rambling aside, I love the song. It's truly a perfect song for the kiss that we had been waiting years for.

This song reminds me of my old friends and allies who I work with in the past I was in the Warhammer community being an Inquisitor, but I have to part ways with them some I wasn't able to say my goodbyes to, yes I do miss them all yes. But when I came to the RWBY community it brought me many things that gave me some hope and meeting new people that don't want to start a conflict with you cause you are with someone group they hate or they just don't like you. I know there are bad eggs in every community but this community is the only one I know I can call home, but I hope one day my old friends and I paths cross one last time so we can share the stories of our journeys and some good laughs.

Why does everyone get it wrong? First voice is Yang lines. Second voice is Blake lines. It's obvious from the scene. Edit: OK, so you are just randomly coloring the lines. That makes more sense and it slightly less annoying.

Gorgeous song that gets even more amplified by Casey's talk about it on Insta, showing how much they get what this relationship means to people and the love they put into the song as a result. The whole crew knocked it out of the park as a result.
Also the Bmblb argument can be put to rest, its now confirmed locked in canon by virtue of having a part 2 within the show. So woo for one less argument to be had (though I know there'll be some that still will do it anyway)
