@@in2vert I just remember when I myself was learning how pose mode works, and I had a hard time learning these commands because few people explained it. Still great video tho!
@@in2vert although you may be right, not everyone is able to use ALT+R due to incompatibility with the commands of Nvidia, and since this was one of the most difficult mechanics to understand when I started, I think it should always be said.
@@deletedddddddddd despite the fact that CTRL+R doesn't reset the bone position, ALT+R is disabled in certain version of windows, that's why I give another way to do it.
Each video says, use the rigify plugin. What if I already have a rig without a rigifay? And I don't have the strength to correct the weights after switching to rigify. I just need to figure out how to move, for example, the whole body except for one leg.
@in2ver would you please tell me, how did you set your anchor point at the bottom to scale it like this at 1:15? Mine is always at the middle, so its very annoying to adjust it ;( Awesome tutorial!
Hi thanks for making this tutorial! I have a question, at 8:07, when he saying "select all the bones and insert key frames...", I don't understand what are the "bones" in this case and have no idea where he's selecting. And I got the error saying "No active keying set", when I try to insert. Where exactly I need to select here?
No, unfortunately I have no full course for animation. But I can strongly recommend the animation courses of @PierrickPicaut_P2DESIGN. This gut is just awesome when it comes to animation. However I have to watch his videos in 2x speed ;) Greetings to Pierrick, awesome job!
Hi in2vert, how are you doing? I really appreciate your tutorials esp this character animation video, however it would have helped some of us beginners if you slowed down a little so that we can follow along with whatever keys or button you pressed b4 whatever happens. This video is what i want to learn more about in blender however i couldnt follow along since you are too fast in it. thanks for the video and i would be glad if you do same video but on a slow pace. Thanks and have a nice day!
@@in2vert Thats okay by me if I jave to pay to learn that stuff. Blender is equipped with lots of stuffs and i dont wanna go crazy wanting to learn everything but just the animation . Thanks and will be waiting when the video is ready and i'll go pay for it on your patreon page.
You have to use the pause Button. This is not a live follow along Video, but a step by step, where you watch some steps, pause the video and try it by yourself :)
Agreed as animator this is more advanced version i can understand but for some who trying to learn basic this is not right one , title is wrong , bouncing ball is best one to learn for beginners
@@gamesense4375 True, but this is a video about how to learn character animation and not the basics of animation and blender. I think I will change the title :)
i feel I could comfortably do this even without a decent chunk of blender experience everything so well explained thankyou for this tutorial!!
2:35 To reset your pose: ALT+A/S/R or Pose (left-up corner) -> Clear -> All

@@in2vert I don't know, I have the Nvidia issue too, but I don't use ALT+R, since both Q and F3 commands are faster shortcut
in pose mode just press A and ctrl+r to reset... doesnt need to be complicated....

This is well presented. It is coming on very well
