As a visitor you lose all sense of time and direction, have no idea where you are or how you got there. But Old Delhi is like that (I've been there). You get lost in an ocean of streets and people. I could practically smell it - the food, the incense, the rot, changing every moment, each minute a new set of sights, sounds, smells. This video captures a lot of that.....
For me, India is the most beautiful country in the world. In fact, it is not a country, but another world. A good and beautiful world. So, it become even a family. A great family. And I feel that I'm part of this family. I love India, with all. Not exist poor people or rich people. Exist people. With soul. Maybe is another world. But on the same planet. Thanks and I wish you all the best, with health and happiness, in peace ! Sincerely, Dinu, 60, from Romania ~ Namaste _ / | \ _
God damn it, it is so unlawful, dirty, and polluted. How could you ever like somewhere like that? (Especially that you come from the beautiful land of Romania)
There was a time when I used to walk on the street of my beloved country, when I rent or record any movie at least 30% of that I fast forward but these videos I rewind several time, there may be many changes but purani dilli is same as I left in 1968.Many many thanks to all you production.
+John Miller yes, we stayed at the C Park Inn Hotel in Karol Bagh. It was tidy and had western toilettes. The next morning thrn we got by Tuk Tuks to the Delhi Central Station.
So fascinating. What strikes me is the way the electric lines are strug up in what look like tangled bundles! I hope they don't catch fire...It really looks busy and amazing.
i love it. Thank for makin g us discovered india through such a nice and authentic trips ... Congrat dr ... i would love to see more post like this of travelling around cities of india
OK let me tell you something : Why don't you go to kannaught place, delhi Why don't you go to gurgaon delhi Why don't you go to New Delhi Why don't you go to noida Why don't you go to south delhi. The problem is that when foreign people go to countries like usa and UK they don't show homeless people. When they go to Jakarta or bangkok they don't show slums, but when they come to India they go in such areas which is only a single area of Delhi. Im not a patriot like other Indians as such, but when someone shows my country like this. I want to say you should also see good places
there is something very relaxing not giving a fuck and just living with the dirt. was there for a month. cant really expalin it. in the west u constantly have to worry bout ur cleaness
I'm using this video for an observation study (as part of my homework) and I would be really thankful if you could remember the date you've filmed this awesome video! :)
Interesting how rare the verbal interaction with passers-by. My experience in India is that someone approaches every five minutes or so if I move in a pedestrian fashion. The documentation photography on a surface sense allows for vicarious participation. However on a more profound sense its a view into a possible world. It allows for reflections on international relations and the developing world.
It's always amazing to me the numbers of people out and about whenever I see videos of India and Africa. Large populations, people are out making things happen. You get a sense that people can't afforf liesure time.
Are bhaiya bohat shukry, baithe bithaaye dilli ki sair kradi aap ka bohat shukriya, bday arse se dilli ghumne ka shok tha, again thanks From : Pakistan

Awesome video dude. How do you manage to hold the camera for so long in your hand? Are you using some kind of camera mount? If so, which one is that? Can you show me please, I also want to try and buy. Thanks.
I love the atmosphere of Indian cities and am fascinated by the way people live in them. Never once did I feel threatened or concerned for my safety and was surprised how little notice was taken of me being the only white person walking on his own. The contrast between green New Zealand and India has to be seen to be believed. It’s just people like you and me going about their lives as they understand and accept it. Thanks for this video. I’m about to make my fourth trip to Delhi and India .
I can see many negative comments but this is the way old Delhi lives, and yes they live with pride. The turnover of the trading activities in the area may be much more than the GDP of many countries.
We can not evaluate a city/society solely by GDP. There are many more factors and it is a complicated field of research. Even if people are proud of their life (which are not) it doesn't mean the city or the society are perfect or good. Their pride might be due to ignorance.
Hey buddy..hope you will be equipped with 4k camera soon like other walking videos!! All your video reminds me of visiting India for my business trip back in 2000s so there was no time to walk around like you do
a completely distorted space-time in which yet everything is explained and has a politico-historical meaning then we understand the nonchalance and carelessness of individuals and their smiles too: they are not responsible for this chaos and this distortion ... India was like that when they were born and they had no other choice apart from adapting to it
The poverty isn't fascinating at all..doesn't mean I hate poor people. but coz it's so painful to see how God put them in that situation. No human deserve to be treated that way.. So what's the point of being delivered to this world?
When the World finally self destructs , I am convinced this place will rise up like the Pheonix from the Ashes and carry on as if nothing has happened. Mind boggling stuff , what a vid' this is
It was tribal cast based small cluster of multiple ethnic groups living in different places. there was no single political entity named "India". country as a political division is a very new concept in the region.
People need to be got awareness about cleanliness and co-operation. No matter people are poor or rich. If they are clean definitely they will be developed and standard of living will be improved. But there are no sign of awareness message to the people in streets and roads. But who will initiate the move? Government and social organization have to be indulged to get in awareness among people by sign boards and through medias. Govt. Should ensure free and good footpath. Footpath encroachers should be strictly removed. People have to understand the need of cleanliness not only in home but also the surroundings of our nation.
This was 5 years ago video. Just hope the streets have been improved for people in 2020. For sure less people everywhere during virus lockdown restraction🙏

People who live there would not like to live anywhere else !!! They love it there ! I would rather live in a noisy place than a dead place !!!
unbelievable how people enjoy in living in such filth
it's business place. Not whole Delhi is just the same.

I love these videos! The constant beeping of the horns would probably drive me nuts if I were there though...
CurlyKris71 Its all noisy and chaotic in so many ways.
+CurlyKris71 There are far fewer Indians in 'Old Delhi' than there are in Ruwi High Street in Oman on a Saturday night
You will get used to it in 45 minutes, it's human nature
nice job man, keep it up...

Cleaner than other places in India, but looks very poverty stricken.
There are a lot of nice looking cars on the streets. They can't be that poor.
