I just bought my first bike, 2015 xg500 with V&H exhaust. I absolutely love the sound. I still have the same issue with the mirrors......
I bought the red and black ones from Walmart.com and the handle bar mounts. I see everything perfectly. Was less than $50.00 for all.

Love ruby's color. My 2015 street 500 is the satin black. Previous owner fitted a screaming eagle muffler which sounds awesome. I absolutely love riding this bike, but the foot pegs position isn't the greatest imo, in 90 degrees right-turns at traffic lights if scraped something under the exhaust several times. So, not impressed with the lean angle either really. But overall a great wee bike. And so far seems reliable, but I've only had it for around 3 weeks and it only has about 7,600 km on the odometer (I'm in New Zealand, we're metric)
Glad you got one there are several foward controls kits out there. I have been debating about getting them . Good luck with it keep safe.
