This is such a classic Phantom show, even if it doesn’t get a whole lot of attention anymore. Although, I think most of Phantom’s shows from this era and earlier could be considered classics; they’re all just that good. Also, that drill, tho. I miss seeing people jazz running in so many different directions to form so many different shapes.
I could not agree with you more. This show is quintasensually PR and lives up to their esthetic. Some of the work being done here is old school and modern. I wish I could speak more eloquently but suffice to say, I think, this is one of their masterworks and should be counted as such.
Really makes you wonder "what happened?" It's crazy to think that this was just 12 years ago, but a lot happens in 12 years I suppose. It also blows my mind how much acoustic effect they get without ANY aide of electronics.
i marched bloo in 07 and phantom was definitely one of my favorite shows of the year. always enjoyed hearing/seeing it around. i thought they should've been in third.

yeah they were cleaner by .025 its still cleaner... even if they did win most of the capitions but they still lost and in my thoughts they were not that clean i've watched BD's show in high cam on the finals DVD and it wasn't very clean at all... regiment on the other hand was very clean so in my thoughts BD was overrated im just saying...

I got to see them live for finals week. Such an amazing wall of sound they had. To this day I still watch this show at least once a month

it was an especially challenging show for them. i think that helped set the bar for 08, which was also noticably physically challenging.
