Apologies on delay for uploads. I had the release week off but been busy this week so I’ll try to squeeze something out soon. I want to bring something to everyone’s attention which you may have noticed for those who played through the game - Bloober did not use all of Akira’s new music from the official OST. Instead they opted for the original game’s OST for several sections which is fine…but I cannot do any extensions of songs not in the game until the official soundtrack has been released. What gets me is I believe the Abstract Daddy fight had different music than what we got (which is just the original OST’s track) and unless there’s some sort of unannounced DLC they for whatever reason didn’t use them. This includes Abstract Torment and Betrayal’s Reverie and possibly dozens more. In fact maybe every time we heard a track from the original game as it was Akira may have composed a new one for that location but Bloober didn’t use it.
If you use headphones, you'll notice that for the first half (ceiling), the cymbal rhythm, reminiscent of a Chinese funeral drumbeat, seems to shift erratically between your left and right ears signifying the unpredictable drop point. The cymbal sound becomes static in the second half (spider) as if it's straight up coming for you.
You know what I just notice now about the remake? If you listen very closely and carefully at the beginning? You can just barely hear the original boss theme from the 2001 version.
Hey bro, if it's not too much to ask, can you upload the track that plays when you reach the first save point in the brookhaven hospital? It's in the reception room where you get the key.
@@lBorosDavidl where does it play? It doesn’t sound like any of the tracks associated with the fight with Abstract Daddy. I can only extend songs present in the game and some of them are still unused like Betrayal’s Reverie
@@lBorosDavidl yeah I think Bloober chose not to use all of Akira’s music and instead chose to reuse the original game’s soundtrack for some sequences. I think he DID make new boss tracks it’s just Bloober wanted to keep as close to SH2’s vibe as possible and reuses some of the old stuff..this is probably the intended boss track based on listening to it. Once the OST is out I’ll work on it

This is pretty good. I am so happy it's finally uploaded lol. I have been searching every day to see if someone uploaded it.

No clue sadly. Haven't played the game yet. All I know it was on disc 3 of the original soundtrack preview Konami released.

This sounds nothing like Akira or the past industrial music. The original tracks are so much better.
