Awesome guys. For next time, here are some tips: go easy on the salad, the gold here is the MEAT. Never let your plate get too full or the meat will get cold, just say "agora não, obrigado" (not now, thank you) most of the time, that meat will come back! Try a little of each cut, decide which ones you like best, and ask them specifically to the waiter later on. Also, ask two side plates to be put on the table, one for left-overs, another for new stuff that doesn´t fit on your plate. From time to time a waiter should pick up the left-overs plate, but if he doesn´t, ask the plate to be taken away and replaced. The creamy rice is a very traditional Italian recipe called " Rice Piemontese " from the Piemonte region in Italy. Rice with fresh milk cream, parmesan cheese, champignons (mushrooms), salt and pepper. Usually side dish to filet-mignon escalopes in thick red wine sauce.
In Brazilians, we usually eat less rice so we can eat more meat. 😊I eat so much that I make the gerete cry 😅🤣🤣🤣🤣 Ps. In my city there is a steakhouse that includes desserts.

A good churrascaria is a churrascaria where they don't let you breath between each piece of meat they're offering hahahah. By the way, you should know that Churrasco is a traditional meal from the south of Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul), which has influence from Argentina and Uruguay. They take you to the place and pick you up later.
In the south there are some rodízios de fondue. They have meat, cheese, chocolate... its amazing And eat pão de queijo with cream cheese (requeijão) or margarine
Wow - everything looked so delicious.. I´ve been to Recife a long time ago never tried the Churrascaria, but the salad bar looks amazing... The meat options are the standard, here in Sao Paulo they usually do that system that Lindsey mentioned - cardboard by the plate that you flip to say yes or no - yes more meat, no meat for now... That white thingy they put in your place is strange, never seen it... I loved grilled pineapple of the churrascarias, maybe they don´t have it in Recife.... it also comes in a stick and it´s delicious... Finally, a good meal and you did what Brazilians on vacation usually do - eat a lot then take a great nap!

Bom passeio!
Welcome to Brazil ,enjoy and be happy.
Brazilian steakhouses are a great option if you want to eat healthy food, with fresh vegetables and seasoned and roasted meat in order to enhance the flavor of the meat! When in doubt, always choose a Rodízio steakhouse. ("Rodízio" is the system where waiters serve you at the table, the amount of food you can eat, for a fixed price)
We love rodizio
Yes! But who'd pay that price to eat grass?? Vegetables and leaf greens I eat at home!!

He is American and loves Brazil.
I am from Recife. Please go to the historical part of the city and maybe Olinda too! Also go to the museum Ricardo Brennand, i realy like there!
Secret to go to a Brazilian churrascaria: eat only breakfast if you go for dinner and nothing if you go to lunch. You can find places like that all over Brazil. Some are fency and some don't but the food is awesome
You should go to Gramado, in the south of Brazil. Gramado has amazing places which serves what we call "Café Colonial". It's like a brunch but with steroids
Hi guys, I work in a churrascaria in Sioux Falls, I make the desserts and other Brazilian things there, like cheese bread and feijoada. When you guys come back home the name is Carnaval Brazilian grill!!
10:51 This is the famous picanha. :)
16:20 What you are feeling now is completely normal.
Here we call ourselves: bateu a tristeza / a stroke of sadness
(it is the feeling we feel after a good meal) we are literally sad!
This system of rotation you need to say what you want and can refuse the food you do not want, just say yes or no. I love these restaurants.
I always follow your channel. Its amazing! its getting better and better! I have a travel channel too and I've improved a lot my channel just watching your channel and learning how to do. Thanks Alex!
The sausage here in the south of Brazil we call "salsichão" it means "a big sausage"
The subtitle translated “churrascaria” as “Jurassic area”. 😂
OMG, you are in Boa Viagem! My father lives in the Boa Viagem avenue! Nice you tried our churrascaria.
Good to see you guys enjoying the best things from my country, food and nature
Try torta de limão in next time.....and try locals foods like carne de sol, carne de cordeiro.
Now you had one of the real Brazilian experiences. When I go to a churrascaria at the lunch time I am not able to eat anything else until the end of the day... Lindsey should taste "cupuaçu", almost of the times you can find it at the same place where u buy açaí...Try it and be happy Lindsey! Hahahahaha
The energy in Brazil. Well deserved meal experience. 🤗🌹🇧🇷🇨🇦 I love when you guys move the camera, the noise it makes. 🥰🥰 it’s iconic of the channel.
12:07 it's risotto. Special rice with seasonings and cheese.
Eles comendo e eu engolindo a saliva! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Brazilian food looks decent. I’d definitely give it a try 👍
That looked amazing!
In Brazilians, we usually eat less rice so we can eat more meat. 😊I eat so much that I make the gerete cry 😅🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ps. In my city there is a steakhouse that includes desserts.
WOW! You are eating like a queen and king. Finally a decent meal after weeks of "ok" food. I´m relieved and happy for you. I don´t eat meat but a churrascaria is a meat-lover paradise. Brazil is the main beef exporter in the world.
Vocês precisam conhecer João Pessoa - PB, pôr do sol na praia do jacaré e as praias do litoral sul, tambaba, coqueirinho, praia Bela 😘 ah já ia esquecendo e ir almoçar no restaurante Mangai !!!
tambaba nao é nudismo onde gravavam o panico? kkkkkkkkkkkkkk
A good churrascaria is a churrascaria where they don't let you breath between each piece of meat they're offering hahahah. By the way, you should know that Churrasco is a traditional meal from the south of Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul), which has influence from Argentina and Uruguay. It is a very, very different culture from the rest of Brazil and the specialists are all in the South. These churrascarias are so good that were exported to the whole country and also the world.
Miss my homeland so much! If you can, go to a beach called "Coroa do Avião" (airplane's crown). It's located in the island of Itamaracá. You will see an old dutch fort called Forte Orange, a historical site. Very nice place. To go to the Coroa, you need to rent a boat. There are lots of them. They take you to the place and pick you up later.
Recife minha terra natal, amo
In the south there are some rodízios de fondue. They have meat, cheese, chocolate... its amazing
And eat pão de queijo with cream cheese (requeijão) or margarine
thanks for showing the best things in my country!!

Deu água na boca. Lindo esse vídeo. Parabéns ao casal!
Brazil is a big and weird country, all the fruits and vegetables you guys are trying I´ve never seen before or heard of. Thanks for introducing me to new things from my own place
I've followed your videos since you arrived in Rio de Janeiro. I like to see the view that Americans have of Brazil. Here is my suggestion: Come to João Pessoa! It is 2 hours from recife, here there are wonderful beaches like praia de tambaba (famous nudist beach) and coqueirinho beach that has beautiful landscapes with canyons. I believe you would love the city!
i'm brazilian i was on youtube looking for videos in english to practice my listening, i found your channel. I watch it every day and I like to see you showing my Brazil! success for you!
it is easy to find out a foreginer in a Churrascaria: They take lots of salads.
They are so happy! 😋😋😋

I’m pretty sure that the creamy rice was “risotto”.
Arroz a Piemontese

All this in covid times... I mean, Brazil is The place to be right now... everything is big and widespread - so wearing masks and keeping the social distancing we can live an almost normal life until the vaccine comes to all of us...
aaaaa, you guys are like meters away from where I live. I hope you are enjoying Recife as much as I do ❤️ can't wait for the videos in our bridges
12:00 I think thats Piamontese Rice, "arroz a pimontese", that´s rice with cheese and table cream.
You guys HAVE to try either a Brazilian pizzaria or a sushi place when you get back to São Paulo for your flight back. I recommend Aoyama for sushi, it’s awesome and delicious and you eat A LOT
Edit: just remembered Alex is allergic to gluten, so definitely go to the sushi place. It’s unlike anything you have had before and a nice way to wrap up your stay in Brazil
Parabens pelas postagens, acompanho todas.
Go to João Pessoa, it is the next capital north of Recife. The distance between the two is only 120 km. There are many good things to see there, including one of the biggest viewpoints in Brazil, called Mirante SkyBeach, in one of the tallest buildings in the Brazilian Northeast. There are many beautiful beaches to see in the State of Paraíba.
When you are in João Pessoa you need to go at least to the Mangai restaurant. There are typical foods from the northeast of Brazil. It is a famous restaurant across the country.
