There's a moment at the end of this video that I can not easily explain. Rocco is laughing, then he stops and looks shocked as the gum falls out of his mouth. One might think that his shock is due to the gum falling out of his mouth, but it's easy to see that that comes after and is a consequence of the shock, rather than a cause for it. I like to think of this moment as his character realizing the immense horror of what he's done. Of how trivial the internet age can make content and interaction. If Grape was real, this moment would be the first thing I'd upload.
I appreciate that the future of the internet is always obvious when you follow what makes the most money. But you never see it coming because what makes the most money is so insanely stupid and an overall downgrade that no one would want to do the idea.
I saw "8 years ago", and thought this was the actual cancellation of Vine. While this both showcases and predicts the platform's movement well, the compilation rings disappointingly accurate to something that's grown beyond one app.
Shaun's line about limiting video length was pretty funny considering Mega64's own 3 minute rule, and how the video is exactly 3 minutes long. Subtle self deprecation, clever.
I liked Vine a lot but there was so much shit on there and it should have been 10 seconds not 6, 6 is such a weird number. Even 8 would make more sense.
The funny thing is time-restrictions, like any other artistic restrictions, actually FOSTER creativity. when you have preset limits it lets you focus on reducing your content to its essence. that's what minimalism is!
Why is it that these guys no longer have as many videos that involve the classic awkward interactions with strangers and the public? What happened to those skits? Every time I see a new video I'm just anxious to see them go to a street or a mall and start behaving erratically like their old skits... But it doesn't happen anymore.
Like the video but I have to disagree with Shawn at the end, I think that often limitations can test and push a persons creativity rather than inhibit it.
In the future our attention spans will be even shorter. One second will feel like a whole nine minute UA-cam video. Maybe we should all be destroyed...
You guys predicted the future. Which is now the present
Which is now the past.
If Vine came back again, time now would be like time then times ten
@@KraffyBagel sick rap 🤙
Whic is now the past
vine was much better than tiktok :(
YOU DID THIS ROCCO! YOU KILLED VINE!
Great right?
BadassFreeman yup he did he killed Vine R.I.P VINE
Good riddance
Yeah, and now the fuckers have taken over UA-cam. Great job, guys. The one thing that would've kept this cancer from spilling over is gone.
And now we have TicToc.
this video predicted x just got the letter wrong
This video was 179 seconds long.
That's worth at least a million Grape compilations.
This is literally every modern meme compilation today...Mega 64 has become reality again.
There's a moment at the end of this video that I can not easily explain.

the gasp at the end of hamilton has nothing on this
It's crazy how I also thought of his shock of realizing the monster he's created, love this comment.
This comment has somehow stayed with me for over 8 years
He finally did it, the absolute madman
Vine was stupid. TikTok is worse.
That dance at the beginning always gets me
Oh sorry I'm hot shit
one thing i wanna say is
RavageTheJaguar falls down
DARK SOULS
Is it bad that I actually find these funny enough that I want this to exist now
+LonePorkchop It's happened.
I used to think Vine was overrated, but boy would I rather Vine over Tik Tok...
lol, I love how the gum keeps falling out of his mouth in almost every shot. XD
Seeing an ad for tik tok before this video is indeed a profetic sight
Holy shit, they predicted 21st century humor compilations.
....That Grape compilation was actually pretty funny.
this never stops being relevant
They should have brought him back but for NFTs
What the heck is that noise 1:14 to 1:16 when he has the Nike video on lol.
6 years later and no one knows :(
@@StardustSynchron sad day

Man... They predicted the death of Vine AND the rise of Vine Compilatins in recent years. They made this video 6 years ago. That’s fucking eerie.
Yeah and now it got real with Boomerang.
+Liaret The "T" twitter killer also got real: natter.com/
kojima-esque prophecy
UA-cam shorts hates this video
Still amazing
I wish I was as cool as Rocco.
So, Now that Vine is actually dead.
You guys gonna release Grape anytime soon?
I fucking want that Fucking FOXHOUND PHONE COVER :O
Damn, it really is dead now.
2:58 minuets to long. Did not watch.
I appreciate that the future of the internet is always obvious when you follow what makes the most money. But you never see it coming because what makes the most money is so insanely stupid and an overall downgrade that no one would want to do the idea.
Especially when X comes out
I saw "8 years ago", and thought this was the actual cancellation of Vine. While this both showcases and predicts the platform's movement well, the compilation rings disappointingly accurate to something that's grown beyond one app.
you did it
you actually did it
you madman
I love how rocco's gum falls out like 20 times
I love how for like 10 years now, every time one of them has an emotional moment it's always the same song.
this might be my favorite skit of theirs
Good God, if you could have only seen the dystopian nightmare that is TikTok coming
I would actually download this app
Sr. Pickle Yeah. You probably shouldn't admit to that.
RT podcast anyone?
Should we even respond to these types of comments anymore? What do you guys think?
haha look up the whitest kids u know sketch The Grapist its fucking hilarious, a pitch for a kids commercial for a juice mascot
"Grapist"
Fuck. Well ok, this is now.
Vine is dead.. what does that mean? I don't even know what it means?! Why?
OHHHH ATLANTIC CITY BABY
The amount of time his gum falls out of his mouth.
UA-cam shorts / Instagram reels in a nutshell 😂
One of the greatest videos of all time! Roccos dance is priceless!
Mega64 internet godz
After 3 years I still say "Ooooh Atlantic City Bay-Bee!" in everyday conversation.
Goodbye Vine, Hello Grape
The moment you realise that it's not gum in his mouth, but grapes.
Jeremy Bowen no, it's gum
"you barely see that g"
Vine is dead and we killed it
The grape compilation is one of funniest things I’ve seen
What the fuck is a vine?
Sounds like a copy of Grape to me
I think DK swings on it
Shaun's line about limiting video length was pretty funny considering Mega64's own 3 minute rule, and how the video is exactly 3 minutes long. Subtle self deprecation, clever.
Mega64 was right again
tfw vine really is dead
BeReal is going to steal this idea
Grape is better than Tik Tok
I wonder if they'll do a video when TikTok gets banned and finally dies...
this Channel is basicly If smosh where funny
I liked Vine a lot but there was so much shit on there and it should have been 10 seconds not 6, 6 is such a weird number. Even 8 would make more sense.
This is no different then what I see now

This isn't actually bad...WHY ARE WE NOT ENDORSING THIS!!!!!!!
'Gloup'
Reminds me of those “1 second from every always sunny episode” videos
Why is it that these guys no longer have as many videos that involve the classic awkward interactions with strangers and the public? What happened to those skits? Every time I see a new video I'm just anxious to see them go to a street or a mall and start behaving erratically like their old skits... But it doesn't happen anymore.
this is a comedic masterpiece that I can't believe and i always come back to
i luv u m64
I swear this vid was just a excuse for Derrick to show off his sick fingerboard flip tricks
Look for gloup app!! you predicted man!
Like the video but I have to disagree with Shawn at the end, I think that often limitations can test and push a persons creativity rather than inhibit it.
“The absence of limitations is the enemy of art.”― Orson Welles
The ironic thing here is that you wouldn't even be able to say that sentence on twitter due to it's limitations.
The end is near...someone please buy out vine.
I just got graped
"I didn't know we were doing special ed class"
people like grapes
wow did mega64 predicted tik tok
Shawn nails it for me. For the very few vines I have seen, I swear they had the same set up and punchline.
I said it 6 years ago, and I'll say it again. I want that zip up jacket.
2:34 PK GRIND!
This video couldn't be any more true and/or relevant right at this very moment.

It might be too late, but you can find the full vid in the Behind The Scenes for this vid.
YOU KILLED IT
These guys should be given credit for knowing before everybody else that Vine would eventually die.
This was a good video.
In the future our attention spans will be even shorter. One second will feel like a whole nine minute UA-cam video.
Maybe we should all be destroyed...
