Does anyone else get more excited about the gift wrap and tissue paper more than the gift itself? My family thinks I am weird because of that.
ROFLOL!! I am same way but my grown children understand how I roll and my daughter makes the gift wrapping/tissue as part of the gift--Do you get excited to get stickers, too?
Oh, I’m always excited about the wrapping! My family knows this, and they pick gift wraps and tissue papers that they know will enjoy reusing! 🤭

What a joy to watch you flip through and sort out gorgeous ephemera and images, such a gentle and relaxed approach, a little here and a little there, so inspiring. My family laughs all the time about how I will say, "Oh, I can use that somehow!" when it has anything to do with PAPER, but they have started saving things for me that I can use in my journaling or memory keeping! I love what you make, every single time, and everything just comes together so nicely but it's always things I wouldn't THINK of, myself. But thank you for the tips and tricks, even though I think it just comes naturally to some people (like you, Cat), but I'll keep trying. TFS :)
Thanks so much for your kind words, P. J. Here’s an idea for you: make a little journal and use it to hold your favorite ideas from myself and other creators. Copy the techniques we use and put them in the journal and use it as a reference when you can’t think of what to make. 😊

Cat, I'm loving how your spring journal is coming along. I'm way behind. I got hung up trying to find freezer paper so I've decided to skip that part and just apply the napkin another way. You inspire me to get my butt in gear!!!

What is the iron you use to iron the napkin to parchment paper?
I used a regular iron and adhered the napkin to *freezer* paper - nothing will stick to parchment paper. I used the parchment paper to cover the napkin+freezer paper before ironing, so that the excess plastic from the freezer paper wouldn’t melt onto the surface of my iron.
Did you finish your Blooming Junk Journal ... I watched video 9 and no 10. !?
