    This WWII re-enactment at Camp Atterbury in Indiana was truly one of my favorite events. Being able to put yourself in the shoes of a WWII soldier is one of the best ways to learn about what the greatest generation truly experienced in the 1940s. Make sure to check out my other videos from this event in the playlist linked above!

    • @matthewjames4334
      @matthewjames4334 11 місяців тому

      The m1 bazooka works almost exactly like a model rocket…. I don’t remember the exact components of it but the m1 used either battery pack or buzz coil… and when you pressed the trigger you were either breaking the ground or providing if I don’t remember exactly… it would then send a charge to the terminals on the back of the tube which the rocket was wired to …. The rockets basically had a spark plug in them that would ignite the propellant charge which vented out of 6 angled vents in the rocket that applied spin for stabilization…..
      Watching them use this m1a1 it honestly looks like it is working the same way………
      If you want to just make a big puff of smoke…. Get a fire pit push bottom striker…. You can get them at wall mart…. They create a spark when pressed….. but a repro bazooka for $500
      Put that striker in the trigger mechanism and run the wiring back to the contact clip and make paper black powder charges with cardboard map or poster tubes….. either stick a spark plug in them or put two screws in the card board close enough to make an arc….. wire then to the contacts and presto you have a 20-30 lbs smoke machine.

    Was at the Atterberry event. Not gonna lie, it wasn't really the greatest. The only fun I got was during the night and town battles. Either way, getting into uniform and shooting at GIs was still fun.

      there’s a general rule that if you’re out in the open, or if a barrel is pointed at you; you get hit. of course, there’s cheaters. but i wouldn’t understand why, it’s a reenactment, therefore people shouldn’t cheat lulz

    • @Michigan_npc
      @Michigan_npc Рік тому +2

      It's a guessing game mostly see a muzzle flash go down but also most people just believe if they see a gun fire somewhat near them like looking at them they go down or if an enemy says DOWN after shooting you if it's close quarters
