Prem Nalin, I felt that as solo female traveler my trip to India in 2007 was one of the safest back then. In spite of the large population it was fairly safe and the Indian men I met were some of the most respectful -- not desirous to cause bodily harm (maybe cheat me financially but not physical harm). It's a desire to control and then the fear dualities arise. Then the attachment desires and then the desires to detach. Choice becomes clouded through addictions and programs and then also our nature of joy-bliss and the choices, and experiences and creations that go with that.
